Julianne Moore and company have started rolling film on the HBO tv movie, “Game Change.” Julianne was cast as the moose hunting, Russia peeking Sarah Palin. Woody Harrelson took the role of McCain’s Senior Campaign Advisor, Ed Harris is playing John McCain and Melissa Farman drew the short straw and is Bristol.

Julianne Moore to Play Sarah Palin in HBO Film

Julianne Moore will be taking the reins of playing Sarah Palin from Tina Fey. The red head will be going brunette and rock a Bumpit for a new movie.

HBO is cranking out at film about the 2008 Presidential election entitled, “Game Change.” The movie is based off the book with the same title penned by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. According to Deadline: Jay Roach, who also helmed the ‘Meet the Parents’ films along with ‘Recount’ (a film about the 2000 election snafu in Florida), will be directing the film. ‘Recount’ won a Golden Globe and several Emmy awards.

So the question is whether or not the film version of the book will be more of an attack on Palin or stick to its premise and portray her as a supporting cast member versus the focus. Moore, who has multiple Oscar noms under her belt, was cast first and she is attached to liberal views. So your guess is as good as mine. The rest of the cast to join her should be interesting.

Another Sex And The City Movie – With Blake Lively ?!?

‘Sex and The City‘ was a huge hit for HBO. It aired for 7 seasons and can now be seen all over your tv in re-runs. The hit show was even made it onto the big screen with two movies. I thought after the second movie that hit theaters last year, they’d throw in the towel since the actresses are getting up there in age and aren’t looking as youthful as they once did. But someone’s trying to squeeze every drop of profit out of the Sex and the City brand because there are rumblings of a 3rd movie in 2012, but Sarah Jessica Parker won’t be part of the cast. Neither will the rest of the original foursome. Instead this SATC movie would be a prequel to the SATC series on HBO. Last June rumors began circulating that SATC writer Candice Bushnell’s prequel ‘The Carrie Diaries‘ was going to be made into a movie. And rumor has it one of the ‘Gossip Girls‘ will be playing the young Carrie Bradshaw – Blake Lively is rumored to be playing the part of the high school aged Bradshaw.

Per MTV:

“There are no plans to bring Sarah Jessica Parker and the others girls back together in the old format. The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man.”

Lively’s rep has denied the rumors, but Blake Lively would be a great choice for the prequel to SATC. Her career has exploded the last few years thanks to Gossip Girl.

New Music Friday – Sia

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, to use the name her musician parents gave her, already has a staggering track record. If her name itself isn’t familiar to millions, her voice undoubtedly is. In 2000, the Adelaide born singer scored a bolt from the blue Top 10 hit with her debut single “Taken For Granted.” Her debut album, “Healing Is Difficult,” arrived to similar cries of ´the next big R&B thing’. Then, to cap it all, she added her jazzy slurs to two tracks on “Zero 7’s” ‘Simple Things‘ album. She has written songs with her bassist Sam Dixon and Christina Aguilera for Christina’s forthcoming album. Sia confirmed on her website’s blog to have created four “beautiful” songs and calls Aguilera her “best friend.” The album is set for a Spring 2010 release, and includes collaborations with M.I.A., Santigold, and Le Tigre.

Her 2003 CD “Colour the Small One” spawned the singles “Breathe Me” and “Where I Belong“. In 2005, “Breathe Me” was beginning to receive international notice with appearances on the series finale of HBO’s “Six Feet Under” and the broadcast of the 2006 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The song is currently being used as the backing music in the tv spots for the movie “Remember Me” starring Robert Pattinson, out in theaters today. You can listen to the song above.

New Music Friday (A Wee Bit Early!) – Carney

The brothers Carney, Reeve and Zane, form the hard-riffing, blues-singing core of the rock ‘n roll band, Carney. Carney’s debut music video for “Love Me Chase Me” follows the life & death of a character named Mr. Green. Evan Rachel Wood guest stars in the video opposite Reeve Carney, Broadways next Spiderman. She is also starring in the upcoming “Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark” Broadway Production, playing Peter Parker’s love interest Mary Jane Watson. The video was shot on the set of HBO’s “Carnivale” in the California desert.

“Love Me Chase Me” is available now on iTunes. Their final L.A. area show of the year is this Saturday, November 28th at the El Rey Theatre – Tickets can be purchased here.

Robert Pattinson is a “Pussy” According to Stephen Moyer

Who is Stephen Moyer? Well, if you’re a Twi-Hard he’s the next hit on your list. For those over 30 out there, you likely know Moyer as vampire Bill on the HBO series, “True Blood”.

In a recent interview, Moyer was asked his feelings about beloved “Twilight” vampire and my personal sex-slave, Robert Pattinson.

Via Oh No They Didn’t:

“He’s a pussy! He’s the Slim-Fast, Diet Coke of vampires.”

I don’t quite think Moyer knows what he is getting himself into with that statement. Any second now, a mini-van full of chicks ranging in age from 14 to 60 will descend upon him with body glitter-claws drawn.

Let us not worry too much about Sparklepants. His abs may be fake, but that’s not stopping him from getting his slut on while shooting his new flick “Remember Me” in NYC.
