Minka Kelly Named ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ by Esquire

Former “Friday Night Lights” actress and current Derek Jeter girlfriend Minka Kelly has been named ‘Esquire Magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive,’ taking the crown from Kate Beckinsale who was named last year’s most attractive star. Following in the footsteps of beauties ranging from former Jeter flame Jessica Biel to Halle Berry, Kelly appears in a sexy spread for the mag’s November issue and dishes on her upbringing.

Per Fancast:

Kelly, who turned the big 3-0 this year, tells Esquire it was “the most exciting birthday I think I’ve ever had. I’m so excited to be a woman. Done with the twenties. I’m confident — confident in my skin, and I’m cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself.”

Parts of her twenties that weren’t a pain include a starring role on a network-television drama, a high-profile romance with one of sports’ biggest stars and, well, her ability to compete for sexiest-of titles. Yeah, the twenties are so lame.

Johnny Depp Sexier Than Robert Pattinson?

Esquire Magazine has released their ‘Sexiest Stars’ of all time and topping the list for the males this year is not who you think.

It seems that the folks over at Empire have a thing for pirates and not vampires like the rest of the lust-filled world. Johnny Depp took the top spot leaving poor Robert Pattinson in the sloppy seconds position.

Calm down Twi-Hards!!! I know you’re launching your boycott of Esquire as we speak, but it’s OK. You’ll get your Sparklepants fill in four short weeks.

Honestly? Megan Fox over Angelina Jolie? Over Angela Lansbury for that matter? She’s made like three compeltely terrible movies. And Robert Downy Jr. over Brad Pitt? Of all time?!? Am I the only person who remembers what Iron Man looked like in the 1980′s?
