Currently, filming has been underway in Nottingham, England. Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway were spotted with a crew shooting a rainy scene outside of what is said to be Wayne Manor. Top 5 Movie Curses

Superstitious or not, some of these rumored Hollywood Curses are creepy and make you question what is just coincidence and what could be more…

5. The ‘Dark Knight’ Curse
This one is a stretch, but it is still a rumored “curse” according to die-hard believers. Things started with the death of a crew member. A truck carrying the technician and a camera platform crashed into a tree while following a stunt vehicle. Heath Ledger’s death followed after filming had finished, but many blamed his insomnia and troubled mental state on delving too deep into his character. He mixed a lethal blend of sleep aids and pain killers and died before the film hit theaters. Christian Bale also faced some troubles just before the film’s London premiere. He went crazy and had a violent outburst that resulted in assault charges filed by his mother and sister. Morgan Freeman nearly died in a car crash. His vehicle flipped twice and he was said to be in serious condition, but survived.

4. Billy Bob Thornton Co-Star Curse
Billy Bob has 70 titles on his resume and hundreds of costars, but he has a list of co-stars who all died before they could order from the senior citizen’s menu. (As I approach 30…50-something is looking younger and younger.) It’s more like a sad version of 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon and has more to do with working with slew of great talent that was taken too soon, but some say it’s a curse.

1998 – ‘Slingblade’ – J.T. Walsh had a heart attack less than 2 years after co-starring with Billy.
2000 – ‘Daddy and Them’ – Jim Varney lost his battle with lung cancer before the film even hit theaters. (Obviously this death was a long time development, that started while he was filming, ‘Treehouse Hostage.’)
2003-’Bad Santa’ and ‘Slingblade’ – John Ritter was 55 and starring in a delightful tv show, ‘8 Simple Rules.’ An undetected heart defect claimed his life.
2003 – ‘Dirty Life and Times…’ –Warren Zevon and Billy Bob filmed a “slice of life” documentary that featured their efforts in making his record. Zevon succumbed to mesothelioma a year later.
2008 – ‘Monster Ball’ – Heath Ledger gave a performance that showed off his versatility as Billy Bob’s troubled son in 2001. In 2008 Heath died after mixing a toxic blend of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.
2008 – ‘Bad Santa’ – Bernie Mac was also in Bad Santa with Thornton and Ritter. Mac had been battling sarcoidosis, but was said to have had it under control. Unfortunately, contrary to reports by reps that Bernie was going to make a full recovery…he died on August 8th.
2009 – ‘Waking Up in Reno’ – Natasha Richardson played Billy’s wife in ‘Waking Up in Reno.’ Sadly, she died in a tragic skiing accident after suffering an epidural hematoma.
2009 – ‘Waking Up in Reno’ – Patrick Swayze also starred in ‘Waking Up in Reno’ with Billy Bob in 2002. He passed away of pancreatic cancer despite a hopeful year long struggle.

3. The ‘Poltergeist’ Films Curse
This is what happens when you have a pool party with dead people. Actual skeletons were used to create the scene in which Diane Freeling (played by JoBeth Williams) is in a swimming pool with a bunch of dead bodies. The use of the real thing is where the curse began. Accidents, fires and other mishaps began to be a reoccurring issue on set. JoBeth even reported that pictures on her walls were always moved or askew after she came home from filming each day. Dominique Dunne was murdered by her boyfriend just after the movie was released. Heather O’Rourke, who played little Carol Ann, died after a freak infection (that was thought to be the flu) took its toll. Julian Beck was 60 years old and had stomach cancer, but curse believers blame the movies. Will Sampson died in 1987 after complications from a heart and lung transplant claimed his life.

2. The Exorcist Curse
This one is creepy thanks to the fact it was based on incident that occurred in Georgetwon involving a 13 year boy. After filming began the set burned down, a carpenter cut off his thumb, Linda Blair had a mental breakdown and nine deaths occurred while the film was in production. Linda’s grandpa died along with Jack McGowen, Max Von Sydow’s brother, a night watchman, a special effects expert, a cameraman’s newborn and the sequel’s original director (John Frankenhiemer). Other rumors state that fax machines would turn on by themselves and print out pages filled with the number 6.

1. The ‘Atuk’ Script Curse
Atuk’ is a script that is still out there, but never made it past day 1 of production. The script surfaced in the 80’s centering on the plot of a plus sized Eskimo fulfilling his dream of living in New York City. John Belushi was originally intended to star in the movie. He reportedly read the script and was “enthusiastic” about playing the part. Soon after, he was found dead of a drug overdose. Next, Sam Kinison accepted the role and even filmed a few scenes before he had a breakdown, locked himself in his dressing room and refused to continue filming unless the script underwent some rewrites. In 1992 he died in a car crash. Michael O’Donoghue had read the script and recommended it to Belushi and Kinison died of a cerebral hemorrhage. In 1994 the ‘Atuk’ script surfaced again in John Candy’s hands. The day before the 12th anniversary of Belushi’s death, Candy suffered a fatal heart attack. Finally Chris Farley was the last to read the script and was about to accept the role when he, like John, died of a drug overdose. It is also rumored that Chris showed the script to Phil Hartman and was encouraging him to take a co-starring role in the movie. Phil was shot and killed by his wife six months after Farley’s death. The film was then damned and shelved. A rumor circulated that it was up for auction on eBay, but it was never confirmed as legit.

