Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano Dating Thanks to Chris Jericho

Two reality stars whose names I had to google are hooking up. It’s Monday before noon post-spring break debauchery…so we are rolling with it.

Pia Toscano, who is the latest eliminated from ‘American Idol,’ and Mark Ballas, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro, are dating. You might be throwing some Who Cares? Shade, but for those who are eager to know about Pia’s conquest…continue on.

The DWTS soundstage is next to the A.I. stage and Pia has been ~~stalking~~ hoping to run into Mark. She has had a crush on the dance pro and current contestant, Chris Jericho, managed to help the two meet.

Sources (a.k.a. hobos paid in fried chicken) told People that Toscano and Ballas were spotted on a date the day after the Idol hopeful was eliminated. The couple spent Friday evening in each other’s company and looked “cozy.” They met at the Gulfstream restaurant in Century City for some nosh.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff Posed for Playboy, Now Possibly Fired ?!

‘Dancing With The Stars‘ takes pride in their “wholesome” show. Now one dancer may be getting to boot after Hugh Hefner announced on his website that she posed for a May edition of Playboy. Karina Smirnoff – who dances with “Karate Kid” Ralph Macchio on the hit show – supposedly posed for the May edition of Playboy according to Hefner’s Twitter where he called the shoot ‘unforgettable,’ and now the powers-to-be at ABC are less than thrilled. I guess Maksim Chmerkovskiy dropping Kirstie Alley doesn’t seem that bad now!

Per Celebrity Gossip:

An insider told press, “If Karina posed naked, she can kiss her dancing days goodbye. I hope for her sake that this isn’t true. ABC publicity department controls the image of this show with an iron fist. It’s a cash cow and they are not going to allow its reputation to be soiled by a dancer who wants to do Playboy.”

This seems a little drastic for the show being they invited Playboy model and Hef girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson, to dance on the show and she’s been in the magazine naked many times. Besides, from the D-listers they court to the skimpy costumes they wear, the whole thing isn’t exactly Disney on Ice. Smirnoff’s naked cha-cha will likely generate a fresh wave of new interest in the show, even if it’s only from sketchy dudes praying for a wardrobe malfunction.

However – stripping is one thing, but vote pandering with your vahjayjay is another. She is a current contestant and the mag will be out before the show ends. But given the popularity of her partner and their good scores this season, I’m sure they will keep the couple on the show until the magazine is about to come out anyway. Ratings trump all!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Drops Kirstie Alley on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ – VIDEO

Kirstie Alley has been named one of the front-runners on this season of ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ Girlfriend brought it week one and blew a lot of people’s minds, including mine. I was a bit skeptical about her abilities at first, but she has moves and a confidence about her that made her shine. But last night, Kirstie and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy ended up making a bit of a mistake during their routine – Maks dropped Kristie during their rumba routine to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow!” Could this mistake lead to her leaving the show this week? (The fall happens at 2:35 in the video if you want to see it. But in all honesty, Kirstie and Maks recovered well!)

Per People:

Falling during a routine is something that “never happened before,” Chmerkovskiy says. “If it did I certainly could camouflage it. I guess [my leg] got a Charlie horse. It just gave out.”

Everyone loves a good fall, but this one wasn’t spectacular. It was more a hiccup followed by Maks gently placing Kirstie on the ground. The incident caused the entire ballroom to gasp, but both got up right after – with Maks wincing in pain – and continued the routine. While receiving the judges opinions, Maks looked visibly upset knowing that his slip-up could potentially cost Kristie her spot on next week’s show. The judges were sympathetic, with judge Bruno Tonioli telling them, “You can’t keep good talent down. Once you got up it was better than ever,” and judge Carrie Ann Inaba saying that “sometimes tragedy leads to an amazingly beautiful moment.”

After the show, Kristie said that the idea of messing up on live television doesn’t seem so scary now that it has happened to her. No hard feelings from her, who called Maks a “a gladiator” in a tweet, and followed up with another post taking part of the blame: “Maks is too humble.. we all know it takes TWO to Tango..on our feet or on our asses.” The pair ended up scoring a respectable 21 out of 30 points from the judges.

