Lindsay Lohan Late to Morgue, Turned Away

Oh where to begin with the latest Lindsay Lohan drama? Yesterday she was in front of the judge for a probation evaluation. Things did not go well. The Judge was not impressed in the least with her attempt to complete her community service. When it was all said and done, Lindsay’s probation was revoked and she was taken to jail. The bail was set at $100k so of course she bailed out right away.

But it looks like old habits die hard for Lilo. Although she promised she’d take her probation and community service seriously, she got off to a really bad start today. The Judge ordered her to complete 16 hours at the LA County Morgue by November 2nd which is the formal hearing regarding her probation. She vowed to start working at the morgue right away and was set to begin work at 8am this morning.

Lindsay Lohan’s Trial Date Set

Lindsay Lohan was back in court this morning. There were rumors that she may plead either guilty or no contest, but her lawyer asked for some more time to mull over last-minute negotiations that took place yesterday with her lawyer, the D.A., and Judge Schwartz. So Lindsay now has two more scheduled court dates.

Per TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan’s judge is pissed … that TMZ got information about his sentencing recommendation even though he wanted it held confidential … this, as he has given Lindsay more time to mull over his sentencing offer that WILL involve jail time.

The Judge was upset not only because Lindsay was a bit late to court, but also that the information shared during the meeting is his quarters was leaked out to the media. Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley met with the Judge in his quarters yesterday to discuss how a guilty or no contest plea would be handled. Lindsay still insists that she’s innocent, but realizes going to trial could mean going to prison.

If she pleads guilty, she’ll head to jail for up to 3 months. But thanks to over crowding in CA jails she’d probably serve around 18 days. The judge has sent the case to another judge – Stephanie Sautner – for a preliminary hearing, but he’s giving her one more chance to accept his offer. Lindsay will be back in court before Judge Schwartz on March 25th, and she can plead either guilty or no contest to the grand theft charge. If Lindsay doesn’t accept the plea, Judge Sautner will hold a preliminary hearing on April 22nd. The Judge will then decide if she violated her probation -and if she decides that she did, which she most likely will, Lindsay will be sent right to jail where she’ll sit in jail and wait for her trial.

I mean, I think it’s a no-brainer here! Plead guilty and then you’ll go to jail for around 18 days. It’s a much better option than sitting in jail until your trial date.

Judge Tells Lindsay Lohan ‘You WILL Go to Jail’

Lindsay Lohan was back in court this morning in LA, facing the Judge to determine if there would be a formal hearing for her felony grand theft charge. Lindsay was charged after she allegedly stole a necklace from a Venice Beach jewelry store. It was rumored that Lindsay might possibly take a plea bargain today – if there was no jail time included in that bargain – but things didn’t go exactly as she planned, as Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers reportedly wanted her in jail for six months. The judge addressed Lindsay and made it very clear that she will be treated like everyone else, and that he isn’t going to give her special consideration because she’s a celebrity. He promised her that if the case was resolved in his courtroom she would be going to jail.

Per TMZ:

Judge Keith Schwartz told the famous defendant bluntly, “I don’t care that you’re Lindsay Lohan.” Judge Schwartz did not say how much jail time Lindsay would do if she cops a plea. And, Judge Schwartz wants a psychological evaluation that will help him understand what makes Lindsay tick and what particular sentence is appropriate. The judge explained … if Lindsay pleads guilty or no contest, it will be an automatic admission she violated her probation.

Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley asked for more time to review the jewelry store surveillance video she just received today. So Lindsay will be back in court again on March 10th. At that point, she’ll either accept a plea and go to jail or she’ll stand trial and if she’s found guilty she could get 1 year in state prison. So it looks like anyway you slice it, Lindsay’s going to be back behind bars. My question is: Why isn’t she in jail already? Enough is enough!

Lindsay Lohan Is Looking For A Sponsor

Friday was judgment day once again for Lindsay Lohan, who violated her probation over the summer when she failed a required drug test. She could have been sent back to jail, but the judge ordered her to go back to rehab until at least January 3rd. Needless to say Lindsay won’t be able to work on any of her movies or her fashion line, so what’s she going to do to pay her rehab bill? Lilo was thrilled Friday to get sent back to rehab rather than jail, but then she began to worry. She had commitments for work made in the coming months and now with her treatment won’t be able to fulfill her job and get paid. It’s estimated that Lindsay’s treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic until the beginning of January will cost an estimated $50k! That’s how much she would probably spend on buying blow so it doesn’t sound too bad. Friends close to the actress are saying she doesn’t even have $50k to cover the program.

Per Monsters and Critics:

‘There is simply no money left,’ the insider commented revealed. ‘Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others, however, asking for free clothes and dinners at fancy restaurants is one thing, asking for $50,000 cash is something totally different. Her people tried and failed to sell her first post rehab interview for big bucks, so her only option now is to find some sort of sponsor.’

Hmmmm… Lindsay’s trip to rehab for the 5th time brought to you by Jack Daniels. It could work!

While Lindsay Lohan was at her probation violation hearing and begged the judge to believe that she wasn’t a coke snorlax, hasn’t had a drop of booze and understands the levity of the situation…Lohan had ‘F**K U” written on her fingernail that she flashed at the judge several times.

Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in jail and another trip to rehab. Click HERE to read about Lindsay Lohan’s reaction after being sentenced to jail.

Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To JAIL!!! – VIDEO

Judge Marsha Revel has ruled that Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation in a drunk driving case when she failed to attend alcohol education classes and sentenced her to 90 days in jail.

Per TMZ:

The evidence was loud and clear today — Lindsay violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes based on the schedule set by the judge. There were lots of excuses, but ultimately they didn’t fly.

Lindsay broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, “I did the best I could.”

Judge Revel stated several instances over the last few years in which Lohan lied about taking drugs and drinking. Prosecutors failed to comply with the weekly attendance directive for her alcohol education classes. An operator of the class testified that Lohan had nine absences.

In considering her punishment, Revel said she considered whether Lohan violated her probation only for the actress’ failure to attend some scheduled alcohol education classes, not because the alcohol-detection bracelet that Lohan was ordered to wear had been triggered following the MTV Movie Awards (read about that here.) Following her 90 day stint in jail, Lohan has two days to surrender herself for another 90 days to an inpatient rehab center. Lohan must surrender on July 20th at 8:30am in Judge Revel’s court.
