Michael Bolton Eliminated from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ – VIDEO

I will be spending the rest of the day listening to “When a Man Loves a Woman” in honor of the fallen Michael Bolton.

Bolton diva-ed out the night before and this time he didn’t have David Hasselhoff to make a bigger embarrassment of himself and was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars.” He and his partner tried to put together a bouncy jive but ended up getting the award for “the worst jive in 11 seasons” from Bruno. America agreed and he is out.

Now, I will have to go prevent my mother from getting out the shank stick and going Bruno hunting. Seriously. That man better sleep with the lights on and seriously consider putting a moat around his home because every woman over the age of 40 will be grabbing the nearest item easily transformed into a weapon and hunting him down.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ First Elimination

On Monday the crème de la crème of Z-listers showered body glitter and did The Dance of the Fameho. (All except Jennifer Grey who was fierce.) Last night the saddest of the stars hungry for relevancy went home.

SPOILERS AHOY

The worst dancers of the night were Mike Sorrentino (The Buttahface Situation on Jersey Shore) and the Hoff. Margaret Cho and Michael Bolton also got lower scores, but don’t forget this is more a popularity contest and my mother will single handedly vote enough to get him by every week.

So, David Hasselhoff packed up his grampy swerve and went home. He earned a terrible score for the judges and America agreed with Bruno who called the dance “a potpourri of insanity.” In case you missed his attempt at sexy click HERE to see a recap of the dances…

Bristol Palin Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Excuse me, did I miss the time she was actually a “star?” Despite being famous for, well – pretty much nothing except for the nasty baby-mama/daddy-drama going on between her and her ex Levi Johnston – Bristol Palin has joined the cast of the upcoming season of ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ set to premiere Sept. 20th with a cast that is said to also includes David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, ‘Jersey’s Shore’ The Situation, and Brandy.

And she claims that Levi is a fame-whore, being was upset with him for wanting to try and achieve fame? Pot? Kettle? Hello?

Per E! Online:

This will be Bristol Palin’s second gig with ABC, having guest starred last month on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It seems this teen mom may be taking a page from Melissa Rycroft’s book, using DWTS to rebound after her recent breakup (with Levi Johnston).

I thought they got the “stars” (cough) for this show from a list of has-been celebrities who want to re-energize their lagging careers. How does Palin fit this description? One has to BE someone before they are considered to be a “has-been.”

Other new names reported to be joining the cast of “DWTS” are former ‘Brady Bunch‘ mom Florence Henderson, ‘Dirty Dancing‘ star Jennifer Grey, ex-NBA star Rick Fox, former NFL star Kurt Warner, and comedienne Margaret Cho.

Sorry ABC, you just lost me. Casting fail!

David Hasselhoff Returns To ‘The Young & The Restless’

Talk about a blast from the past! American’s favorite drunk cheeseburger eater David Hasselhoff is set to reprise his role as Dr. William “Snapper” Foster, Jr. on CBS’s “The Young And The Restless” after a nearly 30-year hiatus.

Per EW:

“In 1976, Bill Bell, creator of America’s No. 1 soap opera, took a chance on a young and very green actor,” Hasselhoff said in a statement given exclusively to EW.com. “Playing Snapper in 850 shows during the six years I appeared molded my craft, my attitude and my work ethic. Being asked to come back to appear in several episodes gives me a chance to say thanks, as I have an amazing amount of respect and heartfelt emotion for Bill, his family and my time on Young and the Restless. I just hope I can remember all those lines.”

Hasselhoff will return to the “Y&R” set in May for what’s being called a “brief run,” with his episodes set to begin airing in mid-June. He first appeared on the daytime soap in 1975 and thrilled housewives daily until 1982 when Snapper supposedly left to accept a three-month fellowship in London to teach.

I smell desperation. Hopefully there is a rider in his contract for unlimited cheeseburgers to be delivered to him during the filming.

Hayley Hasselhoff Calls for Help for Drunk David

I am having visions of a shirtless Hoff and a cheeseburger, kittens.

It seems that David Hasselhoff extended the ‘America’s Got Talent’ finale after-party a little longer than he should have and, once again, his daughter Haylie Hasselhoff had to put the smack-down on her drunk dad.

Apparently the bender was so bad this time, the Hoff had to take a little trip to the local hospital.

Via TMZ:

“We’ve learned 17-year-old Hayley Hasselhoff — who was at home with David — called her mother Pamela, claiming David was extremely drunk. One of Pamela’s friends called 911, paramedics arrived at the family’s home in Encino and took him to the hospital.”

The Hoff’s people have released no statement yet but I am sure it will go something like this:

David Hasselhoff Suffers Alcohol Poisoning

‘Knight Rider’ actor and ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge David Hasselhoff was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon for alcohol poisoning.

The Hoff was discovered lying on the floor of his home by his 16 year-old daughter Hayley. He was barely conscious. No hamburger was in sight.

Hoff has had a problem hitting the bottle for years. Many of you remember his drunken, shirtless viral video his daughter made a few years. In that video, Hasselhoff tries to eat a burger while smashed and explains the importance of being sober to his child.

Via Radar:

“This time the vodka-guzzling ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge registered a staggering .39. alcohol level. Drunk driving in California is .08.”

Hopefully, Haselhoff gets help for his problem…or learns that benders have an ending point that don’t necessarily require a trip to the ER or crying on your living room floor while eating a burger.
