Britney Spears has a plethora of songs that never officially made it to the air waves. Some are just demos others are covers that were shelved and forgotten about.

Whatever the reason, some of her lost/never released songs include an Ace of Base cover that was given a slight makeover with new verses. This was said to be posted on Brit’s site in 2006.
It’s Jamie Lynn Spears’ birthday y’all! She turns 20 today. I know you will all be celebrating by eating something deep fried.
Jamie is keeping it low key and Twitter-ed a couple pics of her birthday weekend plans which included dress up with her 2 year old daughter, Maddie, and grilling up some dinner.
For those JLS fans here is some random fun facts in honor of her day…
- Suffers from asthma but only in moderation.
- Collects porcelain dolls.
- Her favorite shoes are Puma, Birkenstock, and flip-flops.
- Planned on releasing a country album in 2009, but it never got off the ground.

A report that Britney Spears is engaged once again flew around the net and then crashed and burned. The rumor was that Jason Trawick proposed to Spears while the couple was on vacation in Hawaii…

“Nothing’s official yet, but according to our source, the proposal “was the most important part of their romantic Hawaiian vacation. Britney has been looking to get married and Jason felt it was the right time to propose.”
And WHOA was his proposal romantic! The bigtime Hollywood agent was nervous, but he still managed to smoothly set up a romantic, candlelit beach dinner. Although he thought about hiding the ring, “he was so nervous that all he could remember to do was to get down on one knee,” says our insider, who adds that Jason “professed his love for her and her boys and then asked her to be his wife.”
Turns out the site’s source was either mistaken or high on Cheetos. Britney’s blog and rep have blasted the Spears engagement rumor. The story spread and her site merely posted a pic of the recycled story with the word BULLSH*T in giant bold red letters plastered across it. Ouch.
In defense of HL…this happens all the time. Stories start at one source and then get handed down and reported by everyone else. It’s called gossip for a reason. Another wedding seems to be immanent as stories have been running wild including Spears and Trawick’s Hawaiian beach PDA and a report by OK mag stating she wants to have a double wedding with little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Britney Spears and her long time boyfriend, Jason Trawick, have been hitting the beach in Hawaii while on vacation. Brit finished filming her guest appearance on ‘Glee’ (Click HERE for those set photos) and then jetted off to play in the ocean with her well built lovah.
Brit Brit has also reportedly been busy trying to talk little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, into having a double wedding. She has been taming the weave situation lately so I am going to put a lid on the snarky comments about feeding it kibble and offering to fumigate it and bury it in the back yard and say she looks really good. See, I am not a complete no-heart.

Before there was Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge owned the title of America’s favorite unwed “celebs-who-really-shouldn’t-be” teenage parents who were briefly engaged only to break things off. But now, Britneys‘ little sister has decided to give it another go with Casey, spending some quality time together this week and even watching Lady GaGa’s Monster Ball Tour Concert in L.A with her sister and her boyfriend Jason Trawick.
Per Star:
“They’re 100 percent back on,” a Louisiana pal tells Star. “They’ve been pretty much inseparable all summer.”
If she and Casey manage to make things work after their rocky past, more power to them. They’re already on the path to raising a healthy baby girl – being a family unit would be icing on the cake. Pay close attention Bristol and Levi – THIS is how you make it work. Notice the lack of public battles, reality show talks, and Playboy spreads.

Heath Ledger’s Death
In January of 2008 the world suffered such a great loss. The talent of a bright young star slipped away after Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of medication. He left behind a world in mourning for the loss of someone who touched many lives. The star’s untimely demise launched the second installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies into a frenzy. His show stealing performance of the Joker has already scored a Golden Globe nomination.
Miley Cyrus Topless Photos
Miley Cyrus isn’t shy when it comes to cameras. She has numerous “scandalous photos” that she reportedly took with her own cell phone. Then the tween role model appeared topless but covered by a sheet in Vanity Fair. Parents of adoring fans everywhere were furious. The Hannah Montana star issued an apology for the offending photos taken by Annie Leibovitz.
Triple Murder of Jennifer Hudson’s Family
Jennifer Hudson suffered a devastating huge loss this year. Her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in their home in Chicago. The family is still awaiting to find justice. No one has been convicted of the murders. However, police are convinced they have the killer behind bars. An ex-brother in law is said to be the culprit who selfishly took the lives of three very loved people.

Britney Spears started her year in a psychiatric ward after her family committed to an intervention. After loosing custody of her sons and suffering through a breakdown, she ends the year making what is being called the biggest comeback. Her “Circus” album is sitting on top at number one.
Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth
The little sister of Britney Spears rocked the controversy cradle with a baby. The 16 year old Jamie Spears gave birth to Maddie Briann on June 19th. The news of the teen mother created an avalanche of outraged parents. Her Nickelodeon show, “Zoey 101” has yet to resume filming thanks to the outpouring of disapproval.
Twilight Mania
“Twilight” grossed over $100 million in it’s first week and launched Robert Pattinson into the hearts of girls (and some boys) across the world. Hysteria marked red carpets as teenaged girls camped out for days to catch a glimpse of the guy who played Edward Cullen. (I lovingly call him R.Patz Sparklepants.) However, he is too busy with a love triangle of his own. Runners Up
Angelina Jolie “crapped out” twins in July. Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon scored the Jolie-Pitt clan a multi-million dollar photo deal for the covers of several magazines.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie Divorce was something that was seen coming from the start of the year. Their bitter split have both camps hurling crass comments. Meanwhile, Madonna has been entertaining Alex Rodriguez. Madge and A-Rod have been having an affair while official divorce proceedings are in the works.
Lindsay Lohan had a great year. She became a lesbian and did her first nude photo shoot. The starlet recreated Marilyn Monroe’s infamous “Last Sitting” photo spread in February for New York Magazine.
