AskMen.com has released the names of the winners of their Most Desirable Women poll. Usually when I hear the words “poll” and “women” my mind automatically goes to strippers. Alas, none of the ladies on the list are currently working the night shift at the Bill’s Boobie Bungalow.
Sofia Vergara should have won first place, but somehow readers where impressed by a ‘Gossip Girl.’ Sure. Why not?
After Leonardo DiCaprio re-posted his WANTED: BIKINI/LINGERIE MODELS WHO LIKE YACHTING, Blake Lively is back to riding Ryan Reynolds relevancy train. I have to give this ‘Gossip Girl’ credit. She won’t give up power couple thing. It’s the sign of smart trick.
Ryan has become a target for tabloids. Every rumor, report and insider type has him hooking up with every free agent female in Hollywood. Reynolds has been allegedly planning a secret wedding with Sandra Bullock, hooking up with Olivia Wilde and enjoying sex with an ex, Scarlett Johansson. So, in between Texas weddin’s, Radiohead concerts with the ex wifey and taking a turn on Miss Olivia’s Wilde ride, he is also entertaining Blake in his temporary Boston apartment and they are spending ample amounts of time together…

While his ‘Gossip Girl‘ co-stars were busy working the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night and poking fun at leaked naked pictures, Ed Westwick was allegedly getting drunk and finding himself some trouble, causing a ruckus in NYC with some of his friends.
Blake Lively has been making date me and further my career eyes at Leonardo DiCaprio ever since she hit the ESC button her relationship with Penn Badgley. While Christina Aguilera was passing out drunk in Jeremy Renner’s bed (click HERE for that fun…), Blake was trying to get her some Leo. At the time he was still dating Bar Refaeli, but the newly single DiCaprio is spending all his free time with the ‘Gossip Girl.’
‘Sex and The City‘ was a huge hit for HBO. It aired for 7 seasons and can now be seen all over your tv in re-runs. The hit show was even made it onto the big screen with two movies. I thought after the second movie that hit theaters last year, they’d throw in the towel since the actresses are getting up there in age and aren’t looking as youthful as they once did. But someone’s trying to squeeze every drop of profit out of the Sex and the City brand because there are rumblings of a 3rd movie in 2012, but Sarah Jessica Parker won’t be part of the cast. Neither will the rest of the original foursome. Instead this SATC movie would be a prequel to the SATC series on HBO. Last June rumors began circulating that SATC writer Candice Bushnell’s prequel ‘The Carrie Diaries‘ was going to be made into a movie. And rumor has it one of the ‘Gossip Girls‘ will be playing the young Carrie Bradshaw – Blake Lively is rumored to be playing the part of the high school aged Bradshaw.
Per MTV:
“There are no plans to bring Sarah Jessica Parker and the others girls back together in the old format. The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man.”
Lively’s rep has denied the rumors, but Blake Lively would be a great choice for the prequel to SATC. Her career has exploded the last few years thanks to Gossip Girl.

Thanks to her avant-garde on steroids style, Lady Gaga has nabbed the title of Best Magazine Cover Girl. The “Bad Romance” songstress has taken over as the face that sells. Her April Cosmo spread sold nearly 2 million issues while her machine gun bra nabbed the highest selling issue for Rolling Stone this year.

“According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, Gaga was the runaway hit at the newsstand in 2010 for monthly and biweekly magazines. The results don’t extend all the way through the end of the year, and they do vary (figures for Condé Nast titles go through November; Hearst titles through October). But it’s safe to say no celebrity will catch up in time to match Gaga’s strong and steady performance throughout the year.”
Rihanna placed second the stands. Her topless January issue of GQ was the second best selling issue while Seventeen enjoyed a top seller featuring the “Only Girl” singer.
Blake Lively placed higher than anticipated. The “Gossip Girl” enjoyed the spoils of being Allure’s best seller. However, she barely made a blip on Vogue sales. Anna Wintour dubbed her one of the best dressed, but she failed to drive sales. Esquire also found Blake to be a bust. Seems she best stick with her female fans.

Tony Romo and Candice Crawford are getting married. [Insert a joke about Jessica Simpson breathing a sigh of relief and reasserting her engagement ring purchase was indeed wise.]
Romo has given Candace the gift of a lifetime with him for her birthday. I didn’t think there was a worse/more narcissistic gift that John Mayer’s DVD birthday gift. I stand corrected. Candice, sister to ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford, was out with her family celebrating when Romo proposed.

Never underestimate the ho tricks of a ‘Gossip Girl.’ Blake Livley has moved on from Penn Badgley and trying to seek solace in the arms of Ryan Gosling. .

The premiere of “Blue Valentine” had Blake hurrying out of a Parisian Chanel shoot (for more on Livley’s Chanel campaign click HERE) to make a flight to New York. She left France in a hurry to be with Gosling. Upon her arrival to the after party, Blake made a beeline straight to him.
“The sparks began flying soon afterward. At one point, Gosling affectionately placed his hand on Blake’s knee while the actress gave him a smoldering look that’s usually reserved for Dan — or Nate, depending on the “Gossip Girl” episode we’re watching. Later in the evening, when Gosling rose from his seat, Lively jumped up after him and grabbed the actor’s hand. Whatever she whispered to him next prompted the actor to sit back down.”
The witnesses also mentioned that Harvey Weinstein, whose company is behind the film, had to ask Ryan to mingle with other guests and circulate. This is key as Gosling’s performance is already being attached to the words: Oscar Nomination. Other hopefuls have already been campaigning for awhile.
After making a few rounds the attempted to make stealthy separate exits. It failed as Ryan first left and Blake trotted behind just a few minutes later. They were then spotted eating at the Standard Grill with two other friends.
