Jake Gyllenhaal In Court

Jake Gyllenhaal is just like the rest of us. Well, that is if the rest of us were incredibly good-looking and could crack open walnuts using only our abs.

Jake was spotted in an LA courthouse this week doing his civic duty as a prospective juror. The case, a misdemeanor battery case, is set to start later in the week.

According to US Magazine:

“While in the courtroom, Gyllenhaal was allowed to go through the juror questioning process known as voire dire in a private room.”

The rest of the peons had to complete their questioning in front of the courtroom. Gyllenhaal left for the day and is expected to return Wednesday to find out if he has been selected as a juror for the case. I wonder how many random skanks are reporting for jury duty this morning?

Note to the Dame: I hope you stop resorting to violence in Los Angeles in order to meet Gyllenhaal. I know it is only a misdemeanor, but it adds up over time.

Cops Find Dead Body at Paula Abdul’s Home

Sounds like someone’s liver couldn’t keep up with Drunky.

A body was found outside of Paula Abdul’s home last night inside a vehicle. A young woman who apparently is a stalker of Paula’s appears to have committed suicide outside the “American Idol” judge’s home. The current cause of death is said to be an overdose.

“Here’s what’s strange. LAPD got a call from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Dept. last night, saying a female body may be in a car on the street in question. It’s unclear how Ventura County deputies knew a body inside a car was miles away from its jurisdiction.”

The woman whose body was found by the anonymous call was at Paula’s house often. Police had been called several times to ask the stalker to vacate. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department has also confirmed that they had called the family of the young woman yesterday afternoon to inform them of their daughter’s “unnatural obsession” with Paula.

UPDATE: The girl really loves Paula. I mean loves her. Her license plate read “ABL LV” which is said to stand for “Abdul Lover.” It was a good job that Abdul was off filming her booze soaked carcass on “American Idol.”
