Hollywood's Grand Dame of Gossip and Style
It’s not all gleeful within the cast of the TV show “Glee!” Cory Monteith who plays Finn on the hit show, admitted that he’s battled drug addictions in the past when he was a teenager and even had to do a rehab stint to get past it. He even said to Parade Magazine “I’m lucky to be alive.”
How do you mend a broken heart in Hollywood? You don’t… you just move on to the next one. Remember at the end of last year when we thought Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal were the cute new couple? That ended just as fast as their coffee date. Now, Taylor has been spotted with someone new and I believe this guy may actually have potential. Chord Overstreet, who plays Sam on ‘Glee‘, joined Swift on Thursday evening at a L.A. Kings hockey game – and now rumors of a relationship have kicked into high gear!
Per E!:
“They are dating,” confirms a source close to the country cutie. “It’s in the early stages so who knows, but they seem to be into each other.”
The couple also attended the Montblanc Cocktail Party at Soho House on Saturday night in West Hollywood, then they made their way to the William Morris Endeavor party at the Chateau Marmont. Basically, they spent the entire Oscars weekend hand-in-hand. At least, this time, she appears to be with someone who is a far better match for her than, say, skeezy John Mayer or potential closet case Gyllenhaal. If you are keeping score at home, this is the second Glee cast member associated with Swift. She briefly dated Cory Monteith (Finn) last year.

Oh whoa is me Gleeks!!!
It seems that those two or three of you out there who were blindsided by the break-up of characters Rachel and Finn on last week’s episode of ‘Glee’ (read all about that HERE), will have to keep sobbing. It appears the two will not reconcile anytime soon!

Hate to be the bearer of bad (worse?) news, but the fantabulous Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang) stopped by our studio a few days ago (story/video coming soon) and he told me that the teeny silver lining of the Finn and Rachel break up is that “at least we’ll get some Puckleberry.” Whether that means as friends, friends with benefits or more remains to be seen, but it certainly sounds as though Puck and Rachel may have something naughty in the works. As always, my shoulder is here for you to cry on!

There is tons of Rachel and Finn coming up on Glee, but unfortunately for you Finnchel fans, it’s all Rachel and Finn angst. (Sad trombone.) Trust us, in the grand scheme of TV things, going on a break and exchanging longing, lonely glances across the choir room is not the worst thing that could happen to a couple. As for the Christmas episode Rachel is headlining not one but two sad holiday songs: “Merry Christmas, Darling” and “Last Christmas,” so prepare to suffer through some juicy Finnchel angst before it comes time for the nearly inevitable Finnchel reconnection.
YES! See, I myself am all for the sleezey goodness that is Team Puckelberry! I can’t wait to see if the virgin queen Rachel, allows baby daddy bad-boy Puck to pluck her flower, if you know what I mean!
