“This top actor recently engaged the professional company of an effeminate boy for the night. The following night our star was out at a bar with a group of people. The boy and his p*mp showed up with a group of his own to demand payment for the services rendered. The pimp zeroed in on our star, a yelling match ensued between the two groups, and things quickly escalated into a physical brawl.

Somebody got hurt, but it wasn’t our star, who was promptly hustled out of there. However, any stories about the event have conveniently left out the part about the hooker and the pimp, as well as the fact that the fight took place in a gay bar. Our star stays in the closet and lives to fight another day.” [Blind Gossip]

My Guess: Jeremy Renner was just involved in a bar fight a few weeks while in Thailand. One of his entourage was stabbed and his rep spun the story to sound as though he wasn’t even there. Click HERE for more on that…

Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner Dating ?!

Looks like the rumors about Scarlett Johansson and Jason Sudeikis have fizzled. Red Carpet photogs captured Johansson getting quite cozy with Jeremy Renner as they strutted down the red carpet of the Academy Awards arm-in-arm and caused a snap-shot frenzy, although each came with different dates. (Renner took his mom and Johansson came with her talent agent Joe Machota).

Per Fox News:

The “Hurt Locker” star made a beeline for Johansson on the red carpet at the 83rd Academy Awards Sunday night, and the two spent some quality time lightly touching one another and making chit chat amidst the crush of Hollywood heavies.

The two laughed and smiled for the cameras, and definitely seemed like they were more than friends. So are they or aren’t they? That remains to be seen. She and Ryan Reynolds called it quits late last year, so it’s quite possible that it’s true.

Edward Norton Fired as Hulk, Replaced by Mark Ruffalo

The Hulk has some fairly obvious anger issues and, let’s face it, he’s not exactly a team player. The same might be said of Edward Nortonn, who was fired two weeks ago after Marvel released quite the harsh statement saying he would not be returning in “The Avengers.”

Per E!:

“Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members,” said Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige in a statement. “The Avengers demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H., Chris E., Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks.”

Wow, I’ve never seen a man so elegantly punched in the balls in a press release before. That translates to ‘Norton is just a pain in the arse who wants to run the show. We want an actor that does as he’s effing told no matter how awful the script is.’ Norton was going to be a key player in a cast led by Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and also featuring Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Jeremy Renner is also on board to play Hawkeye, the headstrong costumed archer. The film could also possibly feature Don Cheadle as War Machine, but a few weeks back Cheadle said he was in a wait-and-see mode on that. But now just who will play the Hulk? Fiege made it a point to say they wouldn’t be casting an unknown – and they didn’t. The job now belongs to Mark Ruffalo!

Per Huffington Post:

“It’s like Hamlet or Romeo and Juliet, a new actor gets a crack at it every year,” Ruffalo told the LA Times. “But really it’s all heady stuff. It’s exciting to be here. It’s great to be a part of all this.”

Ruffalo has proven himself in a wide range of very different roles. As much as I will miss Norton as Hulk, this looks to me like excellent news. I’m willing to give him the chance!

Jeremy Renner Gay?

Now that he’s a hot commodity, the tabloids are unveiling their wrath and claiming that ‘Hurt Locker’ hottie Jeremy Renner is gay.

‘The National Enquirer’ got ahold of some woman who claims to have known Renner before he was famous that outted him as a big ole ‘mo.

Via Celebrity Gossip:

“I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy’s boyfriend, but the fact that Jeremy is gay has never been a primary concern.”

This story was dredged up after a report that Renner and a male ‘co-investor,’ by the name of Kristoffer Winters, sold a house they purchased together in LA.

This is throwing me for a loop as Renner was making his offical run at joining my Freebie Five. Perhaps I should seek adding a co-investor, no?
