Chris Brown Blasts Stores For Not Carrying His CD

Chris Brown outside MTV studios - 1

Chris Brown is a little peeved at some major US stores for not stocking his new album “Graffiti,” crying to his twitter page and posted angry messages on his Twitter account blasting the stores who chose to pass on his cd.

Per PopEater:

“the[y] didnt even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself,” he wrote in a series of tweets over the weekend. “im tired of this s—. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f— do i gotta do.” He continued: “im not biting my tongue about sh– else… the industry can kiss my ass. WTF… yeah i said it and i aint retracting s–. we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had alicia keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin … the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS.”

We can only assume that some of these stores are not stocking his album because he’s a convicted woman beater, unless anyone has a better guess. Not everyone has to support the singer just because he told a few talk-show hosts he’s sorry.

Awwwhats wrong Chris? You feel you’re being blackballed? Thats horrible. ALMOST as horrible as the job you did on Rihanna’s face. Chris, you poor poor thing. Life is so hard for you. All this little Twitter rant of yours does is make you look like a whiny, hotheaded, jerk which doesn’t exactly match up with the whole sensitive, changed man image you’ve been trying to shell out. I love that his life is reduced to lurking at Wal-Mart, looking for his own CD.

THE #1 MOST PLAYED SONG OF 2009 ON THE TOP 40 CHARTS

Congratulations are in order to the band “The All American Rejects” who close out 2009 with the most played song of they year on the Billboard’s Top 40 Chart for their song “Gives You Hell,” edging out their fierce competition that includes Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, and even Taylor Swift!

The Los Angeles Times proclaims, “Kick-start rockers like the gleeful kiss-off ‘Gives You Hell’” is “Relentlessly hooky” and “Time immortal.”

“’Gives You Hell’ is the first single off When the World Comes Down, the band’s third full-length, and it’s just as snotty as pop-punk needs to be with anthemic major-key riffs, angst-laden lyrics and a driving 4/4 beat.”Artist Direct

“’Gives You Hell’ is filled with a cleverly snarky attitude. The attitude of “Dirty Little Secret” is here in full force, and you will likely find yourself singing along. If the chorus wasn’t catchy enough, the band accents the point with a crowd singalong to close out the track.”Absolute Punk.net

“Gives You Hell” spent four weeks at #1 on the Top 40 charts making it the group’s first #1 song on Mainstream Top 40 and Adult Top 40 Tracks charts. The song was also their first to break into the top five on Billboard’s Hot 100 and stayed in the Billboard Top 10 for over 13 weeks. “Gives You Hell” the band’s most successful single to date with over 3.3 million copies in digital sales alone. “The All American Rejects” first scored commercial success with the single, “Swing Swing” from their self-titled debut album. The album went on to sell over one million records and was certified platinum. The second album produced the smash hits, “Dirty Little Secret,” “It Ends Tonight,” and the LP’s inspiring anthemic title track “Move Along.” All three songs reached top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and went double platinum as did the overall album.

“We are thrilled that we have been played relentlessly over the past year, hopefully people aren’t too sick of us by now,” said Rejects front man Tyson Ritter. “But truly, we have the best fans in the world. It’s because of them that this band is where we are. They are the ones who kept our song on the charts and on the radio for so long and we thank them.”

The successes of 2009 have paved the way for an exciting 2010 for The All-American Rejects. The band has scored major appearances such as performing at this year’s Winter Olympics at the Whistler Medals Plaza, a high profile performance for Direct TV at Super Bowl XLIV, and a Direct TV special set to air in February with more exciting news and details to be announced later. The band is currently on a whirlwind tour promoting their third studio album “When The World Comes Down.” For more information and current tour dates please visit their website.

Tokio Hotel – World Behind My Wall

Tokio Hotel is a German band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 consisting identical brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, along with Gustav Schafer and Georg Listing. The four met after a live show in a Magdeburg club where Listing and Schafer, who knew each other from music school, watched from the audience while the Kaulitz brothers played on the stage. They formed a band and soon began playing in talent shows and small concerts under the name Devilish, being discovered by music producer Peter Hoffmann after Bill’s participation in a children’s Star Search in 2003. They then decided to change their name from Devilish to Tokio Hotel: “Tokio”, the German spelling of the Japanese city Tokyo, due to a love of the city, and “Hotel” due to their constant touring and living in hotels.

Its been quite the busy month for Tokio Hotel; Not only are they featured in the new Verizon Droid commercial their song “Human Connect To Human” (Check out the sci-fi themed spot here), but they also won the award for Best Group earlier this month at MTV’s European Music Awards where they also performed their new single “World Behind My Wall.” This guitar-charged ballad is their new, official focus track in the US and follows “Automatic” as the second single off of their latest album, “Humanoid.” Check out the song above then head on over to iTunes to pick up their latest album.

Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack and New Movie Stills – Photos

new-moon-movie-stills-pic-11

All good things come to those who wait? Naaaahhhhh. The “New Moon” soundtrack was set to be released next Tuesday, but now it’s become one of the rare albums to have its release date pushed up. Summit Entertainment issued a release saying “due to overwhelming and unprecedented demand,” the soundtrack will come out this Friday!

Adding to the great news, Myspace announced earlier this week that starting yesterday the site will premiere songs from the album on its official New Moon profile, allowing fans to listen to all 15 tracks in their entirety legally. Led by Death Cab for Cutie’s with the official song for the movie titled “Meet Me on the Equinox“, the soundtrack album is made up solely of “original and exclusive” songs. Muse, who contributed to the first movies soundtrack, is making a return with another track titled “I Belong to You (New Moon)“. The line-up also include Thom Yorke, The Killers, and OK Go. Regardless of your level of affection for vampires who sparkle, the album has been getting pretty decent reviews and may be worth paying attention to even if you’re not swept into the whole “Twilight” hysteria. “New Moon” will open on November 20th, giving us fan enough time to reread the book with the soundtrack blaring in the background. Twi-hards, you now have 35 days from today to get this done!

In other related news, the official soundtrack for the first movie in the franchise, “Twilight.” is nominated in the category for favorite soundtrack at this years AMA’s, alongside the soundtracks for “Hannah Montana: The Movie” and “Hannah Montana 3.” If you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, some of the Twilight soundtrack artist include Paramore

with the movies official song “Decode“, Robert Pattinson, and Muse - just to name a few. The awards show will take place on ABC on November 22nd, just two days after The “Twilight Saga: New Moon” movie is released, and voting is still ongoing.

This is one franchise that has no signs of slowing down. “Overwhelming and unprecedented demand” is every movie exec’s dream. So be prepared for a few more years of Robert Pattinson and sparkling vampires. You have been warned.
