I’m starting to feel pretty bad for Jessica Simpson. Admittedly she’s not the brightest bulb in the lamp, and she had to buy her own engagement ring because her fiance is too busy posing for the cameras to get a jobby-job. But still, she doesn’t deserve to be constantly defending her unpopulated womb.
“Jessica’s Mission: Save Ashlee!” According to another so-called “insider” for Star Magazine who claims Jessica Simpson is on a mission to save her sister Ashlee Simpson from self-destructing with alcohol, and told her to turn her angst into songwriting.
Jessica Simpson, who I love because she has a really great personality, is coming back to reality TV! According to E! Online, Simpson will be the “fashion guru” on a new show called “Fashion Star” that will follow 14 wannabe designers as they battle to win a multi-million-dollar contract to launch their own fashion label in three of the country’s largest retailers. Of all the subjects in the world, Simpson may actually be qualified to give advice on his one.

John Mayer has definitely dated his fair share of Hollywood women. Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, and Jessica Simpson are just a few that have had their hearts broken by John. He’s a big mouth and has been known to share many intimate details of his past lovers. Remember when he called Simpson “sexual napalm”? Well now John has moved on to another victim girl – Renee Zellweger.
Kirstie Alley has revealed that appearing on “Dancing With The Stars” has helped her make quick progress on her weight loss goals. Alley had previously said that she hoped the series would help her to shed pounds – and has already dropped two dress sizes and is getting close to what she feels is her best look.
It was announced recently that Ashlee Simpson was filing for divorce from her baby-daddy Pete Wentz and now the rumors are flying! First there were reports that Ashlee’s overbearing father was a big cause for the split along with Pete’s absence from home because of his tour schedule. Now it’s getting a little more scandalous!

In the latest dish on the divorce, The National Enquirer is reporting that Pete Wentz had a problem with prescription pills, which is another factor in the split.
A source tells the mag, “Pete Wentz is hooked on a handful of prescription drugs including Ambien, Xanax, and Oxycontin. Ashlee realized that Pete had become a functioning addict and that he wasn’t making any effort to quit.”
Simpson filed for divorce on Feb. 9th from what new reports are saying so that she could protect her son Bronx Mowgli. The couple was together just less than three years. Ashlee is reportedly living with her sister, Jessica Simpson, while she works through the tough times but seems to want to keep a cordial relationship with Wentz for her babies sake.

More bad news for Taylor Swift. After ending a short lived romance with Jake Gyllenhaal (click HERE for end of their latte love…), news that Taylor’s magazine sales were miserable has followed.

“Her April Elle cover was its worst seller of the year through October, with sales running 60,000 less than the average on the newsstand; her November cover for Glamour was the second-worst-selling for the monthly, and her July Marie Claire cover was the third-worst-selling issue for that monthly through October.”
Things could turn around. Numbers from her covers for December Allure, January Seventeen and December Entertainment Weekly could change the tides. I wouldn’t count on it. Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson also flopped when it came to their covers. Lopez was the second worst seller for Elle through October, but enjoyed the title of second best seller for Allure. Likewise, Simpson was on the top selling issue for Lucky, but brought in the worst sales for Marie Claire despite her bare faced cover.

Take a deep breath, Jessica Simpson fans – Lindsay Lohan is actually after her shoes. Lohan’s clothing line 6126 is expected to be released in the spring and now she wants to do more than just a clothing line. Lohan has been utilizing her rehab time to find shoe designers to go after Simpson’s super hot shoe line. As you know, Simpson is now a billionaire with her extended designer lines and LiLo says why not her? Yes, why not – and we’ll throw in a “Good luck Lindsay!”
Per MTV:
Through her 6126 fashion line, which now predominately sells leggings, Lohan wants to start designing footwear. A rep for the fashion line told the site, “She’ll finalize everything when she’s out.” The rep added that the shoes Lohan was mulling over for the line would be “classic, glamorous, timeless with a sexy flair.” An announcement is expected to be made early next year, and the line is expected to debut next fall.
No word whether she will be working immediately upon release from rehab next Monday or take a much needed break. But then again, do you need a break after rehab?

Jessica Simpson may be in love and junk, but her father, Joe Simpson is trying his best to have the final say on her pending nuptials between her and her former NFL player beau, Eric Johnson.
According to the National Enquirer (so, try not to take it too seriously kittens), Johnson and the elder Simpson are not seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to the dreaded prenuptial agreement.
“Jess thinks a prenuptial agreement is unromantic and a bad omen. She doesn’t want to make Eric sign one – but her dad IS adamant. Her father won’t back down. To make matters worse, Eric’s ego is bruised because he feels like Jessica’s family sees him as a user.”
Many sources claim that Johnson, who is technically unemployed, made Simpson pay for her own engagement ring.
Believe it or not, thanks to her lucrative clothing empire, Jessica Simpson’s net worth is nearing the $1 billion mark. It appears Papa Joe is trying his best to protect his meal ticket investment daughter’s best interest.
