Channing Tatum Chippendale Stripper Photos and Video

Huzzah! This is what makes my morning without coffee tolerable. Channing Tatum has a naughty past a male stripper. HOT!

The “G.I. Joe” star was 18 when he danced with a Chippendales male revue called Male Encounter. It sounds a bit like a sideshow at the zoo and I am picturing men in cages being poked at by women trying to feed them beer nuts.

Anyway, Tatum went by the alias “Chan Crawford” and danced around in skimpy under wear while flexing his muscles for thongs of screaming women. The former owner of the revue said he was a bit apprehensive, but warmed up quickly.

Via Boy Culture Via Us:

“He was a bit shy at first, but her really knew how to work the stage. The women went crazy for him!”

This eventually led to him being “talent spotted” and put in Ricky Martin’s video for “She Bangs.” Of course there was a no nudity policy so he never aired out his tatum in public. He made at least $50 a night on his venture plus whatever tips he earned.

Don’t you just love a good stripper turned movie star story? It’s a bit like “Pretty Woman,” only with banana hammocks.

New G.I. Joe Posters – Photos

These posters are pretty slick if you ask me. Just posted at Joblo, the posters don’t really tell you too much about the movie, but I am certain the top one is of my pseudo-boyfriend Channing Tatum.

Now when I was growing up I don’t remember “G.I. Joe” being this slick. I remember all the ads for the toys and cartoon being gritty and ever-so masculine. This movie seems to be deviating from this pattern, and I don’t know yet whether it upsets me or not. In the end, if they stay true to the storyline I watched as a child, all will be good. This very well could be the next “Transformers“.

G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra” is coming out August 2009, and stars Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans (really??), Channing Tatum (yum!) and Sienna Miller. The plot centers on an elite squad of special operatives who take on an evil organization, led by a notorious arms dealer. As long as they cheesily work in the ‘real American hero’ line, we will be all good.
