In case you missed it, the 2012 People’s Choice Awards – hosted by ‘Big Bang Theory’s’ Kaley Cuoco – aired last night, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Because Hollywood has completely run out of ideas and is now relying on remakes and superheros to crank out money making movies…Footloose has gotten a makeover.

Kenny Wormald, a professional dancer, is replacing Kevin Bacon. Julianne Hough will be Ariel, daughter of Rev. Shaw Moore, played by Dennis Quaid.

Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough Golden Globe FIGHT!

I knew something more scandalous than some minor flirting and a star hook-up had to of happened during the Golden Globes hoopla! According to E! Online, Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough were involved in an angry exchange of words while at a pre-Globes bash Friday at the SoHo House in West Hollywood.

“Christina really got in her face,” an eyewitness told E! News, saying that Aguilera unleashed a verbal barrage at Hough.

Onlookers said Aguilera even grabbed Hough, leading the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ hoofer to snap, “Don’t touch me!”

Before the two separated, Aguilera threatened to torpedo Hough’s burgeoning country singing career. Hough was said to be “visibly upset” by the incident, according to one insider. “The whole thing was troubling. People felt bad for Julianne.”

The two reportedly didn’t get along while filming ‘Burlesque’ and it’s evident there are still unresolved issues, although it’s unclear what caused their drama at the party. Aguilera’s rep, of course, refers to this report as “nonsense.” No word yet from anyone in Hough’s camp.

CMT has banned Julianne Hough’s music video for ‘Is That So Wrong.’ The professional dancers circa ‘Dancing with the Stars’ turned wannabe singer said that the Country Music Channel banned her video from airing on the network due to its provocative nature. During the video she strips and dances like Miley Cyrus popping her crotch for in exchange for salvia.

Julianne Hough Admits She’s Dating Ryan Seacrest

In case three or four of you out there find Ryan Seacrest utterly irresistible (yes Billy, this includes you!), you’re gonna have to take your shorty complex elsewhere.

Former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional and current country singer (huh?) Julianne Hough finally admitted she’s dating the pint-sized professional host in an interview with Ellen Degeneres.

Via Starpulse:

“Oh my gosh. He’s phenomenal. He’s really romantic. He’s not even in town and I got in my car and there are flowers everywhere. For my birthday, same thing – like flowers everywhere. I was almost embarrassed. You walk in and you’re like, ‘Is this my room? I don’t even know.’ I’m kind of embarrassed.”

Hough walked the red carpet at the premiere of the film ‘Burlesque’ that features her along with Cher and Christina Aguliera. She’s now sporting a new brunette hair-do and is looking more like a 55 year-old bar maid than a twenty something dancer.

Julianne Hough Thought Boyfriend Ryan Seacrest Was Gay

For the last couple of months, “American Idol’s” Ryan Seacrest has been dating singer and dancer Julianne Hough – but while he was trying to win over her heart, he apparently had to prove his sexuality first!

Per TMZ:

Our spies in North Carolina tell us Hough was in town for her birthday dinner at a Morton’s steak house the other night with a bunch of friends … and at one point during the meal, she was asked, “How did you and Ryan get together?”

Julianne responded, “He was after me since I was 18 … he totally wasn’t my type … I thought he was gay.” But Hough continued, “After a few years, he was persistent … so I went out with him on a date and I realized how much I liked him.”

Ouch! It’s not entirely unreasonable to suspect that Seacrest has a Ken-like smoothness down there, right? Despite a dating history that includes Teri Hatcher, Seacrest’s sexuality has long been questioned. Luckily for him, Hough didn’t buy into the rumors. Just watch – when they break up she’ll be saying, “I was right, he is gay.”
