Lindsay Lohan to Play Sharon Tate

Hasn’t Sharon Tate suffered enough? As if her murder wasn’t horrific enough, Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been offered the role of Tate in a Charles Manson movie.

A project called ‘Eyes of a Dreamer’ is in the works and being produced by Brad Wyman. TMZ points out that he also backed ‘Monster’ starring Charlize Theron. The director, who has also given himself the role of Manson, is celeb photographer Tyler Shields. Coincidentally, he shot Lindsay’s promo stills for ‘Inferno.’

It will be interesting to see if Lindsay will actually make it to production. Her name attached to a project is free press as she is a favorite tabloid target. Some whispers suggest her name is being used just to pimp the project. Mix that with the fact that she is impossible to insure and still on probation…it looks like Charlie Sheen has better odds at achieving sanity.

Kanye West is always the one to step out and cause controversy. Now he’s doing it with his new “Monster” music video. He still putting the finishing touches on it but a leak is out and it gets pretty graphic. ‘The Vampire Diaires’ Ian Somerhalder To Star In ‘Cradlewood’

global green 210208

Ian Somerhalder, currently starring as the dark & mysterious Damon Salvatore in “The Vampire Diaries,” hot enough to give Robert Pattinson a run for hottest vampire, has signed on to star in “Cradlewood,” a romantic gothic fairy tale set in Boston. Somerhalder will play the son of an old Boston blue-blood family, the heir to a fortune, who’s dating an Australian girl. A family legend of his suggests that the family fortunes are tied up with a demon, and that a curse means that every time a boy is born into the family, his father dies. When he begins to experience strange things at the same time he starts suspecting his girlfriend is pregnant, he begins to worry that it’s not just an old wives’ tale.

“Cradlewood” is based on original story by Harry Weinmann. Emma Lung will play Somerhalders’ girlfriend in the movie. The script was written by Stephen Sewell and John Paul Chapple, and will be produced by Michel Shane and David Redman.

Per Hollywood Reporter:

“We see this is as almost like an American-style ‘Pan’s Labyrinth‘ in look and feel,” Shane said. “It’s a perfect segue for the kids who have outgrown ‘Twilight‘ but want something romantic and scary. Our monster will be quite terrifying; she is sexually attractive and monstrous at the same time.”

“Cradlewood” is scheduled to start shooting in Melbourne, Australia in April, during Somerhalders’ hiatus from “The Vampire Diaries.” It’s an interesting plot, although I’m struggling a little to see were the “romance” is at this point. Oh well, do we really care? I mean, its Ian-freakin’-Somerhalder! His lines could consist of nothing more than reading the nutritional facts off the side of a Planters Peanuts jar and I’d pay the price of admission, repeatedly, to see his sexiness sizzle on screen!

Chris Brown Sued For Another Alledged Beating

Chris Brown likes it rough. Not only is the singer/sometimes supposed actor still in hot water over allegedly (I can’t believe I still have to preface with that word) beating up on his one time girlfriend, Rihanna, he is now being sued for using a photog as a punching bag.

According to the paparazzo, he was shooting some pics of Brown back in March at an LA Fitness center when Brown’s bodyguards spotted him and told him to stop. As he was trying to leave, one of the center’s employees blocked the exit and that’s when the beat-down commenced.

Via TMZ:

“The photog says he then fell down a stairwell, which allowed the bodyguards to catch up with him — where they, ‘picked him up by his shorts and physically assaulted him.’”

This comes only one day after Brown posted a YouTube video of himself with his friend, um, BowWow (no longer, Lil’) claiming that he “isn’t a monster.”

All I got from this video is that Bow Wow’s job is merely to repeat everything Brown says, and that Brown really thinks you should buy his next album. Only the classiest singers head to YouTube for promotion, right?
