The model catfight over the cover of 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue has ended. Irina Shayk has nabbed the top honor. She follows in the footsteps of SI cover models Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Cheryl Tiegs, Heidi Klum, Elle MacPherson, Tyra Banks, Petra Nemcova, Marisa Miller. Shayk is a 25 year old Russian who is currently dating Cristiano Ronaldo. Last year Brooklyn Decker went topless for the cover.

Who knew? Well, apparently nobody knew! Soccer hottie Emporio Armani underwear model Cristiano Ronaldo is now the father of a baby boy, sharing the news Saturday in a statement posted on his Facebook page.
Per Facebook:
“It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. No further information will be provided on this subject and I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are.”
As for the mother, Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias is claiming that Ronaldo hired a surrogate mother in San Diego, during a vacation last year. According to the newspaper, Ronaldo went to the Algarve region of mainland Portugal to meet the baby as soon as Portugal were eliminated from the World Cup by Spain on June 29th. He reportedly waited until then to name his son, who’s name has not yet been released.
Surrogate?! I can’t understand why a guy who can hop in bed with just about any actress or model has a sudden desire to have a baby using a surrogate mother. Come on now, lets call a spade a spade here. This is probably some chick he hooked up with while in the states and unfortunately he ‘slipped one by the goalie’ (a shame he couldn’t have done more of that in the actual World Cup tourney this year.) But kudos to him for stepping up as a man and a father to take on his responsibilities!

Not according to TMZ. The media outlet claimes that Cristiano Ronaldo’s new girlfriend is a fellow Armani model, Irina Shayk.
Ronaldo stripped down to his man panties for the upcoming Armani underwear and jeans campaign. (Click HERE to see those ads.) Perhaps the bonded over their love of looking hot and Shayk was photographed entertaining the footballer on his yacht in early June. She has since been spotted supporting him during the World Cup.
Kim Kardashian was rumored to be hooking up with the soccer player while in Madrid in April. They were first spotted kissing and enjoying dinner at La Dorado before she followed him in her chauffeur driven car to his mansion. She spent 4 hours there before leaving.

Was the person who made this decision high as a kite? Italian fashion designer Armani says soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo will model underwear and jeans in a new worldwide advertising campaign, replacing current model David Beckham, in their spring-summer 2010 collection. *Blankly Stares* Yes, I can’t believe what my eyes are reading either… Beckham stripped down for Emporio Armani last year. He has also posed for the brand with his wife Victoria and the two currently head the Emporio Armani autumn/winter underwear campaign.

“This time it’s the turn of the international media’s favourite footballer; one that plays for Real Madrid, drinks champagne with Paris Hilton in Los Angeles and sails his boat around the Mediterranean,” concludes La Gazzeta.
Who’s idea of a joke was it to hire this greaseball? Ronaldo will be feature on billboards for Armani’s younger clothes section in all of Europe’s major cities as of February next year, with the advertising campaign will most likely taking place in Milan. This isn’t the fist time Ronaldo has replaced Beckham; he also replaced him in the United team in 2003 after Beckham signed for Real. But don’t feel bad for Beckham just yet — He is currently developing his own Beckham-branded men’s underwear line, hoping to launch by fall 2010, so his days of half naked billboards are far from over!

Come on, who didn’t see this one coming a mile away? Serial dater Paris Hilton has called it quits with her flavor of the month, Doug Reinhardt, after the pair reportedly had a huge blow up at a club, leaving Paris running out to leave in tears.
Per People:
“In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy,” a rep for Hilton says. “They remain friends and we ask that you please respect their privacy. Paris will not discuss the relationship further.”
This comes as quite a turn of events, as Paris and Doug were talking just 3 days ago about how much they were looking forward to their anniversary. As recently as April, Hilton also declared that she’d wed Reinhardt. Yeah honey, think its time to put that wedding gown back in the closet until the next guy shows up…. But wait! The next guy HAS shown up!! Not even 24 hours after Paris ended things with Doug, she’s already shacking up with a new man – Soccer star Cristian Ronaldo. Paris and sister Nicky Hilton hit up club MyHouse where Ronaldo was out having a good time with some friends, and proceeded to sit themselves down at their table. Didn’t take long for Hilton and Ronaldo to get comfortable around eachother, as its being reported that the duo couldn’t keep their hands off eachother!

After the club, Ronaldo left with the Hilton sisters to head back to Nicky’s place and was caught on camera leaving around 5am. Its no secret Paris has had her eye on the soccer stud for quite some time now, attempting to work her Hilton-Charm on him last July. Apparently then, Ronaldo had no interest in the sex-tape star. Wonder how long this will last….Given the pairs dating history, I give it a week.
