Lindsay Lohan’s Jewelry Theft Surveillance Video Details

Remember how Lindsay Lohan wasn’t ready to accept a plea deal in court yesterday, instead preferring to wait for her lawyer to check if the surveillance video vindicated her? Yeah, well she might want to rethink that! Lindsay claimed that her stylist was the one who “forgot” to return that necklace, but sources say the jewelry store surveillance video clearly shows her stealing it. According to RadarOnline.com, a male friend of LiLo’s allegedly “distracted the clerk on purpose” while she put the necklace on and later walked out of the store with it.

“Lindsay had removed a necklace of hers that she was wearing when she tried on the necklace in question,” the source close to the case told RadarOnline.com, exclusively. “As Lindsay was putting her necklace back on, it’s apparent the store clerk was distracted by the male companion that was with Lindsay.”

The sales associate provided a statement to investigators claiming she didn’t realize that Lohan hadn’t taken the necklace off, RadarOnline.com has learned.

“The video then shows Lindsay and her male friend walking out of the store, all while Lindsay was wearing the necklace,” said the source. “It’s all clearly visible on the video.”

Yesterday, Lindsay entered a plea of not guilty to one count of felony grand theft. Should the video prove to be as damning as some who have seen it are claiming (one even called it a ‘smoking gun’) she could be facing three years in jail.

“The District Attorney believes that Lindsay’s friend distracted the clerk on purpose and that could bolster the case if it goes to trial against Lindsay,” said the source. “This simply wasn’t a case of miscommunication of a necklace being loaned and not returned, as Lindsay has claimed.”

Lindsay’s next court date is March 10th. If she still refuses a deal the case will go before another Judge for a preliminary hearing, and then go to trial. Whether she wants to or not it would be in Lindsay’s best interest to just suck it up and take the plea because chances are she’s gonna wind up behind bars either way. Even if Lindsay is somehow exonerated at trial, she’ll still be in jail for the probation violation. Not looking too good for Ms. Lohan either way you look at it.

Judge Tells Lindsay Lohan ‘You WILL Go to Jail’

Lindsay Lohan was back in court this morning in LA, facing the Judge to determine if there would be a formal hearing for her felony grand theft charge. Lindsay was charged after she allegedly stole a necklace from a Venice Beach jewelry store. It was rumored that Lindsay might possibly take a plea bargain today – if there was no jail time included in that bargain – but things didn’t go exactly as she planned, as Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers reportedly wanted her in jail for six months. The judge addressed Lindsay and made it very clear that she will be treated like everyone else, and that he isn’t going to give her special consideration because she’s a celebrity. He promised her that if the case was resolved in his courtroom she would be going to jail.

Per TMZ:

Judge Keith Schwartz told the famous defendant bluntly, “I don’t care that you’re Lindsay Lohan.” Judge Schwartz did not say how much jail time Lindsay would do if she cops a plea. And, Judge Schwartz wants a psychological evaluation that will help him understand what makes Lindsay tick and what particular sentence is appropriate. The judge explained … if Lindsay pleads guilty or no contest, it will be an automatic admission she violated her probation.

Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley asked for more time to review the jewelry store surveillance video she just received today. So Lindsay will be back in court again on March 10th. At that point, she’ll either accept a plea and go to jail or she’ll stand trial and if she’s found guilty she could get 1 year in state prison. So it looks like anyway you slice it, Lindsay’s going to be back behind bars. My question is: Why isn’t she in jail already? Enough is enough!

Lindsay Lohan’s Accuser Has A Violent Past

Dawn Holland, the woman who insists she was assaulted by Lindsay Lohan, is sticking to her side of the story and hoping that Lindsay will be changed with battery. She claims Lilo came back to the Betty Ford facility on December 12th smelling of booze and late for her curfew. She claims she tried to get Lilo to take a breathalyzer, but Lindsay refused and a fight broke out. Her story seemed pretty solid until her ex-husband decided to tell the world of the Dawn he knows, who he says is “a violent woman and a gold digger.” Could Dawn just be trying to take advantage of Lindsay’s star status and trying to get paid from her story? …I cannot believe I am starting to maybe think Lilo’s been wrongly accused.

Per Radar:

In an exclusive interview, Timothy said his marriage to Dawn was like being married to a “monster.”

“I remember getting into a confrontation one evening and she started tearing the house up. I had to restrain her,” Tim tells us. “Then I had to file a restraining order after that to have her removed from the property.”

What else did Timothy have to say about Dawn’s behavior? Check out the video here. If she had such a violent past how was she even cleared to work at Betty Ford in the first place? Something just doesn’t add up!

Lindsay Lohan Facing Jail Time… Again?

Lindsay Lohan just celebrated 100 days of sobriety last week – That’s a huge milestone for her. It seems that all was good with Lindsay, but now this week she’s got lots of drama. Aside from the rumors that she’s got a crazy stalker now there are reports that the Betty Ford Clinic is not happy with Lilo’s behavior. In fact, a Betty Ford employee is trying to press charges against her for assault! The story is that Lindsay and her Betty Ford roomie decided to go out one night and ended up at a bar. Ummmmm, mistake #1. When they returned to Betty Ford Lindsay got into an altercation with a female staff member.

Per TMZ:

As we previously reported, local police received a call at 1:03 AM for “hand-to-hand battery” — and LiLo was named as a suspect. The staffer wants LiLo prosecuted for criminal battery.

