Hollywood's Grand Dame of Gossip and Style
Mitch Hurtwiz has once again promised us more ‘Arrested Development.’ Not only is a brief movie in the works, according to Mitch, a tv series is also in store. This trick has been promising more Bluth family shenanigans for years and we have yet to see more Never Nudes or even a banana stand.
I can picture it now. Reese’s future involves a trip to the free clinic dressed as she damns her case of itchy crotch. Reports by your favorite tabloid are insistent that Reese Witherspoon and Gerard Butler hooked up.
After reading scripts together to play love interests in a New Line flick that is in the works, they fell in lust. Witherspoon is fresh from her break up with Jake Gyllenhaal and Gerard will nail anything with his two requirements: poon and a pulse.
“Reese’s friends are giggling about her secretly meeting up with Gerard. She thinks he’s superhot!” a friend of the actress told Star. “Reese is just having a good time with him. They’ve hung out a few times, mostly at his place in L.A. They got very chatty while reading the scripts, and there was noticeable chemistry. After that reading, they started talking and hanging out.”
From there they “hung out” quite often according to the tale. They reunited publicly again at a Haiti fundraiser (not the telethon in which Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt supposedly pledged their undying love for each other at the backstage buffet line –click HERE to read about that.) Of course, she is just isn’t looking to buy the pig, she just wants a little sausage.
“Reese doesn’t want to hurt Jake’s feelings and doesn’t want him to know about her and Gerard. She’s not interested in taking it a step further with Gerard — and that’s how she wants to keep it.”
I am getting herpes just from writing about all of Gerard’s conquests. I hope she made him double bag it. Reese appears to be turning into Kate Hudson. She is also rumored to be dating Jim Toth, an agent at Hollywood’s powerful Creative Artists Agency. Her friends say it was a business meeting while Toth’s friends say it was a date.
After the nearly two-hour meal – for which Toth picked up the tab – the couple walked outside and parted ways around 11 p.m. “Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug,” says the onlooker. “They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye.”
I am guessing that there is some truth in all this. I haven’t heard much on the validity of a Reese and Gerry humpfest but he seems to be the token man whore these days. I am betting that Jim was hoping to be the Jason Trawick to her Britney Spears, but Reese doesn’t want to have a live in toy.

Oh this looks fantastic! Disneys “The Princess and the Frog” is an animated family feature film loosely based on E.D. Baker’s novel “The Frog Princess” and the Grimm brothers’ “The Frog Prince.” Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, a prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia is transformed into a frog by the evil scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince mistakes a girl named Tiana for a princess and has her kiss him to break the spell. While the kiss doesn’t break the spell, it instead turns Tiana into a frog, too. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way. The film will open in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25th before expanding into wide release on December 11th.
The film’s soundtrack “The Princess and the Frog: Original Songs and Score” will be released November 23rd. It contains seven instrumental pieces and ten original songs, including the pop theme song “Never Knew I Needed” contributed by Ne-Yo. The music video for the song is directed by Melina and will premiere online in the near future. Four time Grammy Award Winning composer Randy Newman also composed and directed the rest of the songs on the album.
Anika Noni Rose (the voice of Princess Tiana) and Walt Disney Pictures is giving fans an early treat with a sneak peak of the soundtrack to “The Princess and the Frog.” Watch the exclusive featurette above to hear some of the movies’ music and to learn why Princess Tiana’s song will set her apart from past princesses. There’s no way this won’t be an awesome movie and a beautiful soundtrack. The feeling I get anticipating this film and seeing the warmth put into it is indescribable. This is what Disney is all about.
In an effort to build a name for himself, Ojani Noa is doing his part to cash in on his brief marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
It seems the Cuban immigrant/waiter is in the process of making a movie based on his life with J.Lo titled: “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-lo and and Ojani Noa Story.” However, you know Ms. Lopez is not going to stand for anyone (other than herself) getting paid off her name.
Her lawyers issued a cease and desist this morning reminding Noa and his team of a little injunction from 2007 forbidding Noa from licensing, disseminating, or distributing any book, manuscript, or other written materials which contain private or intimate details about Lopez or Noa’s relationship with Lopez.
Noa, of course, insists that the film is a ‘mockumentary’ and is totally made up.

