Simon Cowell isn’t the nicest guy or at least that’s how I perceive him when watching him on the ‘X Factor.’ He just tells the contestants like it is and doesn’t think twice about hurting someones feelings. Maybe his ‘too honest’ personality also plays a part in his relationship turmoil. Simon got engaged last year to girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy, but now it seems the wedding is off. The couple is calling it a break and not a split, but come on!

A little bit of justice for the 9/11 attacks has finally been achieved as the man who orchestrated the terrorist attack that took nearly 3,000 victims lives. After months of intelligence work and help from Pakinstan, Osama Bin Laden was shot in the head after a successful raid by American military. A 40 minute “kill mission” took place at a “mansion” that is said to have been built with the goal of hiding the al Qaeda leader. His location was in Abbottabad, Pakistan, about two hours outside of Islamabad.

As host of the Golden Globe Awards, Ricky Gervais took sharp, arguably cruel jabs at targets including Charlie Sheen, Cher, the film “The Tourist” and even the sponsoring Hollywood Foreign Press Association. I say, WELL DONE! BRAVO! I mean, REALLY, he was the only thing that made a usually tedious, ho hum awards show EXCITING… For once! It’s usually a total snooze. Gervais was only keepin’ it real!
Per CNN:
“I was just doing my job,” he insists. “If they didn’t want me, they shouldn’t have hired me,” the British barb-slinger said on CNN‘s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”
“I don’t think I did anything wrong,” Gervais said. “Those were like gibes at these people, and I’m sure they’ve got a sense of humor.
“I’m not going to apologize for being true to myself,” he said. “My strategy is to make me laugh. If there’s anyone in the world like me, that’s a bonus.”
Gervais, who was making his second appearance as Golden Globes host, said he took the job on the condition that he could say what he wanted. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which administers the Globes, didn’t clear his material beforehand.
“They didn’t want to see it,” he said.
There has been no official word on whether Gervais will be back next year, but I can only hope he WILL be!

This is what happens when fools living in their mom’s basement takes over the job of real news reporting! After being induced to sleep last night with the help of my friend Bloody Mary, I was awoken to a barrage of text messages from family members and friends claiming Johnny Depp was dead! Oh no, I thought, and I jumped out of bed and stumbled my drunken tail to the computer to find out for myself only to see that its not true. Johnny Depp is NOT dead! Instead, Mr. Depp is the latest celebrity to be hit by the death hoax. Phew! I would have hated for 2010 to start off with the death of the ‘Sexiest Man Alive.’
Per E!:
“He isn’t dead,” Depp’s rep, Robin Baum, told E! News. “He’s fine.”
According to reports, a website made a fake web page for CNN News with the headline “Johnny Depp Dies After Fatal Car Crash,” claiming his car was found alongside a road outside Bordeaux, France, with the guard rail embedded deep inside the car. Images of the supposed car wreckage were also posted with the so-called news. The website claimed that CNN’s Melissa Gray and Harris Whitback wrote this report, but there were many obvious mistakes that made it clear they didn’t. Not only did the dateline of the fraud web page say March 25, 2004, but right after it said ‘alcohol’ caused the incident, there was a story below it about British explorers who escaped from caves in Mexico, which nowhere linked to the story. Whoever the losers are with apparently no life who had the time to come up with the story, it apparently worked at least for a while, as fans have been tweeting “RIP Johnny Depp,” making it a Twitter trending topic.
The good news is our beloved Jack Sparrow is still alive and kicking. The bad news is the people behind the fake story should consider going into hiding for the next couple of months. God knows what his fans will do to the people behind the site if they find them!

Despite the dinnertime shrieks of “OMG Zach Braff killed himself! I read it on Twitter!” that you might have heard, the actor is very much alive and well! Reports that the “Scrubs” actor had died of an apparent suicide have been spreading like wild fires yesterday, with the news even being reported on a fake CNN site and becoming a top trending topic on Twitter. The headline of the article said “Beloved Scrubs Actor Found Dead In His Home” and claimed he was found with an empty pill bottle by his side. The news of Braff’s so-called death was first reported on the hoax CNN page, which actually looked quite genuine, while another article appeared claiming that Braff had died while shooting a film in New Zealand. Thankfully, these turned out to be not true. However, if you did a little browsing on the fake CNN page it clearly gave away the hoax – all of the “top stories” on the right hand side were from 2007. Braff posted a video on Monday to his personal Facebook page, disputing the claim and calling out the person behind it.

“There was a big Internet rumor today that I was dead … that I OD’d on some pills. It’s not the case, I’m here at ‘Scrubs’ shooting the new ‘Scrubs’ title sequence, which is a little bit like dying, so I guess that was semi-accurate. A couple of inaccuracies you should have noticed when you saw the thing, if you believed it — the dude said I was found in my 32,000 square foot estate in Beverly Hills – but I’m not Oprah! That’s a big house! I just want to say to the douchebag who started this: You win my first ever douche of the day award for making my mom upset!”
Chris Laganella of New Jersey seems to be the lucky winner of that award. He has since removed the fake CNN page post and replaced it with an apology and explanation that I don’t quite understand. Laganella writes that he made the spoof page in 2007 for friends and fellow fans of “Scrubs,” but somehow it was made public without his knowledge.

“So let’s just clear some stuff up. I did not make this page to intentionally fool everyone on the internet. I didn’t expect it to even be made public. Ever. I’m sorry if I scared everyone out there. Zach, sorry if you got offended by me posting a fake suicide about you on the internet. Your 32,000 square foot house would be pretty empty without you. Thanks for (apparently) taking it lightly, since I haven’t gotten a letter about a lawsuit yet. Just so you know, I’m a huge fan; that’s the only reason I made this page, believe it or not. Also, sorry for upsetting your mother.”
There’s a new one of these fake troll-inspired death rumors every week. I think only school kids are fooled by it any more. Sometimes it’s the oddest celebs, which the pranksters do on purpose to make it more believable. While we’ve debunked this one, its only a matter of time before the next one pops up.

YES! Kathy Griffin was celebrating the New Year with Anderson Cooper on CNN. The conversation went from talking about Anderson’s favorite topic, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” to Kathy spouting obscenities at hecklers. She through out the “d” word on CNN.
“I’m working! “I don’t go to your job and knock the d*cks out of your mouth!”
Her potty mouthed comment made it to the air live. However, CNN is filled with old farts who are offended by peen jokes and they censored it for future feeds.
I am guessing that during the commercial Anderson was giggling like a school girl and giving Kathy snaps.