So what does this mean for Lindsay? Well she’s still on probation for her DUI in 2007 and must obey all laws. If Judge Elden Fox decides she committed a crime against the Betty Ford staffer, she could be behind bars again for 180 days. I’m guessing that he’s not going to be as forgiving and that this jail sentence could stick. Yikes!!!

Lindsay Lohan Ordered To Stay In Rehab – NO Jailtime

Lindsay Lohan caught a lucky break this morning – Judge Elden Fox ordered Lohan to stay in rehab until January 3rd, 2011 instead of sending her to jail for violating her probation. She is due back in court on February 25th and will have to undergo random drug and alcohol testing between her release from rehab until her court date. She will also reportedly have her SCRAM bracelet removed today.

Per TMZ:

The said to Lindsay at one point, “You are an addict. I hope you understand that.” Lindsay nodded her head in agreement.

The D.A. reportedly suggested 6 months in jail for Lindsay while the probation department recommend 1 month in jail. Lindsay was said to be in tears at the end of the hearing and simply told the judge “thank you” for choosing rehab over jail.

Lindsay Lohan Enters Rehab Again

After a few days of freedom, Lindsay Lohan has entered rehab again – her 5th time for those keeping count – at an undisclosed Southern California facility in a desperate bid stay out of jail and to try kick her drug problem once and for all.

Per TMZ:

The plan is for Lindsay to stay at least until the next court hearing on October 22.

Lohan, who has been in and out of jail and rehab all summer, spent 15 hours in jail last week after testing positive for cocaine in a routine drug screening before coming up with $300,000 in bail money. She also failed a second random test which showed amphetamines in her system. Judge Fox set a formal probation violation hearing for October 22nd, during which she will find out her sentence for failing two court-ordered drug tests. Fox could order her to to spend more time behind bars, order her to undergo more rehab or release her.

I’m guessing this is another attempt at placating the judge. 20-something days in rehab will not be nearly enough to deal with her problems. I’m sure she’ll beak Tatum O’Neal’s record of nine rehab stints in record time.

Lindsay Lohan Released from Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has been released from the UCLA Medical Facility she has resided in since August 2.

Lohan was ordered to 90-days in the rehabilitation facility following a 90-day jail term, she served less than 25 days of both.

Via Radar:

“The Mean Girls actress was spirited out a back door in to a waiting, chauffeur driven car. RadarOnline.com learned exclusively that Lindsay used her first moments of freedom to phone her mother Dina.”

My guess is the two were deciding which club to celebrate at until 2:00 AM.

Lohan apparently used several decoy cars to throw off photographers so she could exit the facility peacefully.

Early Release For Lindsay Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan will more than likely be a free woman sooner than expected! Lohan is currently being held at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital and doctors are saying that her psychiatric problem is not as serious as they first thought. According to TMZ, they were suspecting that the actress has a bipolar disorder but turned out that it wasn’t the case after all. Furthermore, the doctors added that her Adderall issues could be taken care of as an outpatient case.

Bottom line … sources say it’s “very possible” Lindsay is getting out this week and will begin getting outpatient care.

Once Lohans’ doctors write their final report mentioning that they believe her to be fine, her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley can go back into court and request the judge to allow her client to receive outpatient care. TMZ reports that the court would be likely to approve her release if doctors gave her the green light to receive treatment at home.

Lohan checked into the rehab center on August 2nd, after serving only 13 days of a three-month sentence in a Los Angeles county jail. She was originally set to begin her rehab program at the Morningside Recovery center in Newport Beach, California, but the judge in her case, Marsha Revel, ordered a last-minute switch to the UCLA facility for what were described as security reasons. Earlier last week, Revel removed herself from the case (read about that here.) When Lohan is indeed released, she will be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing and could be jail-bound once again if she is caught violating again.

So, in other words, her horrid behavior can’t be pinned on mental illness or even drug abuse. Final diagnosis? Spoiled Bratitus.

Lindsay Lohan Could Be Released This Weekend, Refuses To Leave Jail Until Hair Is Done

Seriously, I wish I was kidding with the words you are about to read, but would we really expect anything less? Lindsay Lohan favorite hair and makeup artists have been “put on call” for Thursday through Sunday this week – a sign that Lohan could be released from jail this weekend after a measly 2 weeks out of a 90 day sentence – so she’ll be camera ready for her 30 second freedom walk. I never really thought about this, but apparently the 30 seconds from the jail house door to the car is the most important 30 seconds of a young famous felon’s life.

Per PopEater:

“There is a small, dirty public bathroom in the reception area that she will be allowed to use briefly before she leaves,” an insider very familiar with Century Regional Correctional Facility tells me. “She will not be allowed to plug in a hairdryer and get a blow out and she can forget about using a flattening iron. There will be no full-length mirror and only if the corrections officers decide to be nice will they close the area to the public. Remember, everyone who works at that jail hates the press. They don’t want to be bothered with all this nonsense and want to rid themselves of Lindsay as quickly as possible.”

You hear that, Lindsay? NO FLAT IRON! Oh what is a girl to do! PopEater’s Rob Shuter says that when Paris Hilton was released from prison a few years ago, she had image experts choreograph her 30-second exit walk. Seriously? Not one to be outdone, Lohan has reportedly already started the planning process for her impending high profile walk of shame – she is slated to wear her own brand of 6126 leggings, using the opportunity to advertise her products.

The ought to just toss her out on the street as is so that maybe that 30 seconds will knock some sense into her … or at the very least give me something to laugh the next morning. Jail looks like it was a complete worthless experience for her.
