Britney Spears Walks Off Stage During Concert: No Weed Please!

Oh what a diva she is! Britney Spears was playing a show in Vancouver on her “Circus” tour when she stopped three songs in and walked off stage due to the heavy pot smoke drifting in from the crowd. The concert came to a standstill, including lights off, for about 20 minutes until an announcement was made about the smoke being unsafe for Britney and her crew.

Via People:

“The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes – this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared.”

About 40 minutes after the announcement, Spears returned to the stage and continued on with the concert, only to leave the set for a short time a few minutes later. The interruption was met by “boos” from the crowd and left the fans really upset. After the concert, an apologetic statement was posted on Spears official website.

Per BritneySpears.com:

“We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”

After the final encore, as Spears ran off the stage she told the audience, “Thanks Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don’t smoke weed!” Haha! Seems like a little bit of the old Crazy-Britney is shining through!

Fred Durst Talks About Britney Spears Romance

Fred Durst is reheating the Britney Spears he-said, she-said fiasco over their 2003 rumored romance.

I am guessing this is in order to remain relevant, but Durst is back to claiming he and Spears were in love. If you recall, she and Fred worked to together to write songs for her upcoming album. Things turned gooey and he became outspoken about his lovey feelings for Britney, telling fans she “happens to be a person that I [wouldn't] have thought could make me feel this way.”

Either he was lying or Spears was on damage control. She went on TRL to blast the relationship rumors stating that she “barely knew” Durst. He became irate and fired back via Howard Stern. He went on the shock jock’s show and swore on “his child’s blue eyes” that he was telling the truth.

Durst has reopened the subject telling MTV about his current feelings regarding Britney.

“It just became a fiasco of madness. I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar.”

Fred also mused about her subsequent downfall. The following 6 years after their alleged affair became a slow train wreck for her.

“I look back on it as very interesting how things have been sort of unraveling for her since… but it is what it is. I can sleep at night knowing I made decisions that I wanted to make. I’m a supporter. I was then, I guess I am now. I just guess at the time it was taboo for a guy like me to be associated with a gal like her.”

Hmm….She went on to marry and procreate with Kevin Federline. I am pretty sure that she didn’t fear his “taboo” factor. Someone get this guy a copy of “He’s Just Not That Into You.” It was probably a drunken one night stand that he turned into some “union of two souls” moment. I’d deny, deny, deny too.

Britney Spears Daily Bible Reading

Madonna is the only one getting her Jesus love on. Britney Spears reads the Bible daily.

This under order of Papa Spears according to rumor. The Daily Mirror reports that Brit is required to read the Bible for hour every day. Her dad is keeping an ever watchful eye on the re-rising pop starlet.

“Brit is also banned from tucking into junk food (not sure she is keeping to that one), leaving the hotel unless accompanied by security, or meeting K Fed without her dad or manager.”

Egads. He even manages her time spent online says the source; she feels like a prisoner. I don’t know how much I buy this story. The girl wears boobie tassels on a nightly basis. Of course, whatever laws he is enforcing seem to be working as she is slowly rising from the broken pieces of her past. It’s probably best that she steers clear of K-Fed and the rest of the crew that helped her fall into crazy.

Who am I to judge? The closest form of Sunday worship I participate in is Never-Ending-Pancakes at IHOP.

Britney Spears to Cancel ‘Circus’ Tour ?!?

Britney Spears’ upcoming highly anticipated “Circus” tour since her comeback is in danger of being canceled according to a new report. She will end up canceling her tour if ex husband Kevin Federline lawyers continue to block an agreement allowing her to take the kids on the road. For weeks now Britney, K-Fed, and daddy Jamie Spears have been trying to map out a plan to allow Spears to travel with her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The plan is to have homes in 3 different cities – New Jersey, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. Her boys would stay in one of three cities, with Britney commuting in between all three depending on her schedule. And just whats in it for K-Fed? He would be given his own pad in each of the three bases, and be paid in excess of $4,000 a week for each week she’s on tour. Basically, the 4 grand is “STFU and let me play mommy with my kiddies” money.

K-Feds lawyers became aware of this agreement and were furious that this was all handled behind their backs. They accused Daddy Spears of going behind their backs and cutting them out. K-Fed’s lawyers aren’t amused with the deal for reasons unknown. Sources tell TMZ that K-Fed’s lawyers have said they object to the plan but won’t specifically say why. If an agreement doesn’t pan out, Spears is adament that she WILL cancel her upcoming tour. She has been working hard to regain 50/50 custody of her kids with Federline, and doesn’t want to hurt her progress. The three have also worked out a long-term agreement, which would extend the arrangement. That too, could end up compromised.

UGH. Can’t the lawyers just let it be since this is all in Britney, Kevin and the boys’ best interest? Stay tuned…
