Mel Gibson Ordered to Pay in Back Child Support

The Incredible Hulk of BJ’s is going to have to pay up. Mel Gibson was ordered to pay just over $60,000 in child support.

Oksana Grigorieva and Mel went to court to hammer out the details of how much Grigorwhateva deserved in support of their daughter, Lucia. Gibson had been withholding the payments in order to try and charge Oksana $6,000 for rent.

Via NY Post:

“This morning, [a judge] ordered Mel to give up his fight to have rent deducted from Oksana and [baby] Lucia’s monthly child-support allowance of $20,000-a-month.”

Mel can add Isaiah Washington to his roster of possible costars. That makes a total of 2 people that will work with him in Hollywood. Isaiah has opened his bigot hole to support Mel.

“But you know what’s strange, though? I would still work with Mel Gibson! [Gibson's] a talented, man! Come on, he came up with Apocalypto, man! I want to work with this guy. I’ve worked with Steven Seagal. He’s out of his mind. I mean, I’ve worked with Spike Lee for four films. I’ve worked with some people that you can say are right there teetering between genius and madness. So I don’t look at their personal stuff.”

Washington did snub Charlie Sheen though and dismissed that notion by noting, “I’m not a fan of that behavior.”

So for those of you keeping score at home… Threatening to kill baby momma and bury her in the rose garden because she is a ‘glum c*nt’ while demanding pre-Jacuzzi oral copulation = OK. Getting crunk on booze and coke then locking a porn start in a closet = Not OK.

Levi Johnstons Custody Dispute

A custody battle over Sarah Palin’s grandson is getting nasty. A judge says that details of the dispute between Palin’s daughter Bristol and the baby’s father Levi Johnston cannot be kept confidential, even though Bristol asked to keep those details secret on grounds they’d promote a media circus that might embarrass her son Tripp when he gets older. Also denied denied was Bristol request to use pseudonyms – Jane and John Doe – in all filings. Bristol has petitioned for child support, and full legal and physical custody of their son, claiming that Levi “is not yet mature enough to take on significant parental responsibilities.” Levi wants shared custody, and open court proceedings to ensure everyone would behave and play by the rules, mainly grandmother Sarah.

Per People:

“I do not feel protected against Sarah Palin in a closed proceeding. I know that public scrutiny will simplify this matter and act as a check against anyone’s need to be overly vindictive, aggressive or malicious, not that Bristol would ever be that way, nor that I would. But her mother is powerful, politically ambitious and has a reputation for being extremely vindictive . . . So, I think a public case might go a long way in reducing Sarah Palin’s instinct to attack and allow the real parties in this litigation, Bristol and I, to work things out a lot more peacefully than we could if there is any more meddling from Sarah Palin.”

Bristol responded in a sworn statement that Levi’s assertions and fears about vindictiveness and meddling are off base.

“None of this is true; my mother is not involved in this case, except as a grandmother,” she said in her statement.

Bristols’ petition also seeks a visitation schedule for Levi, who she says has exercised “sporadic visitation rights.” Well honey, its kinda hard for him to visit when he’s chasing your mama’s book tour bus all over the country to have a couple of minutes with his son! Levi previously said that the Palin family had “pushed him over the edge” when it came to his visits with Tripp, coming up with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn’t see his son. Bristol also asks that Levi’s mother, Sherry Johnston, should not be allowed unsupervised visits with the baby following her drug arrest. Sherry was sentenced last month on a guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to deliver the painkiller OxyContin and is serving out most of her three year sentence under home confinement. Bristol’s custody petition also claims Levi may have his own issues with substance abuse, saying he made statements about seeking “weed” on Twitter. He denies the accusations, saying the Twitter account “is a fraud” and that he doesn’t have an account on the site. In addition, Bristol says Levi’s recent semi-nude pictures in Playgirl magazine has led to speculation over his ability to raise Tripp in a healthy environment.

Sounds to me like Bristol is trying to grasp at straws here!

Paula Abdul Not Returning To ‘American Idol’

It’s official kittens. Paula Abdul will not be providing us with her slurred salutations and mascara laced tears any longer on ‘American Idol’.

That’s correct, producers managed to give Ryan Seacrest a butt-load amount of money to stay, that brought back Kara DioGuardi despite all my hate-mail asking them not to, and satisfied Simon Cowell’s wallet enough for a few more seasons…but alas, no Paula.

In true celeb fashion, Abdul announced that she would not return to the glorified karaoke contest via her Twitter.

