Penelope Cruz ‘Hates’ Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has opted to mend her broken heart with a younger man instead of tubs of Haagen-Dazs washed down with rum while watching reruns of ‘The Tudors’ (Jonathan Rhys Meyers shirtless makes everything better).
Since her split from Tony Parker, soon to be 36 year old Longoria has been dating Penelope Cruz’s 25 year old brother, Eduardo Cruz. The couple has been trying to keep a low profile, but recently were photographed enjoying a post New Year yachting trip. (Click HERE for those pics…) Following their holiday PDA, Eduardo had Eva’s name tattooed onto his arm. (Click HERE for a photo of the tat…) However, Eva doesn’t seem as deep into the infatuation as he is. In fact, a story by National Enquirer (via Celebitchy) is adamant that Penelope Cruz thinks Eva is using him to get close to her and Javier Bardem so she can further her career.
“Penelope believes Eva is nothing more than a fame-hungry, bad B-list actress who is using Eduardo in an effort to further her career… Penelope doesn’t understand why Eduardo is settling for a woman nearly 10 years older – especially one who failed so spectacularly at her last relationship. She thinks Eduardo can do much better than Eva. She’s always reminding him that he’s young, gorgeous and successful and that he could have his pick of women,” said the source. “Penelope has no desire to get chummy with Eva,” the source added. “And she wishes she’d leave her baby brother alone, too.”
I get this on many levels. Penelope is also guilty of dating to benefit her career. (Hello “relationship” with Tom Cruise.) But I get that he is her little brother and doesn’t want the sexy hobbit from ‘Desperate Housewives’ breaking his heart, but he is a grown a$$ man. Either way I am team Penelope.

Aside from the fashion that will be subjected to Joan River’s endless puns, the night belongs who took home the Academy Award. Anne Hathaway and James Franco hosted the evenings events as two of the youngest hosts in the event’s history.

The theme of the night screamed “THE OSCARS ARE NOW HIP AND FUN!!!! YOU ARE HAVING FUN!!!” Too bad it was the typical snoozefest despite Anne’s high on life energy. She was brought down by Franco’s Ovah This Mess/Probably Stoned Right Now demeanor. Even with James briefly dressed as Marilyn Monroe and a skit in which he was in a white skintight leotard couldn’t save things from the sleepy state. Half way through the show most of the celebs were ready to hand over the Best Actor statue to Colin Firth and get to the bar already.

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz Reveal Baby Name-SEE IT HERE

Well, it was one of the best kept secrets in Hollywood…until now.
Javier Bardem and his baby mama, Penelope Cruz might want to have a stern talking to with their family friend and Spanish film director Santiago Segura, who revealed the couple named their son Leo.
Via THR:
“I know what you want and you don’t understand why they don’t come running to show off the baby and say, ‘Look, here’s Leo.’ You’re a bunch of busybodies,” Segura blurted out when questioned by journalists why the couple shies away from the press.
Realizing his error, Segura then said “Yeah, Leo. I think so. That’s what I think I heard. But they haven’t said anything.”
Cruz gave birth to the baby boy on January 22 in Los Angeles.
According to reports, the baby’s full name is Leo Encinas Cruz, Encinas being Bardem’s father’s name.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Welcome Baby Boy

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have welcomed their first baby yesterday, a son! Reports claim that the baby boy was born on Tuesday, January 25th at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA.
According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, the infant was born at Cedars Sinai Hospital in L.A.; Spanish magazine Hola broke news of the baby’s gender. Hola also reports that members of the couple’s family flew in from Spain for the birth: Cruz’s mother, brother and sister, plus Bardem’s mother.
Penelope and the boy – whose name hasn’t been released – are said to be healthy and seeking privacy. Congratulations! Hopefully the happy couple is enjoying their first moments of parenthood together before the media swarms them for photos and information.

Penelope Cruz is Pregnant and Married

Penelope Cruz and her long time love, Javier Bardem, have been rumored to be engaged on and off for quite awhile. Reps have confirmed that the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” star quietly married Javier about two weeks ago. My hats off to them for being able to wed and do it privately.
Now Life and Style reports that a witness-type is squealing that they married so that they would be husband and wife before their baby comes early next year.
“[They] married at a friend’s house in the Bahamas this month. It was an intimate affair, with only close family present. Penélope wore a dress designed by John Galliano.
A movie insider tells Life & Style that the couple wanted to get married before their baby arrives next year.”
Media outlets were “positive” she was pregnant about a year ago and turned out to be just a rumor. So before you start hunting for gifts for their baby friend’s Babies R Us registry, wait for Penelope to actually announce her pregnancy.
Penelope Cruz Wearing Engagement Ring for Months – Photos

Penelope Cruz has been wearing a diamond surrounded sapphire ring and creating a flurry of engagement rumors. The sparkler has been photographed on her many times and each time the ring is on her left ring finger. She and her now rumored fiancé, Javier Bardem, fought of pregnancy rumors a few weeks ago and bashed them as being completely false.
Now media outlets like NY Daily insist she and Bardem are telling friends that they are planning on getting married. I will note that most sources are calling the ring “new” when in fact, it is not new. Photographs shown above and below show her wearing the ring as far back as July for the premiere of “Broken Embraces.” While it is possible this is her engagement ring, reports that she is flaunting a new diamond ring aren’t quite true.

Hurrah for babies and junk. Another celebrity joins the baby boom in Hollywood. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are expecting a baby in January according to reports by Just Jared.
“Penelope is about four months pregnant. Shes really healthy now and will be a great mother.”
Cruz and Bardem have been together for ages and have starred in 3 films together. Most recently she and Javier shared the screen with Scarlett Johansson in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.”
