Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn Go Public with Relationship

Reese Witherspoon may have tied the knot over the weekend, but it wasn’t her “I dos” or her wedding gown that stole the spotlight. Scarlett Johansson is making news of her own by attending Witherspoon’s nuptials to Hollywood agent Jim Toth with Sean Penn as her plus one. The couple was rumored to have gone on a romantic getaway a few weeks back to Mexico but now it seems things have gotten a little more serious with them. Actually, when ScarJo was photographed with her foot in Penn’s lap, things became a little more clear, but that’s neither here nor there.

Scarlett and Sean had been rumored to be dating for awhile now, but going to the wedding on Saturday together the two made it official. According to Hollywood etiquette showing up together at an A-list wedding together is a huge step. Scarlett – who announced her separation from husband Ryan Reynolds last year after two years of marriage – is allegedly completely smitten with Sean and wants everyone to know they are dating.

Per PopEater:

“Scarlett is Jim’s client, but no one, including the bride, knew she would have turned up with Sean Penn,” a friend of Scarlett’s tells me. “Turning up at a wedding with your boyfriend is definitely a huge statement, especially that wedding. What it’s doing is announcing to the whole of Hollywood that they are serious.”

Their reps are keeping remarkably quiet about the alleged lovers relationship but rumors say they’re due to visit Haiti together sometime in the spring where Sean has been actively involved in relief assistance following the earthquake in 2010. Sean is super talented, but I wouldn’t call him sexy. He’s decent looking, but I think I just can’t seem to get the image of him playing Spicoli in ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High‘ out of my head. Clearly the 24-year age difference doesn’t faze them and they appear to be genuinely happy together, but how do you go from Ryan Reynolds to Sean Penn?!

Reese Witherspoon Weds Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon married her agent, Jim Toth, on Saturday. The two wed at Reese’s ranch estate in Ojai, California. A rep for Witherspoon confirmed to People the happy news.

The “Legally Blonde” starlet walked down the aisle to the traditional tune of “Here Comes the Bride” as the witnesses included Renee Zellweger, Sean Penn who escorted Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr., Alyssa Milano and her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. Her two children with Phillippe also took part in the nuptials.

Witherspoon wore a pale pink Monique Lhuillier gown. The ceremony lasted around 20 minutes and ended with an exchange of wedding bands designed by William Goldberg. The band will sit with her 4 carat Ashocka cut engagement ring also crafted by Goldberg.

Some are curious as to what her most recent ex was up to. Jake Gyllenhaal spent the evening bowling while Reese married Jim. He didn’t seem to be thinking too much about her as he and his friends, which included Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, drank Red Stripe beer and even did a celebratory dance after hitting a spare. He even spent some time making friends with a brunette in the next lane before being joined by Swedish model, Mini Anden. She joined the group at around 1 A.M. Jake coaxed her into bowling a few frames and even gave her a few lessons.

Reese Witherspoon Getting Married Next Weekend

Reese Witherspoon has moved on from her failed marriage with Ryan Phillippe, and romance with Jake Gyllenhaal, and will be a Mrs. once again – Witherspoon will marry fiance Jim Toth next weekend (March 26th) at her home, reportedly planning an intimate “Southern-themed” wedding. While she is getting married, Phillippe is worrying if he knocked up some chick!

Per Radar Online:

It’s been reported that the couple will be keeping the wedding small — at least by Hollywood standards — inviting around 100 guests, and that “candles and flowers will be everywhere, in white and pastels, for an intimate feeling.”

Sounds magical! Witherspoon has reportedly been working with celebrity event planner Yifat Oren to plan the ceremony and there has been tons of speculation that she will walk down the aisle in a Monique L’huillier gown, especially since she was spotted in the designer’s Beverly Hills showroom earlier this year. The happy couple got engaged in 2010, when Toth proposed with a 4 carats diamond ring designed by William Goldberg. While she has been married before, this is his first time walking down the aisle. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Ah the holidays…It brings out divorce papers, Birkin Bags if you’re married to Jay-Z, and for some lucky bums, like Reese Witherspoon, it brings you a fat-ass diamond ring.

Yes kittens, Reese Witherspoon is engaged to Jim Toth. (Pausing for a moment of silent to all of your hoping for a Witherspoon/Gyllenhaal reunion).

According to US Weekly, the two became engaged over the holidays.

“They are extremely happy,” the rep tells Us

Witherspoon, 34, began dating Toth, 40, around the start of 2010. She split from actor Jake Gyllenhaal shortly before going public with Toth and was divorced from actor Ryan Phillippe (who’s currently playing hide-the-salami- with Amanda Seyfried) in 2008. She has two children, daughter Ava, 11, and son Deacon, 8.