Joseph Gordon Levitt Cast in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

The official cast for the third installment of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Batman’ series is finally taking shape. Another name has been added to the list of villains the superhero will take on in the third Batman film, ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’

Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine have been locked down while the rest of the ensemble has seen every rumor from Eddie Murphy being given the role of The Riddler to Angelina Jolie as Catwoman.

As Nolan finalizes the script, casting for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ has finally gotten serious. Joseph Gordon Levitt has officially joined the lineup after he was rumored to be auditioning and a serious contender. IMBD had him listed as a credited cast several months ago before removing his name from the lineup.

Levitt has returned to the list and is said to have nabbed the role of Alberto Falcone aka The Holiday Killer. Initial rumors attached him to the role of The Riddler, but soon changed direction and rumbled that he would be Robin. I recalled Nolan promising that Robin would not make an appearance in his Batman reboots. So that one was obviously a miss, but according to Variety, Joseph will be portraying mafia boss Carmine Falcone’s outcast son. The character in the comic books targets Gotham City criminals and murders them on holidays.

Anne Hathaway was given the coveted role of Catwoman, but Marion Cotillard’s name is also attached to the project as a rumored new love interest. If Marion does join the film, it would reunite 3 members of Nolan’s other box office hit, ‘Inception.’ Tom Hardy was the first to join Bale, Oldman, Freeman and Caine. The teenage model turned actor was announced to be playing Bane. According to IMBD’s character description, he is one of Batman’s “most deadly and powerful foes” who boasts strength and a high IQ. He is also one of the very few villains who figures out the caped crusader’s real identity. (If you saw the 1997 franchise film…he was Poison Ivy’s henchman.)

With the news of Levitt joining the film, another casting rumor is thrown into the mix. Juno Temple is said to be up for a supporting role as a “street-smart Gotham girl.”

Oscars 2011 Winners List and PHOTOS, VIDEO

Aside from the fashion that will be subjected to Joan River’s endless puns, the night belongs who took home the Academy Award. Anne Hathaway and James Franco hosted the evenings events as two of the youngest hosts in the event’s history.

[Colin Firth's Oscars Acceptance Speech - VIDEO]

The theme of the night screamed “THE OSCARS ARE NOW HIP AND FUN!!!! YOU ARE HAVING FUN!!!” Too bad it was the typical snoozefest despite Anne’s high on life energy. She was brought down by Franco’s Ovah This Mess/Probably Stoned Right Now demeanor. Even with James briefly dressed as Marilyn Monroe and a skit in which he was in a white skintight leotard couldn’t save things from the sleepy state. Half way through the show most of the celebs were ready to hand over the Best Actor statue to Colin Firth and get to the bar already.

Anne Hathaway is Catwoman in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ – CONFRIMED

After a plethora of casting rumors surrounding Christopher Nolan’s third installment of Batman have been swirling since the success of “The Dark Knight,” we FINALLY have confirmation.

Anne Hathaway will be Catwoman in “The Dark Knight Rises.” Warner Brothers issued an announcement confirming the casting decision along with Nolan’s statement.

Via Deadline:

“Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”

The rumors surrounding Tom Hardy being cast as Batman’s foe, Bane, are also confirmed as true.

“In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

The statement also gave a date for release. If filming and production go according to plan, ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ will hit theaters on July 20,2012.

Eminem Likes To Write Music WHERE?!

Eminem is spilling a lot in the new ‘Rolling Stone‘ Magazine issue where he graces the cover. He talks about losing a ton of weight for a movie, Elton John helping him with his sobriety, and his favorite place to write music.

Per E! Online:

“I think we do most of our best thinking on the sh-tter. What else do you have to do in there besides think?”

Hmm. Good point. Eminem also reveals he was once so obsessed with his weight that his ideal body was that of Christian Bale in “The Machinist,” a role for which the actor lost a lot of weight, becoming virtually a shadow of his former self. He also dishes some details about his unofficial “sponsor” Sir Elton John and how he was the first person he called when he realized the drugs were killing him and he needed to break the addiction circle.

“He usually calls me once a week to check on me, just to make sure I’m on the up-and-up. He was actually one of the first people I called when I wanted to get clean.”

Pick up the new Rolling Stone to read more. I’m sure it’ll be a great issue!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt to be Riddler in Third Batman ?!!?

After quietly raising his star power and nabbing a role in “Inception,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be cast in another career making role. Levitt is one of the few child stars to actually make a career for himself past the age 9. Currently he has nearly 60 appearances on tv and film on his resume.

As a third installment to Christopher Nolan’s Batman machine begins to take shape, casting rumors are running amok. The villain that will torture the Christian Bale’s hero hasn’t been announced but insiders are swearing it will be The Riddler.

Via First Showing:

“We’ve gotten word from a reliable inside source with a studio casting grid that The Riddler is listed as a character for Chris Nolan’s highly anticipated to the sequel to The Dark Knight, which is still called Batman 3 at Warner Bros. Even more interesting, the actor currently listed in the same grid to play the assumed villain is none other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt, whose status is just listed as ‘interested.’”

Many names have been thrown around for roles in the third installment. Many characters have also been theorized. You may have heard Johnny Depp was after the Riddler role along with a long list of actresses after the Catwoman role. Even a delicious rumor feature Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin circulated. Currently, Christopher Nolan and his brother, Jonathan Nolan along with David Groyer are still rumored to be working on the screenplay.

So is there any validity to this rumor? Perhaps. Levitt wisely spoke highly of Nolan after working with him in the latest hit film “Inception.” They reportedly got along very well and he’d be stupid turn his nose up at an opportunity like this. In my opinion, I would walk away confident that the Riddler will be a villain in the much anticipated third Batman.
