Good Charlotte’s frontman Joel Madden was certainly in no mood for tolerating any sort of funny business this morning at a radio show in Australia, cause him to walk out mid-interview! Joel and brother Benji were in the studio on a morning radio show when they were asked to play a game to test if one could sense what the other was feeling. Benji was then blindfolded and Joel was handed a picture – the infamous shot of Britney Spears stepping out of her car without her underwear on – which failed to amuse Joel.

Joel said “I think I’m pretty laid back dude, but you guys are getting on my nerves.”

Hosts Matt and Jo then apologized to the brothers, saying the photo was known world-wide and they just wanted a reaction. Then for the second twin test Matt drew a shape on a piece of paper (three guesses what the shape was!) and that was what pushed Joel over the edge as listeners heard a clearly irritated Joel announce “We’re outta here.” He got up and left right after that, with Benji apparently walking out just after his brother made his exit. Joel then took to his twitter page to vent about the situation.

Per Twitter:

“Most of the time I can put up with idiot morning show hosts but not today. I guess I have finally found some Aussies I don’t get on with. Just walked out of a FOXfm interview in melbourne not in the mood to be a clown.”

Joel is said to have told producers he was offended by the shot because he is a father. He eventually cooled off a little, saying that this mornings radio incident ‘wasn’t that big a deal’ and that he just ‘didn’t want to waste anyone’s time.’ Good for you boys! The Madden brothers seem like sweethearts and this crap the radio station pulled was completely immature. I think they were dignified in their actions and if i were in the same position i would have walked out sooner! Come on, how would YOU feel if someone showed you Britney’s cooch at the crack of dawn?
