Lindsay Lohan Not In Psych Ward, Causes Scene Over Seating Arrangements

lindsay-lohan-at-fashion-week-1

Lindsay Lohan would like the world to know that a story about her being admitted to a psych ward yesterday is in fact not true. Did anyone else hear this story cause I’m fairly certain it doesn’t even exist at all. The actress, if you wanna call her that, took to her personal Twitter page yesterday to so-call ‘set the record straight.’

Lindsay Lohans Twitter:

“Hahahaha my publicist just called me & said she heard I was in a psych ward!!!! Hahaha WHAT IS WRONG with people???? I’m working lol”

“BUT that’s one I’ve NEVER heard about myself before! New ones r always interesting huh? There’s SO much more going on in the world! Wake up”

Looks like somebody is fishing for a little publicity! Lindsay, are you the one who made this up so you could tweet just to remind everyone that you are still relevant and are indeed working on something? Meanwhile, Lohan attended the G-Star runway show Tuesday night at Hammerstein Ballroom, only to make a complete jerk of herself and throw a fit like someone revoked her VIP card at the liquor store. In true spoiled brat fashion, she refused to pose for photographs and had to be dragged through the press line like a puppy on a leash. Apparently, she also had a little problem with the seating arrangement at the show.

Per NY Post:

“Lindsay decided she wasn’t happy with the seating arrangements. She began taking the seating cards for celebrities like Juliette Lewis and Christian Siriano and moving them or throwing them on the floor,” said our source.

Note to Lindsay: ticking off Juliette Lewis may not be a wise move for you to make! Event producers finally approached her after they saw her toss aside Taylor Momsen’s place card. Her response to them was oh-so-ever-classy.

Per NY Post:

“Don’t [bleep]ing touch me,” and “rolled her eyes and continued moving the place cards,” said our spy.

How ‘diva’ of you. Come on Lindsay – your hissy fits and and rehab/psych ward stories are starting to bore me. Time to try something else. Maybe a little more relevant, perhaps?

Bella Swan’s Wedding Dress Sketch Photos

bella-swans-wedding-dress-breaking-dawn-1

Several designers were asked by Instyle to sketch a wedding dress for Bella Swan to wear during the pivotal marriage scene in the Twilight Saga to Edward Cullen. Us die-hard Twi-hard fans know from the third Twilight book, “Eclipse,” that the gown is an early 1900s design, with an updated train and veil by Alice Cullen. From the fourth book, “Breaking Dawn,” the gown is something that makes the bride’s mother say, “You look like you just stepped out of an Austen movie.” Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is one of the 9 designers asked to come up with a dress.

Per Pop Watch:

“I wanted this to be a modern day antique-inspired gown. The lace bodice climbs up to the neck to reveal a sultry open back of flesh with tiny silk buttons that clasp at the neck. It’s a true turn of the century gown, full of Gothic and glamorous fullness in the skirt which flows as she moves. The gown is mysterious and feminine, perfect for a dream wedding.”

Prabal Gurung’s, which feels borderline inappropriate, has a dramatic train, low-cut back and features a unique neckline with red embellishments for a touch of color. Definitely nothing like the book. Another designers, Lela Rose, chose a simple design that would suit Bellas personality but draws attention to the back of the gown with its lace bustles. Monique Lhuillier went for a similar mermaid style look, but with a bit more flash and lace detailing. Erin Fetherston offered up a a two-tiered high-neck gown with puffy sleeves and lace bustier. Max Azria seems to capture Bella’s awkward and quiet beauty with a vintage lace detail gown, completing the dress with lace peaked shoulders, full sleeves and a high neck. Badgley Mischka’s take is a strong silhouette with vintage details like full-length lace sleeves and bodice, and a high-buttoned neck. His outlook seems a little more appropriate for someone like Cruella De Vil than Bella Swan. Brian Reyes strayed too far off script designing a tarnished bone color dress with a ruffled blouse and lace diamond inserts. Definitely nothing like what is described in the book, so its pretty safe to say that this dress will not be worn by Bella. Zac Posen’s pink gown is also certain to be a no-go for the Swan/Cullen nuptials, complete with lace up boots.

Siriano has my vote with his youthful but elegant and classy design. Most like what I – and the majority of other Twilight fans – had pictured when reading the book. Whatever has chosen, you can bet this will wind up being a hit, the replicas for this dress will fly off the shelf for the following wedding season! Where can I pre-order mine??

Christian Siriano Sings Payless Deal

It’s like lessons on how to stay relevant. It is hardly fashion news, but I had to share the fallen ego of the Project Runway winner.

Christian Siriano, winner of Heidi Klum Minions Work for Free show, has inked a deal with Payless shoes. He is known for openly bashing other designers. His favorite victims are those ho bags from “The Hills” who call themselves designers. At one point he was designing garb for Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Vanessa Williams and celebs of that nature.

On his way “up” he has signed a deal with the affordable shoe store for a line of shoes and handbags due in fall 2009.

“I’m so excited to design and create with such an amazing brand that is all about fashion and trend but, most importantly, is also about affordability,” said Siriano. “I’ve already been working with the Payless Design Team in New York, and I can’t wait to see how they will take the high- end shoes and bags I’m designing for the runway and turn them into pieces that everyone can buy. I’m all about the runway and the sidewalks!”

You can get your recycled idealism in shoe form for the bargain price of $25-$45 next February. His collection for the shoe source will be featured in his New York show.

Is it just me or is he like the next Isaac Mizrahi?
