Mel Gibson Ordered to Pay in Back Child Support

The Incredible Hulk of BJ’s is going to have to pay up. Mel Gibson was ordered to pay just over $60,000 in child support.

Oksana Grigorieva and Mel went to court to hammer out the details of how much Grigorwhateva deserved in support of their daughter, Lucia. Gibson had been withholding the payments in order to try and charge Oksana $6,000 for rent.

Via NY Post:

“This morning, [a judge] ordered Mel to give up his fight to have rent deducted from Oksana and [baby] Lucia’s monthly child-support allowance of $20,000-a-month.”

Mel can add Isaiah Washington to his roster of possible costars. That makes a total of 2 people that will work with him in Hollywood. Isaiah has opened his bigot hole to support Mel.

“But you know what’s strange, though? I would still work with Mel Gibson! [Gibson's] a talented, man! Come on, he came up with Apocalypto, man! I want to work with this guy. I’ve worked with Steven Seagal. He’s out of his mind. I mean, I’ve worked with Spike Lee for four films. I’ve worked with some people that you can say are right there teetering between genius and madness. So I don’t look at their personal stuff.”

Washington did snub Charlie Sheen though and dismissed that notion by noting, “I’m not a fan of that behavior.”

So for those of you keeping score at home… Threatening to kill baby momma and bury her in the rose garden because she is a ‘glum c*nt’ while demanding pre-Jacuzzi oral copulation = OK. Getting crunk on booze and coke then locking a porn start in a closet = Not OK.

Katherine Heigl Filmed Last Episode of Greys Anatomy

After a stormy 6 year stay, it seems as Katherine Heigl is just waiting on her official discharge papers from “Grey’s Anatomy.” Series creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release Heigl from her contract, and now ABC and her representatives will work out an exit agreement. However, don’t expect her character Izzie Stevens to return to Seattle Grace Hospital to tie up any loose ends. Heigl, who adopted a baby last year and has been on maternity leave, did not return to the set as expected March 1st to film the five final episodes of the season. But ABC and Heigl mutually decided to end their relationship now instead of at the end of the season.

Per EW:

A source within the actress’ camp claims Heigl “was at home and ready to return to work.” Another insider, however, “insists it’s much more complicated than that.” The source adds that talks between Heigl and ABC have been going on for months and last week both sides mutually decided that the best solution would be to part ways now as opposed to at the end of the season. As a result, Heigl is not expected to return to the Grey’s set, which means her final episode as Izzie has already aired.

This should be no surprise as Heigl and “Grey’s” have had a rocky relationship. In 2007 she was in the middle if the TR Knight/Isaiah Washington feud, and publicly trashed Washington for repeating a derogatory word at the Golden Globe. Then in 2008 she knocked writers of the show, stating that she wasn’t in the Emmy race because she “did not feel I was given the material… to warrant a nomination.” In 2009, she called the 17 hour work-days on the show cruel and mean while on David Letterman’s show.

I honestly didn’t realize she was even still on the show.

T.R. Knight Trash-Talks “Greys Anatomy”

Now that ex “Greys Anatomy” star T.R. Knight is officially done with the show, he’s speaking very openly about feelings towards the show and what really happened with Isaiah Washington on set. Recently interviewed by Michael Ausiello about his departure, Knight said his decision was based purely on the bad blood he has been harboring for series creator Shonda Rimes, saying he found it “frustrating” she took nearly three months to publicly condemn Isaiah for his use of an anti-gay slur. Adding more fuel to the fire was when Rimes also suggested to Knight that he keep his sexuality behind closed doors even though he felt coming out of the closet would help the scandal.

Per EW:

“I think she was concerned about having my statement come out so close to the [initial] event,” he said.

Rimes denies that accusation, claiming she thought it would be “awesome” for Knight to come out, and that he would be “totally supported.” However, the icing on the cake for Knight was his lack of screen time and lack of connection with his character, George, during the last few seasons. For the first nine episodes of season five, he appeared on screen a total of only 48 minutes, compared to the 114 minutes for Sandra Oh’s character Christina. Knight says he resented and loss respect for his character and the people behind it.

Per EW:

“My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given [about George],” Knight said. “And with respect, I’m going to leave it at that. There just comes a time when it’s so clear that moving on is the best decision.”

Costar & best friend Katherine Heigl initially disagreed with her friend, feeling as though the problems could be worked out. But by the time he did leave, she felt happy for him because he was ready to move on. To Knight, it seems that walking away from the show is a relief despite walking away from a top 10 show and a $14 million contract.

Per EW:

“From an outsider’s perspective, I get the [impression that] ‘He’s just a spoiled actor…he doesn’t know how good he has it,’” he says. “There are a lot of people who would like to be in my position. But in the end, I need to be fulfilled in my work – that’s more important than the money. [So] that’s the goal. If I’m lucky to ever work again.”

Good for you Knight! Grey’s wont be the same without him, but a human being has to do what will make him or her the happiest. We wish you the best of luck!

John Mayer Perez Hilton and Will.I.Am Assault Rodeo

John Mayer has taken to his Twitter to add his ramblings to the nuttery that is the Perez Hilton Assault ’09. In case you have been doing more interesting things like trimming your toenails or contemplating the effects of global warming, here is a rundown of what happened between Perez Hilton and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas…

He-Bitch (Perez) claims that Will.I.Am hit him several times after an argument after the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto. It started with Fergie confronted Perez for hating the Peas’ new single. She confronted Hilton and asked why he was ‘angry’ and mean. Later, Will.I.Am and Hilton were leaving the at the same and a fight erupted. Will claims he never touched him and a random fan was responsible for hitting him. Meanwhile Perez twittered his need for help.

“I didn’t know what to do. I did what should be done when someone is assaulted. I called the police and they explained to me that they would try to make, but there was actual emergencies.”

“The police were taking their time and their not coming…I am freaking out so I took to Twitter.”

Now a video of the altercation has surfaced. TMZ has a shaky and dark recording of a mass of people surrounding their fight. Not much can be seen from the physical side of their fight. Perez can clearly be heard shouting, “You’re not a f**king artist. You’re a f**king fa**ot.” At that, GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) has asked him to apologize for his use of the slang and offensive term. If you recall, Perez was started a huge campaign to rid “Grey’s Anatomy” of Isaiah Washington after using the term.

Meanwhile, in a rather amusing twist, John Mayer has twittered his little heart out since the news spread of Hilton getting owned by the Black Eyed Peas. Last I checked most of his tweets were aimed at his obsession.

For once, John Mayer made me giggle. Enjoy it because I have very little doubt it will be a one time thing. Regardless, I love to bring you the news and gossip, but this be the last Perez Smack Down ‘09 related post unless Jonathan Rhys Meyers nude is somehow involved.