“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all…being a part of a show that I helped from day1 become an international phenomenon.”

Is it me, or did it go from sincere to snarl with that last little dig?

Fox then confirmed the former Laker Girl’s split from the show.

“Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show.”

Though neither side released exactly why Paula has chosen to depart, it has been widely speculated that she was upset with producers’ decision to pay her little compared to her male (and Seacrest) counterparts.

Amy Winehouse’s Ex Wants Cash for Cheating

Amy Winehouse‘s sleezy ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is demanding a $9.7 million dollar payout from the “Rehab” singer for being the inspiration behind her award winning album, “Back to Black,” claiming it was his cheating that gave her the material to write her hit songs. Are you friggen’ kidding me?!? Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were granted a quicky divorce this past week based on Amy’s adultury, but the judge has given them six weeks to negotiate the financial settlement or Blake will walk away from the marriage with nothing.

Per News Of The World:

A close friend of the singer told us: “Amy did write Back To Black when Blake left her, but why on earth should he be getting a dime for making her feel so bad? She was at her lowest ebb when she wrote that album. Her boyfriend had left her for another woman and she poured her heart and soul into the writing process.”

Amy’s friend explained: “The judge has given the Decree Nisi and the Decree Absolute will follow in six weeks. Blake has to make a claim before that but he has made it clear to Amy privately he wants millions. She believes she’s right and Blake has no real case for a stake at her money.”

Amy has reportedly told her friends that Blake won’t be getting anything from her, as well as it should be. However, they also say their freshly divorced pal is secretly pleased that Blake has decided to go public with the matter so she can “show him up.”

I surely hope she does show him up! Can’t believe the judge is even letting this happen in any way, shape, or form. Whats next – suing someone because you end up in jail from stealing money from them?

Chris Brown Gets Probation For Beating Rihanna

Ugh. This is so gross I can barely report it.

Chris Brown took a plea bargain in his assault case against former girlfriend, Rihanna. In exchange for a guilty plea, Brown will get five years probation and have to serve 180 days doing community service in his home state of Virginia.

Following the hearing, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Gregaros, addressed the media because he likes to hear his own voice and bought a new suit for the occasion.

Via US Weekly:

“This is a kid who has never been in trouble before, who wants to move past this. He has accepted responsibility and will continue to do so. He embraces this as an opportunity to get his life back on track and his career back on track.”

Oh well, if he’s never been in trouble before, by all means, use any lady you’d like as a punching bag.

On top of the probation and community service, the judge also ordered a protective order forbidding the singer from contacting Rihanna and a 50 yard stay-away order which demands that both parties keep their distance from one another.

Rihanna was present but was not called upon to testify.

After Brown left the courthouse, Rihanna and her attorney met with the judge to discuss the stay-away order. The judge in this case, Patricia Schnegg, conveyed to the “Umbrella” singer that she also is not allowed to contact Brown under the protection order and stay-away agreement.

If only the girls on the Maury Povich Show could be afforded the same opportunity we wouldn’t be subjected to the “…but I love him” defense.

New ‘American Idol’ judge Kara DioGuardi has showed America this year that she is an average judge at best. The song the finalists sang on Tuesday, written by DioGuardi, has been widely trashed across the internet as well.

Madonna’s Malawi Adoption Rejected

Madonna was told today that her bid to adopt 3 year old Chifundo James, translated to Mercy James, has been rejected by Malawi High Court Judge Esme Chombo. It seems residency requirement is keeping Madge from taking home Mercy. Prospective adoptive parents are required to spend 18-24 months in Malawi before being able to go forward with an adoption. Obviously, Madonna has not spent that kind of time there. A judge denied the adoption stating several reasons for the

Per BBC:

“I must decline to grant the application for the adoption of the infant. By removing the very safeguard that is supposed to protect our children, the courts by their pronouncements could actually facilitate trafficking of children by some unscrupulous individuals. It is evident that Chifundo James no longer is subject to the conditions of poverty at her place of birth.”

Following five days of hearings, Judge Chombo made her official ruling. According to a witness, the judge said during the ruling that social workers need to look for more than “someone who just flies in and out” when looking for a fitting family. Madonna was not present at the ruling but was later told by her lawyer.

The Material Girl has been in Malawi for nearly a week with her three other children awaiting word on adopting Mercy. Her Malawian lawyer, Alan Chinula, has reportedly been working for the past 18 months to skirt the 18-24 month residency requirements. Madge even threw a party before the ruling on her application was made. Her lawyer says Madonna plans to appeal the decision.

