In case you missed it, the 2012 People’s Choice Awards – hosted by ‘Big Bang Theory’s’ Kaley Cuoco – aired last night, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. ‘Vampire Diaries’ Original Television Soundtrack and Season 1 DVD Set GIVEAWAY!!

Original Television Soundtrack: The Vampire Diaries is out today, and fans can get a taste of the first single now in a new video featuring footage from the show. “Obsession,” the first international single from up-and-coming pop artist Sky Ferreria, is the lead track off the the soundtrack which features a mix of exclusive tracks unavailable elsewhere—including songs by Smashing Pumpkins and Gorillaz—plus favorites from season one of the hit TV show, including “Sleep Alone” by Bat for Lashes and “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Stars Candice Accola and Steven R. McQueen Caught Making Out – PHOTOS

‘Vampire Diaries‘ fans are just going to love this!! Candice Accola and Steven R. McQueen, who play ex-mega-bitch Caroline and screwed-up outsider Jeremy on CW’s hit show, were spotted making out at the Chi Chi Club on Catalina Island, CA, last week.

Per JJB:

The two looked like they couldn’t keep their hands off each other in these exclusive photos from the night. Candice also took the mic to sing some karaoke at the bar El Galleon — her song choice? “Take Another Little Piece Of My Heart” by Dusty Springfield — between their hands-on liplocks.

Random, and quite interesting, given the fact that Candice was seriously involved with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields and I never heard anything about a breakup although Tyler recently hinted in various statements that he was cheated on. Steven and ex-girlfriend Chelsea Staub recently rekindled their relationship, and were starting to get serious again, even appearing at a bunch of events as a couple.

Scandalous! But I’m still crossing my fingers on a Nina Dobrev/Ian Somerhalder hook-up!

‘The Vampire Diaires’ Ian Somerhalder To Star In ‘Cradlewood’

Ian Somerhalder, currently starring as the dark & mysterious Damon Salvatore in “The Vampire Diaries,” hot enough to give Robert Pattinson a run for hottest vampire, has signed on to star in “Cradlewood,” a romantic gothic fairy tale set in Boston. Somerhalder will play the son of an old Boston blue-blood family, the heir to a fortune, who’s dating an Australian girl. A family legend of his suggests that the family fortunes are tied up with a demon, and that a curse means that every time a boy is born into the family, his father dies. When he begins to experience strange things at the same time he starts suspecting his girlfriend is pregnant, he begins to worry that it’s not just an old wives’ tale.

“Cradlewood” is based on original story by Harry Weinmann. Emma Lung will play Somerhalders’ girlfriend in the movie. The script was written by Stephen Sewell and John Paul Chapple, and will be produced by Michel Shane and David Redman.

Per Hollywood Reporter:

“We see this is as almost like an American-style ‘Pan’s Labyrinth‘ in look and feel,” Shane said. “It’s a perfect segue for the kids who have outgrown ‘Twilight‘ but want something romantic and scary. Our monster will be quite terrifying; she is sexually attractive and monstrous at the same time.”

“Cradlewood” is scheduled to start shooting in Melbourne, Australia in April, during Somerhalders’ hiatus from “The Vampire Diaries.” It’s an interesting plot, although I’m struggling a little to see were the “romance” is at this point. Oh well, do we really care? I mean, its Ian-freakin’-Somerhalder! His lines could consist of nothing more than reading the nutritional facts off the side of a Planters Peanuts jar and I’d pay the price of admission, repeatedly, to see his sexiness sizzle on screen!

Jackson Rathbone 100 Monkeys Performance-Video and Photos

Those ‘Twilight’ kids sure do spend a lot of time together. WTF? Are they trying to replace the Brat Pack? Sorry, Nikki Reed will never come close to Molly Ringwald, or even Ally Sheedy.

So here they are, in Vancouver last night at a 100 Monkeys show. In case you aren’t female or in case you don’t live within a 100 mile radius of one, Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale/Cullen) is the lead guitarist and singer of the band.

Nearly the entire cast came out to listen to Rathbone and his band including everyone’s favorite ‘we’re not a lesbian couple’ couple, Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart. They can be seen in the video in the front row. At first, I was pretty sure Nikki was having a seizure, turns out that is what she calls dancing. Feel the beat, girl! I have been to many a ‘White Girl Dance Party’ myself. KStew was more subdued and opted for taking pictures of Rathbone as he played. FYI, the paps have way better cameras than that. You should really just invest in some of those pictures.

Others in attendance were Taylor Lautner (anyone else wondering how the 17 year-old got in?), Peter Facinelli, Kellen Lutz, and Ashley Greene who apparently spent her time there playing touch my hynie with Lost’s Ian Somerhalder. Oh! Me likes! It’s like my two favorite things in the world are merging: ‘Lost’ and the ‘Twilight Saga’. Somerhalder is in Vancouver shooting the new series ‘The Vampire Diaries’. I guess fictitious vampires dig Canada, eh?

Notably absent was Robert Pattinson. I don’t think he’s so much the dancing/pose for pictures in a crowded bar full of Twi-hards type.

What do we think of Rathbone’s singing and playing? He’s pretty decent, though the audio is poor. When you’re that pretty, it really doesn’t matter though, does it?
