Jay-Z Reveals Beyonce Had Miscarriage

Beyonce’s baby birthin’ has dominated the media since Blue Ivy Carter was unhooked from B’s belly. Jay and the ‘Countdown’ singer haven’t exactly kept it quiet. Between parents of newborns staying in the same hospital revealing that the couple’s security team pulled a Gandalf and said YOU SHALL NOT PASS while Jay used the hallway and the name mix up that Gwyneth Paltrow had to clear up, you’d think it would be enough.

It’s not. Blue Ivy has a soundtrack now.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Trial Separation ?!

In a blind item revelation, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reportedly attempted a trial separation. During his last tour, Chris was free to do what and who he wanted. Reps will throw a NUH-UH! at the rumor and it will go quietly into the night, but sources say they attempted the separation and kept it as quiet as possible to keep their kids blissfully unaware of a possible permanent split.

Gwyneth Paltrow Credited For ‘Saving a Life’ on 9/11

Gwyneth Paltrow saved a life on 9/11, and even if she’s only finding out about it ten years later, she’s embracing it like her precious Oscar. Lara Lundstrom Clarke recently decided to share her story from that day, which she calls her “own Sliding Doors moment.” Clarke explains that on the morning of September 11th, 2001, she was on her way to work at Baseline Financial Services, on the 77th floor of Tower 2. Rushing to the 1/9 train, she jaywalked across 7th Avenue to the Christopher Street station but stopped when a Mercedes came barreling towards her.

Gwyneth Paltrow Topless in Vanity Fair

Gwyneth Paltrow flips my bitch switch. It’s slightly paradoxical due to the fact that I adore Blythe Danner and everyone seems to think that she can sing magical notes of awesomeness on ‘Glee.’ Perhaps it’s to constant looks of YEAH,IMJUDGINGYOU and telling Ross the intern he is a fatty.

Academy of Country Music Awards 2011 Winners and Performances – PICS and VIDEOS

Fans and industry members voted Taylor Swift as the Academy of Country Music’s entertainer of the year at Sunday night’s 46th annual ACM Awards, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, while televised on CBS. Swift played her new single, “Mean,” the sharp-tongued response to some of her haters, playing on a fake backwoods front porch with accompaniment from an old-style string band with fiddle, mandolin, acoustic guitar and a six-string banjo.

Per People:

“For me, with the entertainer of the year award, I see the face of Shania [Twain] and Garth [Brooks] and my heroes,” she told PEOPLE after snagging the honor. “To be among them – it just means so much.”

Lady Antebellum also took major ACM awards with top vocal group and album of the year for the multiplatinum song “Need You Now.” The Band Perry, a bluegrass-rooted family trio, was voted in as overall best new artist over best new solo artist winner Eric Church.

For his part, Brad Paisley seemed genuinely surprised when he won best male vocalist over Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Keith Urban. In the moments after the announcement he seemed taken aback by being named as country’s top male voice, as if the award was too much. (Paisley opened the show with “Old Alabama,” a song that found him borrowing lines from Alabama’s “Mountain Music.”)

“I am honestly shocked. This is way too many of these for me,” he said of his fifth consecutive trophy in the category. “I don’t want to know who got paid what,” he quipped, quickly adding, “No, it’s all very fair.”

Award shows tend to be as much about the performances as the actual awards — or even more so. The ACM awards pushed the envelope more than most… at the 45-minute mark there had been seven songs without a single award being handed out. Hoping a genre-crossing appeal will improve ratings and possibly expose non-country fans to the music, producers paired Rihanna with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles for a performance of Rihanna’s latest single, “California King Bed.” While the two had obvious chemistry, their voices didn’t blend so well.

The crowd at the MGM arena jumped to its feet when Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler joined Carrie Underwood for a rendition of her heavy rock tune “Undo It” and Aerosmith’s classic “Walk This Way.” But when Tyler sang, “So I gave her just a little kiss, like this,” she pulled away at the last second and grinned.

The show also teamed veteran singer-songwriter James Taylor with the Zac Brown Band for a performance segment and lined up Ryan Seacrest, actress Reese Witherspoon and “Twilight” actor Robert Pattinson to be among the award presenters. Miranda Lambert made the most trips to the podium, earning four awards last night, honored as best female vocalist, and her hit single “The House That Built Me” was named both single and song of the year. The song snagged video of the year as well.

Entertainer of the year nominee Aldean even worked a couple of country rap interludes into his “Dirt Road Anthem.” Among the awards handed out before Sunday’s telecast, Reba McEntire was honored for career achievement and Swift collected the Jim Reeves International Award, which recognizes country performers who spread the music worldwide. The Tex Ritter Award that goes to movies that emphasize country music went to the Gwyneth Paltrow starring “Country Strong.” Garth Brooks took another ACM Award, even though he released no new recordings during the eligibility period, as one of two recipients of the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award, which also was given to Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers.

McEntire hosted the show for the 13th time, bringing Blake Shelton on to co-host with her. Much of the pair’s banter during the show centered on Shelton learning to do the job, which he handled for the most part with ease and humor, while taking a jab at Miley Cyrus.

