Mitchel Musso and Walmart are proud to announce the highly anticipated release of Mitchel’s second album, ‘Brainstorm.’ Through this exclusive deal, the CD will be available at all Walmart stores nationwide, on Monday, November 22nd. It is currently available for pre-order here. For this album, Mitchel collaborated with a number of multi-platinum and award winning producers, including PJ Bianco (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato), Michael “Smidi” Smith (Ke$ha, One Republic, Pussy Cat Dolls), Steve Diamond (Orianthi), and Robbie Nevil (Destiny’s Child). The album consists of eight original songs which have all been written and co-written by Mitchel.
The first single from Brainstorm is “Get Away,” which was produced by Bianco, the writer/producer for the Jonas Brothers’ smash hit, “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” and producer behind hits for Nick Jonas. In 2009, Mitchel emerged as one of the fastest rising new music stars and released his self titled first album, which debuted in the top 20 on the coveted Billboard charts. Mitchel’s first single “Hey” off his first album shot to #8 on the iTunes Pop chart. “Hey” was one of his six singles to hit the Top 10 on Radio Disney’s Top 30 chart. He has shared the stage with some of today’s biggest names, including Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus, and was named by MTV as one of 2009’s top Rookie artists to watch.
As one of the most popular actors and musicians of the new generation, he is currently starring in Disney’s hit series, “Pair of Kings.” He previously starred along Miley Cyrus in Disney Channel’s Emmy nominated series, “Hannah Montana.” He can also be heard in Disney Channel’s hit Emmy nominated, animated series “Phineas & Ferb.”
