It sounds like the ingredients to a Ginger laced cocktail that will make your dreams of a magical flying pony a reality.
While Conan O’Brien is in the glorious city of Chicago, he sent Jack McBrayer to The Wieners Circle for a late night hot dog. This is like sending the male version of Taylor Swift to a hot dog stand ran by the script writers for Jerry Springer.
After getting a taste of the notorious foul mouthed staff, Jack returned with Triumph and hilarity ensued.

Most aren’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for Coco. His new show on TBS has been pimped like a ho on the stroll, but reviews are mostly falling in the ho-hum category. However, ratings are pretty good. In fact they are currently beating Leno with a 2.8 percent of households watching his basic cable debut.
Conan O’Brien premiered his new show, Conan, with guests Seth Rogen and Lea Michele. (Everyone else was busy seasoning their crepe pans.) First a sketch depicting his feud and exit from the Tonight Show reminded us he is still bitter. Perhaps rightfully so, but we get it…NBC/Jay Leno/Tonight Show bigwigs are douchebags. The skit showed Conan looking for work and trying to join the ‘Mad Men’ advertising agency, working at Burger King, as a kids birthday party clowns and finally off TBS.
Conan’s monologue was filled with the same bitter feelings and, while I love Coco, I wished he’d move on. Regardless, I still love him and his ginger pompadour. I do find it amusing that he pointed out the fact that after daylight savings time ended he is still really on at midnight.
O’Brien’s pal, Ricky Gervais, also sent in a well wishing and I was really wishing he would have been a guest.

Seth Rogen confirmed that he is engaged on Conan Obrien’s TBS debut. During the lackluster premiere of ‘Conan’ the “Green Hornet” star talked about how he bought the ring and then popped the question to girlfriend Lauren Miller. Miller has appeared in small roles in some of Seth’s films including ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno.’ The two have been dating for 6 years.
“Literally, I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto,” he said. “I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second. I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like ‘Don’t say ‘Lord of the Rings!’ Don’t mention anything about a ring!”
Unable to contain the secret that he had bought Miller and engagement ring, he proposed as soon as he got home.
“”She was in our closet changing, and she was literally only in her underpants, and her boobs were out,” said Rogen. “I’d already kind of started, and I was like ‘Oh man, her boobs are out! That’s not part of the plan!’ I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this. No little girl is like ‘It’ll happen in a closet with my t**s out. I figured the only appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple.”
Better than a stank a$$ monkey cage at the zoo. (Long, bitter story.)

Conan O’Brien Back On TBS Tonight!

It’s been 10 long months but finally Conan O’Brien is back!! He will debut is his new show ‘Conan‘ on TBS tonight at 11pm. What can we expect? (To catch you up — Conan has been off the air since January, when NBC canceled Jay Leno’s prime-time hour after the ratings went south. NBC bought out O’Brien and his team for around $40 million to clear the way for Leno to reclaim the position as ‘The Tonight Show‘ host. It was the same position handed off to O’Brien last year.)
Tonight, Conan will debut with sidekick Andy Richter making a comeback along with a new band leader Jimmy Vivino. Guest on Conan will include Seth Rogen, ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele as well as a performance by Jack White. Week 1 guests include Tom Hanks and Jack McBrayer on Tuesday, Jon Hamm on Wednesday and Michael Cera on Thursday.
Per Showbiz Spy:
“I want to talk to people who are good at a craft, people who work with their hands. We’re going to talk to a lot of upholsterers. And we may have financial penalties. If Jim Carrey or Tom Hanks accidentally mentions his project, I think the viewer should be compensated in some way. That would be a way to turn this economy around.”

Conan O’Brien Tonight Show Reviewed as Painfully Unfunny – Video Clips

I adore Conan O’Brien and am sad to hear that his debut on the “Tonight Show” was lackluster. Critics are disappointed too and they aren’t afraid to say it.
“O’Brien commanded the stage, but seemed more comfortable laughing it up with erstwhile sidekick-turned-announcer Andy Richter than in interacting with his 380 audience members.” – The Hollywood Reporter
“In fact, his decision to do sketch upon sketch instead of a tight monologue with smart topical humor was, at times, painfully unfunny.” – New York Post
“He’s from the world of sketch comedy, not monologues, and he sticks with an idea as long as he feels something funny could happen.” – Daily News
The ratings are in and despite the critics wrath, he did amazing in tv ratings. Conan drew the highest overnight ratings for a Monday episode in four years. (In 2005 the strongest Monday night ratings centered around a tribute to Johnny Carson. ) He won his time period by a 154% over CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman.”
I personally wasn’t able to watch his debut as I was feeding hungry children and donating clothes to the needy. Ok..ok…I was getting blitzed with a few friends and shopping for tube tops. Regardless, I am hoping that this turns around for him. Everyone has performance issues their first time. (That applies to more than one situation.)
