We’re hoping this is a rumor! They’re not even at the one-year wedding anniversary and according to sources things are getting ‘pretty bad’. Heat Magazine now claims Russell Brand and Katy Perry are trying a separation! This would be almost as dream-shattering as the Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake split (I’m still recovering!)
Katy Perry has said “good-bye” to Russell Brand! Well it’s not really what you think. Katy should have packed Russell in her carry-on because he got DEPORTED!
Katy Perry is stunning in a champagne-colored bustier on the June cover of Vanity Fair, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. She talks about her lost childhood because of her religious parents, career goals, and her marriage to Russell Brand in the issue.
Holy are-you-kidding-me Batman! Is it true? The latest w-t-f-Monday rumor going around claims that newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand are already on the rocks and that she’s been seen kissing another dude! According to several insiders, Perry is cheating on her husband with her sometimes writing partner and producer Benny Blanco. I don’t buy it, but so-called spies say that she and Blanco spent hours in the studio together recording ‘California Gurls‘ and have been sleeping together.
Per Sugarscape:
Marlon David, a music producer friend of the pair said: “When she’s around Benny, Katy gets extra flirty and only has eyes for him.”
Blanco has produced songs for Britney Spears, Ke$ha and others. If the rumors are true, it would be quite the twist considering Perry’s hubby is in fact the admitted sex addict in their relationship. The rumors don’t just start/stop there – Perry also appears on the front cover of NW magazine along with the title suggesting that she’s cheating! Underneath that, there is the title, “Split Fears After Shock Revelation”, leading the reader to assume that she’s already cheating on her husband after only having been married for several months. In their “exclusive”, they claim that Katy has another man – so says her ‘close friend’ Angela Summers.
“Katy has grown closer and closer to Benny Blanco over the last year.” Summers goes on to add: “Katy loves to flirt with everybody, but when she’s around Benny she gets extra flirty and only has eyes for him. She told me that she loves the fact he makes time for her whenever she needs him. I actually saw them together in the studio when they were mixing California Gurls. I saw Katy kiss him… It didn’t look like a friendly kiss.”
With friends like that, who needs enemies?! For his part, Brand has already come out and said that he would rather be gardening than doing the deed with his wife, so there might be some truth to the rumors. Still, we’ll chalk this one up to wild accusations for now until there is a break-up or some picture-proof.

Katy Perry graces the cover of the new Elle Magazine with style and grace. Inside the magazine she’s talking about her marriage to Russell Brand and babies saying that she wants to settle down at some point and have a home life.
“I think some people will die on the stage, and I’m not so sure I want to do that. Like, I want to have kids! I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are scared because they’re worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life.”
She continued saying that having kids was always part of the plan she had for her life, even when she was broke and having cars possessed. Perry also claims she knew Brand was the right man for her the first time she met him.
“Everything clicked really fast. We kind of instantly got past all the surfacey stuff. And ever since then, there hasn’t been a dull moment.”
Also, Katy reveals how she used to hate her boobs when she was younger but has grown to love them.
“When I was a kid… I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with. I wore minimisers, which are not cute. Those thick-a** straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder. All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know my breast would come in handy someday.”

Katy Perry‘s been all over TV the last week or so. She’s done lots of performances and today she sat down to chat with Ellen on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ I love Ellen because she always asks great questions and gets the celebs to fess up. Ellen talked to Katy about married life with her new hubby, Russell Brand. Katy also performs on this afternoons show.
Ah changing her name! Katy Brand just doesn’t have the same ring as Katy Perry. Hopefully she’ll still use Perry as her professional name. And here’s her performance of ‘Firework‘ on the show complete with an orchestra. Awesome!

The Katy Perry-Russell Brand wedding was one of the biggest and most talked about celeb weddings of 2010. It almost never came true as well as their relationship almost failed to exist. It’s all because of another promiscuous celebrity musician that could have changed the course of their wedded bliss. Just before Perry met Brand, she ran into John Mayer after a Jay-Z concert. They both met Jay-Z at MSG and the couple was said to have hit it off instantly.
Per E!:
“John thought she was so hot and fun and was into her,” the insider recounts. “They were so flirty and all over each other that night at the bar, they really liked each other. Their personalities just clicked and they were flirting and dancing and it was on.”
The couple stayed late at the bar then parted ways for the night. For the next few days they exchanged several texts and emails but soon after she met Russell Brand at the MTV awards and lost contact with Mayer. The rest of the story has played out in the media like a book. It would be crazy to think of a Katy Perry-John Mayer wedding… but we’d probably hear what she’s like in bed!

Rihanna wasn’t able to attend her best friend Katy Perry‘s wedding last month – She was busy putting the finishing touches on her new CD – so she wants to show Katy and new hubby Russell Brand how much she loves them by giving them an amazing wedding gift by paying to give the newlyweds a second all expenses paid honeymoon to Tokyo. They will spend 4 nights at the exclusive Mandarin Oriental hotel and travel first class.

‘Rihanna hasn’t stopped apologising since,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She told Katy she’d been racking her brains about how to make it up to them. She knows how much Katy loves Tokyo, so this way she could give them a trip they would always remember.’
Rihanna has also bought Katy and Russell matching gold bangles carved with their initials and the date of the nuptials. What a great way to say sorry I missed your wedding. I guess the rumors that Katy and RiRi were on the outs is just a rumor – or this is just one hell of a costly make-up gift.

Rihanna skipped out on best friend Katy Perry‘s October 23rd wedding in India. Her new CD ‘Loud‘ is out on the 16th and there were reportedly some tracks that needed work so she just couldn’t make it. Katy is said to have totally understood and claimed it was no big deal. But was Katy really okay with RiRi skipping out on her maid of honor duties?
Sources are saying that since Rihanna missed out on the wedding, the two friends are barely speaking. According to a ‘close friend, Rihanna didn’t want to be maid of honor, because she doesn’t think Russell Brand is good enough for Katy.
Per MTV:
“Rihanna told Katy she didn’t think she should go through with it. She said she couldn’t be a part of Katy’s wedding since she absolutely doesn’t approve. Rihanna and Russell are very rarely photographed together because she doesn’t think he’s good enough for Katy. She just doesn’t get the attraction.”
The source also claims that Rihanna spent the Bachelorette weekend in Vegas trying to talk Katy out of marrying Russell.
“She was trying to go along with things even though she thinks Russell is bad news, but she reached breaking point when Katy and Russell had a fight just before the hen do. Rihanna told Katy how she felt. She’s watched her get upset, she’s witnessed the effects of the pair’s arguments and seen Katy cancel the wedding twice.”
Hmmmm I wonder how much of this is actually true? I’ve seen many friendships end because a guy came between two girls. Sometimes it’s better to keep your mouth shut if you don’t like your friends man and pray she sees the light eventually!

Prepare yourself now for the epic, nasty celebrity divorce that is in our foreseeable future! Russell Brand and Katy Perry are getting married this weekend in India and they want the world to know they are in it forever! Many marriages end in divorce, but factor in a marriage involving celebrities and those chances increase 10 fold. But Russell and Katy don’t want to curse their upcoming nuptials by going through the process of getting a pre-nup, feeling it would ruin the magic of their big day.

Are pre-nups a romance killer or do you believe they are a must have especially when it comes to celebrity unions? This could come back to haunt him later on down the road! If there marriage is like every other Hollywood union, they’ll be divorced within a year.