She has a real knack for dancing, and kudos to Maksim for overcoming it and finishing strong. What a trooper! I think they deserve to be safe.

Chris Brown Performs on ‘Dancing With The Stars’; Rihanna Reunion Next?

After the whole ‘Good Morning America’ freak out, Chris Brown still performed live on last night’s ‘Dancing With the Stars‘. It had been rumored after what went down last week that his performance on DWTS would be cancelled. Truthfully I was all for him being cut from last night’s show, but executives decided to still allow Chris to perform. Hmmmm.. I bet that decision had something to do with boosting ratings!

There’s no debating it! Brown is super talented. The boy can sing and he has moves. He just really needs to get his anger under control before he does something stupid again. After the whole Rihanna incident in 2009 Chris’ career hit the crapper. Radio stations, MTV, etc all stopped playing his music. Finally it seemed that people were warming back up to Brown and beginning to forgive him for his past. Some people are upset about his behavior on GMA others believe he was provoked. Will he be making a return to GMA to sit back down with Robin Roberts, as offered?

Meanwhile, Brown‘s backstage temper tantrum might end up leading to his reunion with Rihanna. Insiders at ABC claim that Roberts is scheming to reconnect the two in a television event that’s sure to be ratings gold! ABC insiders are calling it a plan to simply “milk this event for everything it’s worth,” a televised meeting between the pop stars which would be moderated by Roberts. But what’s the likelihood of this actually happening?

Per National Post:

If any of this actually goes forward, it’s unclear as to who exactly will be sending ABC Brown’s so-called “talking points.” According to the New York Post‘s Page Six, Brown’s publicist, Tammy Brook, stopped representing the pop star following his GMA tantrum.

It would be interesting to see the two talk for the first time in two years. But considering the restraining order against Brown was lifted just last month and he is still exhibiting violent behavior – this is all too soon for Rihanna! Hopefully he can keep his nose clean and can attempt to redeem himself. It’s like 3 strikes you’re out and he already has two!

Chris Brown Invited Back to ‘Good Morning America’

Chris Brown is all over the news lately. Not for releasing his new CD ‘FAME,’ but for flipping out and breaking a window after his appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ yesterday. Chris sat down for an interview with Robin Roberts and that was the start of it all. Robin asked him about his new CD and then began asking about the Rihanna situation from 2009. Chris got nervous and you can tell he was getting upset as the interview went on. Afterwards, network reps said that the show’s hair and makeup staff called security after hearing “loud noises coming from Brown’s dressing room,” and that the producer who was threatened discovered that a thick glass from Brown’s dressing room window had been smashed. But despite his frightening behavior, GMA and Robin are interested in having him back.

Per E!:

“We extended the invitation to him and we sure hope he takes us up on it, because we’d love to have another chat with him,” she said.

Roberts was surprised by how Chris reacted because all of her questions were approved prior to the interview. Robin was on GMA earlier this morning to talk about what went down and said she wished Chris ‘all the best’ when she invited him to come back for another interview. ABC and GMA will not press charges for the broken window they said earlier today. That’s good news for Brown because he’s already on probation and must obey all laws.

Hmmm… No word yet if Chris will take her up on her offer.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” said that Brown is still scheduled to appear on the show next week as planned despite the barrage of phone calls, emails, and message-board forums begging the show to reconsider. Several DWTS cast members have allegedly told them they don’t want anything to do with Chris if he does indeed appear. He has shown he is violent and unpredictable as a guest on a TV show. ABC should definitely cancel.

Dancing With The Stars Recap: Kirstie Alley Wows While Others Fall Flat-VIDEO

Well Kittens, I sat down with a martini and my crushed ‘Karate Kid’ fantasy and watched ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last night.

After about an hour and half of half-ass attempts to strut around naked (I am talking to you, Romeo), Kirstie Alley’s over 40- year-old trunk of junk took to the floor with her pro-partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy to deliver, what the judges hailed as the best ‘Cha-Cha’ of the night.