I don’t see Madge giving up so easily. She has homes in New York and London… who’s to say she won’t set up a home in Malawi until her adoption request is finally granted?

Madonna landed in Malawi on Sunday in hopes of adopting 4 year old Mercy James, whose mother died shortly after giving birth to her. Madonna wants to give her first adopted son David a sister from the same country that he was born in. Mercy is living at the Mchinji Home of Hope, the same orphanage where David was living before being adopted. Before appearing in court for the matter, Madonna took a tour of a Malawian village, and talked of plans to build a school there. Accompanying her on this trip is Lourdes Leon, her daughter with former flame Carlos. Besides Lourdes, Madonna has a second biological child, Rocco, from her marriage to Guy Ritchie, which ended in divorce in January.

The adoption of little Mercy was halted on Monday where a judge delayed ruling on her application to adopt Mercy until Friday. Her grandmother, 61-year-old Lucy Chekechiwa, is reportedly against Madonna’s decision to adopt Mercy.

“Why doesn’t this singer pick other children? It is stealing,” Chekechiwa told the Telegraph of London, adding that she has an agreement with the orphanage to take Mercy when she turns 6. “I want to go to court. I won’t let her go.”

Madonna was criticized by some when she started adoption proceedings for David in 2006, and the criticisms have started with this adoption, also. Children’s advocacy groups accuse her of using her wealth and influence to get around Malawian law requiring an 18- to 24-month assessment period before adoption. They are accusing her of using her status and wealth to bypass the African nation’s laws. “Save the Children UK” charity adds that her second adoption is sending the wrong message, encouraging poor parents “to abandon children in the hope that they will have a better life.” The singer’s 2008 divorce from Guy Ritchie has also upset the children’s charity, “Eye of the Child”. And human rights activists believe that Madonna’s recent split from Ritchie should disqualify her from adopting again.

Per Us Magazine:

“We should never allow our children to be placed into broken families,” Maxwell Matewere, director of children’s charity “Eye of the Child” has said.

“Save the Children” believes that many international adoptions are unnecessary and has urged Madonna to ensure all other options had been exhausted before removing a child from a foreign orphanage. Meanwhile, Madonna’s adopted son David’s biological father, Yohane Banda, reunited with his son Monday morning. Yohane said David asked him lots of questions in English and that the two were able to talk with the help of a translator.

A court-appointed overseer will assess Madonna’s eligibility as a parent, and two reports will be presented before the judge before ruling on the adoption.

So what do you think – will Madonnas adoption go off without a hitch? Maybe the judge will see how she’s too sexually open, and not allow the bed-hopping Madge to place this child within a broken home? Or will he let the adoption go through proving more so that celebrities can adopt whoever they want to and not have to follow the laws?

Apparently everyone is going bacon crazy over this commercial for Hardees in which the hot ho from “Top Chef” eats a burger.

Padma Lakshmi eating a Hardee’s burger hardly does anything for me. Now if Jonathan Rhys Meyers were to eat the burger shirtless and a little drunk while in bed and watching “House” it’d be perfect.

Rapper T.I. Prison Sentence

Rapper Clifford Harris, aka T.I., aka T.I.P. (i.e. I am getting too old to follow all of these aliases), was sentenced today to one year and one day in prison.

T.I. pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge stemming from an arrest in October of 2007. He agreed to complete 1,000 hours of community service prior to his sentencing, pay $100,000 in fines, and complete an additional 500 hours of community service once his prison term is over.
T.I. has received praise from many, including the Northern Georgia district judge who sentenced him, for going above and beyond what expected of him as part of his plea deal.

T.I. worked off some of those community service hours working on the MTV documentary “Road To Redemption” in which the rapper intervened in the lives of various troubled youths to help get them back on the right track.

Today, he released the following statement:

“Today I would like to say thank-you to some, and apologize to all. Everything I learned was through trial and error. I’ve learned lessons in my life to put in my music so people won’t make the same mistakes as I.”

It was also acknowledged by court officials that Harris would receive credit for the 305 days he spent under house arrest. He will also be eligible for early release pending good behavior. Judging by his recent Vegas crotch exposure in which he rubbed a shirt over his sweaty man-hood and threw it to his fans….he’ll love jail. Don’t worry T.I., if Paris Hilton can make it a month in the pokey, you will be fine.
