David Arquette Checks Out Of Rehab

David Arquette is a free – and sober – man. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 30 days already since he check into rehab. He had been drinking and partying hard since the news broke that he and wife Courtney Cox were separated. After New Year’s eve and a huge party he decided he needed help for alcohol addiction and depression. A spokesperson for Arquette confirmed to US Weekly that the star had completed his treatment program and left the facility on Sunday.
“He is very committed to his sobriety and a changed person because of his experience,” an unnamed source said. “He realizes now how out of control things got and doesn’t want that to happen again … He plans on going to meetings everyday and is completely focused on what he has learned.”
Kudos to David. I wonder if he and Courtney will get back together now that he seems to have his life back on track…

Christina Aguilera and Her Husband Jordan Bratman Separate

They say ‘bad things come in threes’ – and they sure aren’t kidding! After the recent Ben Harper/Laura Dern divorce followed by the Courtney Cox/David Arquette separation, now comes the news that Christina Aguilera and husband of five years Jordan Bratman have also split! That makes the third sudden split of seemingly strong celebrity unions in five days.
Per TMZ:
The couple has been separated for a few months — just like Courtney Cox and David Arquette. There are no plans for divorce. But it’s yet another 5-year itch. Ben Harper just filed for divorce from Laura Dern after 5 years.
Aguilera and Bratman have been separated for a few months, sources say, after realizing that that “they were more like friends than husband and wife.” But they haven’t yet decided whether to make the split permanent. Although living apart, the couple have not filed for divorce yet and are said to be hopeful to make things work on behalf of their son, Max. They’ve been together since 2002 when Bratman worked as a producer on one of Aguilera’s albums.
Is this the leading edge of a trend? My theory – maybe once one couple announces that they are splitting, everybody follows suit to minimize the attention. After a couple splits in one week, it’s not surprising anymore.

David Schwimmer Secretly Married Girlfriend Zoe Buckman

Fresh off the heels of his on-screen sisters’ real-life marriage separation announcement comes the news that ‘Friends‘ star David Schwimmer – aka geeky palaeontologist Ross Geller – has tied the knot with girlfriend Zoe Buckman in a secret wedding more than four months ago. The announcement comes just hours after news broke of his former co-star Courtney Cox’s split from actor David Arquette.
Per EW:
David Schwimmer has married British photographer Zoe Buckman, his rep confirms exclusively to EW.com. The 43-year-old actor/director and Buckman, 25, were wed in a small private ceremony in early June.
They met at a London restaurant Zoe was waitressing at while David was shooting his 2007 movie “Run Fatboy Run.” They announced their engagement in March this year, with Zoe selling her Stoke Newington home and moving out to LA full time with David.
I wonder which former Friends star will make a relationship-related announcement next… Isn’t Jennifer Aniston due for one?

Courtney Cox Having an Affair with CoStar Brian Van Holt

I do not watch ‘Cougar Town.’ This is mainly due to my pending law suit I have against ABC for stealing the name of my potential sex-shop, but I digress.
Apparently, things are heating up between the show’s star, Courtney Cox, and Brian Van Holt, despite the fact that Cox is “happily” married to hasbeen David Arquette.
According to Star Magazine, the two were spotted having chips and salsa (oooh, scandalous)without David or their daughter Coco.
Via Star Magazine:
“They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa in the back of the outdoor patio,” says an eyewitness at Coral Beach Cantina. “They looked like they were holding hands at the side of their table!”
According to this source, who I would like to remind you, thinks they were holding hands, also thinks Van Holt gave Cox a kiss good-bye.
Unless that kiss involved a firm grasp of butt-cheek, some tongue, and the snapping of Cox’s bra, I am calling BS on this one.

‘Friends’ TV Hit Rumored To Become Movie

A “Friends” spinoff movie appears to be closer than ever before after comments were made by James Michael-Tyler who played Gunther on the hit tv show, while in London for the launch of a Central Perk themed coffee shop in Soho this past weekend.
Per DailyMail.co.uk:
“‘Friends: The Movie’ is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen. The one thing I can tell you is that I am definitely on board to do the film. I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again. I just hope we can do justice to the show in a film.”
As if you need any reminders, the hit NBC series, which ran for 10 seasons, included ‘friends’ Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. Supposedly, it was the success of the “Sex and the City” movie has prompted Warner Brothers to produce a movie version of “Friends” and they “are prepared to pay a fortune to the stars.” Warner Brothers has also recruited the show’s creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman, to write the script and produce the movie, with talk of a summer 2011 release.
So just what has our favorite ‘friends’ been up to since the series ended in 2004? Jennifer Aniston, who played spoiled rich girl Rachel Green, has had lead roles in films such as “Bruce Almighty“, “The Break-Up” and “Marley and Me.” She has her own production company with three films in post production and seven films in development. Courtney Cox, who played the neat freak Monica Gellar-Bing, has a new sitcom, “Cougar Town,” that premiered last week and is doing pretty well in the ratings. It is also being said that she will reprise her role as Gale Weathers in the 4th installment of the “Scream” movies. Lisa Kudrow, who played the weird but lovable Phoebe Buffay, played a mom in Summit Entertainment’s movie “Bandslam.” She is now an executive producer on the US version of “Who Do You Think You Are?” David Schwimmer, who played the 3 times divorced Ross Gellar, has done a bit of London theater after his small role in “Band of Brothers.” He also directed the 2007 British film “Run Fat Boy Run.” Matt LeBlanc, who played dumb ladies man Joey Tribbiani, had that flop of a TV comedy “Joey.” It was cancelled after just two seasons and he’s hardly been seen onscreen since. Matthew Perry, who played funnyman Chandler Bing, starred in “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” but it was canceled after one season. Last time we saw him, he was really good as older Zac Efron in “17 Again.”
So just what would be the plot lines of this story? Would Monica and Chandler still be married? Will Joey and Phoebe eventually hook up? Will Ross and Rachel finally get over his cheating while on a break? Will Janice make a guest appearance? Only time will tell, I guess. But could we ‘be‘ anymore excited!?!
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Feuding

Looks like Jen might be burning bridges.
Jennifer Aniston and her long time pal Courteney Cox are reportedly feuding. Cox is shilling yet another tv show, “Cougar Town,” despite the pitfall of her first attempt. After “Dirt” bombed despite involving Aniston, Courteney is calling her friend again for some help.
Per Digital Spy:
“The pilot meant the world to Courteney as she’s not only starring but is also an executive producer. She thought Jen’s star power would help sell the pilot as a series. Courteney’s crushed.”
It is also mentioned that Jen has been spending her free time with Elizabeth Banks instead of Cox. Either jealousy or just plain growth is coming between the two.
I say Aniston owes it Cox. She was there for the Brad Pitt saga and the John Mayer nuttery. She deserves some star powered help. So suck it up and pay your therapy fees Aniston.
