Kristen Bell Really, Really Loves Sloths – VIDEO

The mystery of Dax Shepard’s appeal to Bell has been solved. I kinda thought it might have been a deceptively huge bank account or a well endowed financial portfolio, but no. It’s all the art of birthday surprises.

Apparently, Kristen Bell isn’t aware of the fun at the bottom of every rum bottle because her heart goes into palpitations for sloths…sloths….as in the monkey/armadillo looking creature.

She shared a video clip of her reaction to a sloth showing up to hang out at her birthday party. Bell is happier than Santa Clause getting laid at Disneyland, but starts crying like she just heard Menudo broke up.

‘American Idol’ Debut Ratings Plummet

‘American Idol’ has lost its commanding hold on ratings. The premiere suffered a 24% drop compared to last year’s season opener.

The 11th season of Idol had the biggest year-over-year downfall. The Ryan Seacrest fueled show still won the night for Fox. It isn’t unexpected. The absence of the original judging panel, sans Randy Jackson, and the lure of the replacements gone, the show is the same mess reheated. According to EW, it peaked in 2007 and has seen a yearly decline since with only one influx of interest when Ellen DeGeneres briefly joined the panel.

New Music Friday – Greyson Chance

Greyson Chance has released the official music video for his latest single, “Hold On ‘Til the Night,” the title track from his debut album. The black and white video made its television debut on The Ellen Degeneres Show, where Greyson appeared as a special surprise guest to talk about the music video and its special message: encouraging kids to be themselves and speak their minds.

Ellen DeGeneres suffered chest pains during a meeting before filming her talk show. The issue started on Sunday night and grew into a “tightness” in her chest this morning. One of her staff members called 911 and the Fire Department arrived at the Warner Brothers lot to check out DeGeneres as a precautionary measure.

A female intruder was arrested for trespassing on the property of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Creepy, right? Wow, I hope Ellen packs the heat. The woman accused of illegally setting foot on the couple’s Beverly Hills property has been charged with a misdemeanor. TMZ is reporting that the intruder – Karen Sjoden – is facing one trespassing count for entering the couple’s property.

Karen Sjoden just pled not guilty to misdemeanor trespassing in an L.A. courtroom. During the hearing, prosecutors claimed she was carrying a list of celebrity names — and a rambling letter to Hilary Clinton — when a private security team took her into custody around 5 AM Thursday morning.

Their property is protected by a 24-hour security team that detected and detained the intruder until she was turned over to the custody of Beverly Hills police officers, who arrested her. She never made contact with DeGeneres or de Rossi. If convicted, Sjoden could spend six months in jail and pay as much as $1000 in fines.

This is further proof that no matter how many ant & roach traps you set out, some pests always manage to slip through. At least she didn’t have a gun, just a loose screw… Or two.