Via US Weekly:

“I’m doing this as a challenge to see how far I can push myself physically and still live. My biggest challenge is to move quickly. If someone told me to haul ass, it would take two trips.”

Dubbed “G” for grandma by Chmerkovskiy, Alley put her much younger competitors to shame: including Disney actress Chelsea Kane and footballer Hines Ward.

Keeping her own, however, was former Hugh Hefner hoe turned professional baby mama, Kendra Wilkinson who tried to put her all her years as a club-bunny to use despite her partner, Louis van Amstel’s protest.

“I’m here to turn all those years of club dancing into elegant ballroom dancing. I’ve got moves for a white girl, let me tell you that.”

Watching Wilkinson shake her money maker in the studio audience was husband Hank Baskett and her former ~~sugar daddy~~ lover Hugh Hefner. The two, who were seated next to one another, cheered Wilkinson on throughout her performance.

To see which star gets the axe first (and my money is on Wendy Williams who looked like a stuffed drag queen), tune into ABC next Tuesday, March 29.

It’s that time again when “stars” whose career needs a reheat in the public microwave slip on enough sequins to make Johnny Weir swoon, dance for relevance.

ABC has confirmed some of the has-beens that will be doing the fox trot for that janky ball trophy on DWTS. Here is a rundown of the cast and why they are/were famous…

Derek Hough Leaving ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Bad news, ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ fans: Derek Hough won’t be on the upcoming spring season of the show, taking a hiatus during season 12.

Per People:

“I’m taking season 12 off,” three-time champ Derek Hough tells PEOPLE. The Dancing pro, 25, will be busy playing the lead role in the upcoming dance movie Cobu 3D, which is slated to film in New York and Toronto this spring.

Hough says he has already started training by working out in the gym and brushing up on his tap dancing skills. He also tells People he’s put on “about 10 lbs. of muscle” for the film, “which is a lot for me.” But he promises he’s not leaving the show for good.

“I will be making it back to Dancing with the Stars in the fall. I’m just taking a little break and taking this chance to grow and expand a little bit as an artist,” Hough says. “It’s like I told one of the producers on the show – I’ll come back with a whole new set of skills.”

The show thrived for the first 4 seasons without Hough, who didn’t officially join the cast until season 5 (in season 4 he appeared as a guest dance instructor). Only time will tell if “DWTS” will hurt without Hough.

Lindsay Lohan To Join ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Recently Lindsay Lohan approached her team of counselors and advisors at Betty Ford and requested permission to pursue an opportunity to join one of America’s biggest TV shows – ‘Dancing With The Stars.’. They approved and now it looks like the deal is being worked out!

Per Dishin’ The Dirt:

I can EXCLUSIVELY tell you that Lindsay Lohan will be on the next season installment of ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars.”

A source close to the presently rehabbed beauty reveals to me, “Lindsay says its a ‘no brainer’ and knows she has to prove herself and feels this is the best way to come back into the spotlight following Betty Ford.”

Although no contract is yet signed, I am told that is only a matter of days before all the exact details are worked out on paper.

It’s no secret that DWTS producers have been interested in Lindsay for a long time and now a source from Lohan’s camp confirms that Lindsay is very interested. Reportedly, her treatment team thinks it would be a perfect transition back to work for her where she would have a set schedule everyday, would be occupied, and would be very productive.

Was Bristol Palin Forced To Be On DWTS?

Margaret Cho, who was one of the first celebrities to be kicked off ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ says that Sarah Palin forced Bristol to dance!

Margaret Cho’s Blog:

“Why did Bristol do Dancing with the Stars? I heard from someone who really should know (really should seriously know the dirt really really) that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it.

Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she “owed” it to her to do DWTS so that “America would fall in love with her again” and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way.

Instead of being supposedly “handicapped” by the presence of her teen mom daughter, now Bristol is going to be an “asset” – a celebrity beloved for her dancing. I am sure the show wasn’t in on this (but who knows anything really).”

That’s quite the conspiracy theory! Cho then joked about her revelation bringing down the wrath of Sarah by saying that she is now scared she is “going to wake up with a decapitated moose head in my bed.”
