Chris Brown seems to be taking care of business when it comes to his attempt in making up for his charges of assault on Rihanna. He was sentenced to 5 years probation and six months community labor last year. At the most recent progress hearing, Judge Patricia Schnegg spoke very highly of his commitment.
Per MTV:
“Of all probationers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have,” Schnegg said. “And I really want to commend you for taking responsibility, and for actually working diligently to complete all of the things the court has required of you.”
The Los Angeles Superior Court Judge announced that Brown is close to completing his anger management courses and has 73 of his 180 days of community service completed. Brown has been doing graffiti removal and roadside clean up as part of his service in his home state of Virginia. He has to check into the LA County courts periodically for updates on his progress but so far so good.
Kudos to you, Chris. While I don’t approve of his actions in the past, it’s nice to see he’s taking the steps forward to turn his life around.
