It seems Jessica Simpson decided it was time to move on from her recent break-up with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo by trying to get her ex-husband drunk and and in the sack.
OK, that last part is merely an assumption, but that is what usually happens when I am invited out for a drink.
Never fret though, there will be no ‘Newlyweds the Reunion Tour’ anytime soon. Apparently Lachey, who split from his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Manillo back in June, doesn’t want to have Romo’s sloppy seconds…or his own firsties. I am so confused.

“After about 15 minutes of pleasantries, Jessica finally got up the nerve to ask if they could get together for a drink,” a tattling tipster reveals.
“He was very to the point,” says the spy, “Jessica wasn’t prepared for it. He said he was sorry about her breakup with Tony, but getting together for a drink, dinner, or anything at all was not in the cards for him —now or ever.”
It is being reported that John Mayer is currently waiting for Jessica to extend him an invitation so he can turn her down in order to continue his regularly scheduled douchebaggery.