“Eric Church has a big hit this year with ‘Smoke a Little Smoke,’” Shelton, 34, told the audience. His punch line? “I heard it was about Miley Cyrus.”

Shelton also poked fun at Swift’s breakup with Jake Gyllenhaal, and made low blows to LeAnn Rimes’ marriage issues. However, a Charlie Sheen joke did sneak its way in there eventually when Blake said that the MGM Grand was so big it would take Sheen forever to trash it. He then noted that since that statement was “not a joke,” he didn’t break the “no Charlie Sheen” rule that was playfully put into effect at the beginning of the ceremony.

Oscars 2011 Fashion: Best and Worst Dressed – PHOTOS

The Academy Awards is the highlight of awards season. A celeb’s garb at the Oscars can make or break their fashion icon status in just one night. Sure, winning that naked gold little man is what the night’s supposed to be about, but even if you loose at least you look damn good. Here are the Fashion Winners for the night… (You can click HERE for the 2011 Oscars Winners List…)

Mila Kunis – She wore an airy lavender lace gown that hugged her body in all the right places. Elie Saa created this dress that was easily one of my favorites and will no doubt be on several best dressed lists.

Jennifer Hudson looked amazing in her Versace. Camera and tv hues affected just about every red color palate that walked the carpet. I believe Hudson’s gown was a tangerine masterpiece. I typically avoid any color in the orange family, but this was by far one of the best dresses on the red carpet. She will be fighting Kunis for the place as Best Dressed. It’s a tough call.

Gwyneth Paltrow – As much as the mere mention of GOOP sends my eyes rolling followed by exasperated sighs, Paltrow’s look was refreshing in the sea of Bumpit filled updos and gowns with trains. Her metallic Calvin Klein was modern. (The fact that her mother is Blythe Danner helped.)

Amy Adams will be present on most best dressed lists with her gorgeous L’Wren Scott dress. The navy blue against her hair made her pop on the carpet and drew your eyes.

Honorable Mentions…

Michelle Williams‘ pearly Chanel dress worked wonders with her platinum super short locks without washing her out.

Natalie Portman wore a purple/wine colored gown that downplayed her growing baby bump but still looked chic. The Rodarte creation will probably find it’s way to several best dressed lists.

Halle Berry chose a champagne toned Marchesa dress that will also make it’s way to many best dressed lists.

Sandra Bullock embraced the red dress trend that was a popular choice this year. Her Vera Wang gown was beautiful, but didn’t outshine her competition.

Penelope Cruz‘s dress put me on the fence. I love that she is proud of her post baby figure and went with such a bold choice, but this flaming red gown looks more like an ice dancer’s costume. Regardless, she still looked fantastic.

Reese Witherspoon was channeling Julia Roberts simple black Valentino number from a few years back, but her dress in comparison to the aforementioned eye-catching garbs looked boring.

On the Fence…

I had to add a place for Cate Blanchett. I adore her and her fearless sense of style, but this Givenchy gown has qualities I love and hate. The front has too much of a messy bib quality, but the back has playful and skin revealing structure. The pale pink/purple hue is a gorgeous color on her, but the fake sleeves are such a head smacker. You will find her on both best and worst dressed lists today as many others will be split between worshiping it’s risky integrity and hating on it due to the odd nature. Yet, there is still something about it I love.

Oh Honey, No…

Nicole Kidman is a statuesque beauty that towers over everyone on the carpet. So why she gave herself a kimono battleship hip look is beyond me. It covered her lovely figure and looked unpolished. Dior is typically one of my favorites and never as safe as say…Calvin Klein…but this had to send Tim Gunn’s tender fashion sense into fits.

Scarlett Johansson wore a carpet clashing red/magenta hue. First mistake. Pair that with the lace and the ill fit around her chest and we have a rejected Victoria Secret design.

Melissa Leo‘s Marc Bouwer gown will also be a repeat on the worst dressed. It was an Elvis meets Star Wars. Never a good fashion marriage.

Glee Cast Apologizes To Lindsay Lohan

“We’re Soooorrrrryyy!!!!”

Remember the episode Gwyneth Paltrow guest starred on ‘Glee‘? Remember how they made fun of Lindsay Lohan in which Paltrow said “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?… How many times has Lindsay Lohan gone to rehab?” Well, small world… the cast of Glee bumped into Lindsay at a restaurant in L.A. this weekend.

Per NY Post:

The cast reportedly told the “Mean Girls” star they were sorry for mocking her multiple trips to rehab for dug addiction on the show and did not intend to hurt her feelings. Lohan accepted their apology and chatted away with actor Chris Colfer, 20, who plays Kurt Hummel on the show, who was eager to meet her.

So does this mean that Paltrow will refrain from the Lohan jokes when she returns to Glee later this season? But that was the funniest part! Why are they apologizing? For the past few years Lohan has made herself a walking joke. If she’s going to get worked up about getting parodied maybe she needs to leave the business.
