Halle Berry asked the courts to allow her and her young daughter to move to France with her new fiance Oliver Martinez. One reason for the move is due to the “Hollywood Stalker Robert Hoskins” sending her multiple death threats!
The custody battle between Halle Berry and baby-daddy Gabriel Aubry is not working out the way she had hoped. Berry had petitioned the court to dissolve the joint custody agreement with her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, and make her the sole custodian of their three-year-old daughter Nahla. The request was made after a nanny for Nahla accused Aubry of pushing her while the child was in her arms. In response, Aubry asked the judge to issue a restraining order against the nanny, claiming she is making up these accusations in order to aid Berry in their custody dispute.
Well, the the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services isn’t dissolving rights just yet. But they are recommending that Nahla seek professional counseling, and that her parents engage in parenting classes together.
I think I may be blinded by the pretty factor Gabriel Aubry exudes even when he wears knitted hats. So, lets muse the latest crazy that is coming from Halle Berry’s Smear Campaign. She and Gabe were having a battle for their BB, Nahla. Things cooled down and the hallowed out volcano Halle was hiding in was quiet. Enter the nanny.
Yes, Halle Berry is 45 and has a body that most 20-somethings would tolerate Dr. Robert Rey’s display of pre-surgery dance fighting moves in order to emulate through the miracle of silicone and lipo.
This week’s tabloids can’t get enough of Jennifer Lopez’s apparent breakup drama with Marc Anthony. “Us Weekly” says Marc is “seething with jealousy” now that J.Lo has reclaimed her single status by, among other things, “bonding” with her “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” co-star Rodrigo Santoro.
Yours truly was lucky enough to be invited to the taping of two of Oprah’s last shows. (The final episode was taped yesterday and airs today.) Thanks to Dove, I was able to take part in history making tv.
I sat in the audience that was at least 20,000 strong at Chicago’s United Center. Oprah’s Surprise Spectacular was injected with a slew of celebrity pals that all droned on about how fabulous O is and how they have touched her life.
Where else can you see Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Madonna, Dakota Fanning, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce, Katie Holmes, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Aretha Franklin, Maya Angelou, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder, Maria Shriver and Alicia Keys all in one place?
Thing honest thing is…this was a once in a lifetime thing. Some people would trade an organ for tickets to two of the final episodes Oprah that started as a talk show and grew into an empire.
As for the real factor…here is my honest view of what happened when the cameras weren’t rolling.
The Academy Awards is the highlight of awards season. A celeb’s garb at the Oscars can make or break their fashion icon status in just one night. Sure, winning that naked gold little man is what the night’s supposed to be about, but even if you loose at least you look damn good. Here are the Fashion Winners for the night… (You can click HERE for the 2011 Oscars Winners List…)
Mila Kunis – She wore an airy lavender lace gown that hugged her body in all the right places. Elie Saa created this dress that was easily one of my favorites and will no doubt be on several best dressed lists.
Jennifer Hudson looked amazing in her Versace. Camera and tv hues affected just about every red color palate that walked the carpet. I believe Hudson’s gown was a tangerine masterpiece. I typically avoid any color in the orange family, but this was by far one of the best dresses on the red carpet. She will be fighting Kunis for the place as Best Dressed. It’s a tough call.
Gwyneth Paltrow – As much as the mere mention of GOOP sends my eyes rolling followed by exasperated sighs, Paltrow’s look was refreshing in the sea of Bumpit filled updos and gowns with trains. Her metallic Calvin Klein was modern. (The fact that her mother is Blythe Danner helped.)
Amy Adams will be present on most best dressed lists with her gorgeous L’Wren Scott dress. The navy blue against her hair made her pop on the carpet and drew your eyes.
Honorable Mentions…
Michelle Williams‘ pearly Chanel dress worked wonders with her platinum super short locks without washing her out.
Natalie Portman wore a purple/wine colored gown that downplayed her growing baby bump but still looked chic. The Rodarte creation will probably find it’s way to several best dressed lists.
Halle Berry chose a champagne toned Marchesa dress that will also make it’s way to many best dressed lists.
Sandra Bullock embraced the red dress trend that was a popular choice this year. Her Vera Wang gown was beautiful, but didn’t outshine her competition.
Penelope Cruz‘s dress put me on the fence. I love that she is proud of her post baby figure and went with such a bold choice, but this flaming red gown looks more like an ice dancer’s costume. Regardless, she still looked fantastic.
Reese Witherspoon was channeling Julia Roberts simple black Valentino number from a few years back, but her dress in comparison to the aforementioned eye-catching garbs looked boring.
On the Fence…
I had to add a place for Cate Blanchett. I adore her and her fearless sense of style, but this Givenchy gown has qualities I love and hate. The front has too much of a messy bib quality, but the back has playful and skin revealing structure. The pale pink/purple hue is a gorgeous color on her, but the fake sleeves are such a head smacker. You will find her on both best and worst dressed lists today as many others will be split between worshiping it’s risky integrity and hating on it due to the odd nature. Yet, there is still something about it I love.
Oh Honey, No…
Nicole Kidman is a statuesque beauty that towers over everyone on the carpet. So why she gave herself a kimono battleship hip look is beyond me. It covered her lovely figure and looked unpolished. Dior is typically one of my favorites and never as safe as say…Calvin Klein…but this had to send Tim Gunn’s tender fashion sense into fits.
Scarlett Johansson wore a carpet clashing red/magenta hue. First mistake. Pair that with the lace and the ill fit around her chest and we have a rejected Victoria Secret design.
Melissa Leo‘s Marc Bouwer gown will also be a repeat on the worst dressed. It was an Elvis meets Star Wars. Never a good fashion marriage.