Reese Witherspoon might be getting married again. Rumors are rumbling that Jim Toth is engagement ring shopping and planning a huge proposal.

Via Babble:

“A friend of her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, says that he’s been shopping for the perfect engagement ring for her, and wants the proposal to be a surprise. The couple has supposedly been “talking constantly about getting married”, and they have even gone to religious marital counseling sessions together. The source close to the couple says that the proposal will happen in the next few weeks, and that the ring will be “classic and beautiful, just like Reese herself.”

This should be interesting as it was rumored that Reese and Jake Gyllenhaal broke up because he wanted to get married. She refused and he packed up his crepe pans and Bowdabra and sashayed out the door.

Jake Gyllenhaal’s Weed Habit Caused Reese Witherspoon Split

According to new reports, Jake Gyllenhaal is a huge pot smoker and that is what led Reese Witherspoon to break up with him and move on with Jim Toth.

Via J.C.’s Hollywood:

“An acquaintance of Reese and Jake acknowledges that they were very smitten with each other for quite awhile and seemed perfectly matched. Unfortunately, Jake had a habit that Reese could not live with, and he wouldn’t give it up. He smoked way too much. And we’re not talking nicotine here. Not only did it rub Reese the wrong way, but she worried about her children being exposed to his bad habits. So, regretfully, she moved on.”

What I question is the fact that her ex hubby, Ryan Phillippe, was a known pot smoker (see quote from Rolling Stone interview 2006 below) and she tolerated that enough to have two kids with him and nearly 7 years of marriage.

“The ultimate 20-year plan is to be living in the Caribbean, writing, living off the land, eating from the ocean and probably smoking herb.”

Why do hot people do such nasty things?

Reese Witherspoon Replaced Jake Gyllenhaal with Jim Toth – Photos

Well it’s official kittens, Reese Witherspoon has replaced Jake Gyllenhaal.

For all you Wither-Haals out there, today is devastating. For those of us out to prove Jakey isn’t a ‘mo by any (and we mean ANY) means necessay, well, we’re doin’ the cabbage patch and opening a box of wine.

Reese and her new piece, Jim Toth, made the rounds in California over the weekend. The couple was out and about celebrating Reese’s birthday and Jim’s flip-flops.

“They’ve been dating for a few weeks, but this is one of the first times they’ve been photographed together.

Hopefully, Reese has finally found someone that can blow into her hot box without giggling. Although, I do spy a few glitter flakes wafting off of Jim. It’s probably nothing. Reese just likes her men the same way she likes her tea: WITH EXTRA HONAAAY!”

Sorry ladies, but the Dame has already offered up her ample bosom for Jake to cry upon. Though I am certain Jake’s tears are vanilla scented and contain mostly glitter.

Reese Witherspoon and Gerard Butler Hook Up

I can picture it now. Reese’s future involves a trip to the free clinic dressed as she damns her case of itchy crotch. Reports by your favorite tabloid are insistent that Reese Witherspoon and Gerard Butler hooked up.

After reading scripts together to play love interests in a New Line flick that is in the works, they fell in lust. Witherspoon is fresh from her break up with Jake Gyllenhaal and Gerard will nail anything with his two requirements: poon and a pulse.

“Reese’s friends are giggling about her secretly meeting up with Gerard. She thinks he’s superhot!” a friend of the actress told Star. “Reese is just having a good time with him. They’ve hung out a few times, mostly at his place in L.A. They got very chatty while reading the scripts, and there was noticeable chemistry. After that reading, they started talking and hanging out.”

From there they “hung out” quite often according to the tale. They reunited publicly again at a Haiti fundraiser (not the telethon in which Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt supposedly pledged their undying love for each other at the backstage buffet line –click HERE to read about that.) Of course, she is just isn’t looking to buy the pig, she just wants a little sausage.

“Reese doesn’t want to hurt Jake’s feelings and doesn’t want him to know about her and Gerard. She’s not interested in taking it a step further with Gerard — and that’s how she wants to keep it.”

I am getting herpes just from writing about all of Gerard’s conquests. I hope she made him double bag it. Reese appears to be turning into Kate Hudson. She is also rumored to be dating Jim Toth, an agent at Hollywood’s powerful Creative Artists Agency. Her friends say it was a business meeting while Toth’s friends say it was a date.

After the nearly two-hour meal – for which Toth picked up the tab – the couple walked outside and parted ways around 11 p.m. “Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug,” says the onlooker. “They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye.”

I am guessing that there is some truth in all this. I haven’t heard much on the validity of a Reese and Gerry humpfest but he seems to be the token man whore these days. I am betting that Jim was hoping to be the Jason Trawick to her Britney Spears, but Reese doesn’t want to have a live in toy.