It’s so much fun when pretty people get ugly!
And that’s exactly what Halle Berry and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry are doing when it comes to custody of the two’s daughter, Nahla.
As the Dame herself reported in Mid-January, Aubry filed for joint custody of Nahla while a “source” claimed that Berry was going bat-shizz crazy trying to control every aspect of the hot model’s life outside of their child.
Now, Berry is fighting back, claiming that she worries about the safety of Nahla when she’s with her father. On the flip-side, Aubry is fed up that Berry’s movie career takes his daughter away from him for extended periods of time.
Via TMZ:
“Aubry has complained when Halle leaves town it interferes with his ability to be a father. Accommodations were made for Gabriel to accompany Halle and Nahla to London last August after he complained.
Sources say the couple has never gone to court to establish custody and visitation rights. They have tried working it out between themselves, but the situation has now become impossible.”
This is merely the beginning of what looks to be a bitterly beautiful battle between a couple of hotties.

Former “Friday Night Lights” actress and current Derek Jeter girlfriend Minka Kelly has been named ‘Esquire Magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive,’ taking the crown from Kate Beckinsale who was named last year’s most attractive star. Following in the footsteps of beauties ranging from former Jeter flame Jessica Biel to Halle Berry, Kelly appears in a sexy spread for the mag’s November issue and dishes on her upbringing.
Per Fancast:
Kelly, who turned the big 3-0 this year, tells Esquire it was “the most exciting birthday I think I’ve ever had. I’m so excited to be a woman. Done with the twenties. I’m confident — confident in my skin, and I’m cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself.”
Parts of her twenties that weren’t a pain include a starring role on a network-television drama, a high-profile romance with one of sports’ biggest stars and, well, her ability to compete for sexiest-of titles. Yeah, the twenties are so lame.

Halle Berry has officially moved on from her other hot boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey with hot French actor Olivier Martinez. According to rumor, he didn’t make enough bank to suit her. (Click HERE for that story.) The new couple have been spotted making out all over Paris while they film the movie “Dark Tide.” They have been sightseeing all over the city of love, and have been locking lips as they go.
Per People:
“It was the classic ‘I’m going to kiss you here in a dark corner’ move. And she was waiting to be kissed. They had their arms around each other as they walked. They were both smiling and laughing Their body language was very flirtatious. They definitely seemed like a couple – absolutely looked like more than friends.”
After dinner at Casa Bini, Olivier took her on a private tour of the St. Germain district as the sun set. On their way back to his digs, the couple “stopped along a narrow street and kissed in a doorway for two minutes.”
Aw, nothing says love like dry humping in someone’s doorway. What makes this extra fun is the rumor that Halle is still seeing Gabriel. Don’t get too excited. They are still seeing each other but in a platonic way. The former couple is keeping it nice for their daughter Nahla and spend ample amounts of time together to give her a family feel which included a trip to Disney. Good for them!