“Citing a 2007 injunction against writing about Lopez’s personal life, the letter signed by attorney John Lavely states that the film ‘constitutes a blatant and malicious violation of my client’s legal rights and undeniably violates the clear command of the Court’s injunction…Your announced intention to produce a motion picture …about Noa and Lopez and their tumultuous marriage (as characterized on the website)’ violates the injunction, the letter said, demanding that the production ‘cease and desist from proceeding.’”
The 2007 injunction was issued after Noa’s attempt to release a tell-all book about his time with Lopez.
The film is currently casting and is set to start filming in February 2010.

Now Twi-hards, lets not break iTunes after you finished reading this, ok? “Twilight” fans desperately counting down the days until “New Moon” hits theaters have been treated to yet another sneak peek at the film. On the ‘one-month-til-premiere date, iTunes released a never before scene featuring Bella as she confronts the Wolf Pack about Jacob. When the shape-shifting group appears not to take her words seriously, she for some reason thinks its a good idea to slap Paul and gets to see what happens when the temperamental member of the pack is ticked off. The clip starts off with a small introduction by Taylor Lautner. Enjoy!
Could movie star Leonardo DiCaprio be taking time off from romancing models and really be dating someone who is nothing more than a reality show star? Star Magazine seems to believe so, claiming DiCaprio has been secretly dating Whitney Port for weeks. Really Leonardo? Thats the best you could come up with?

“They met at an NYC party and he flirted with her like crazy, then asked for her phone number,” says a friend of Whitney’s. “She didn’t think it was a big deal because she heard he does that with a lot of girls.” The friend goes on to say, “When Leo started calling her, she thought he was just being friendly, but he called and called. He was very sweet to her. He told her how beautiful she is, how much he wanted to go out with her….He’s treating her very well, and of course it’s exciting that he’s such a huge star. She’s really clicked with him, but she’s taking it very slowly. She doesn’t want to be just another notch on Leo’s bedpost.”
Uh huh… sure… whatever. I tend to doubt this story because if Leonardo comes a-lookin, then you jump on him faster than Lindsay LOL-han does on a pile of coke. If it were true then the so called notch or not, you run with it honey!
Ian Somerhalder, currently starring as the dark & mysterious Damon Salvatore in “The Vampire Diaries,” hot enough to give Robert Pattinson a run for hottest vampire, has signed on to star in “Cradlewood,” a romantic gothic fairy tale set in Boston. Somerhalder will play the son of an old Boston blue-blood family, the heir to a fortune, who’s dating an Australian girl. A family legend of his suggests that the family fortunes are tied up with a demon, and that a curse means that every time a boy is born into the family, his father dies. When he begins to experience strange things at the same time he starts suspecting his girlfriend is pregnant, he begins to worry that it’s not just an old wives’ tale.
“Cradlewood” is based on original story by Harry Weinmann. Emma Lung will play Somerhalders’ girlfriend in the movie. The script was written by Stephen Sewell and John Paul Chapple, and will be produced by Michel Shane and David Redman.
Per Hollywood Reporter:
“We see this is as almost like an American-style ‘Pan’s Labyrinth‘ in look and feel,” Shane said. “It’s a perfect segue for the kids who have outgrown ‘Twilight‘ but want something romantic and scary. Our monster will be quite terrifying; she is sexually attractive and monstrous at the same time.”
“Cradlewood” is scheduled to start shooting in Melbourne, Australia in April, during Somerhalders’ hiatus from “The Vampire Diaries.” It’s an interesting plot, although I’m struggling a little to see were the “romance” is at this point. Oh well, do we really care? I mean, its Ian-freakin’-Somerhalder! His lines could consist of nothing more than reading the nutritional facts off the side of a Planters Peanuts jar and I’d pay the price of admission, repeatedly, to see his sexiness sizzle on screen!

Oh my I think I’ve just gone to heaven!! With 44 days & some-odd hours and counting til the “Twilight Series: New Moon” movie hits theaters, we’re now starting to find out a few more juicy tidbits about the upcoming film, along with a ton of up-until-now unreleased photographs hitting the net. These amazing pictures come from the recently released “New Moon Illustrated Companion,” and with around 95 or so photographs, they are hot enough to keep you occupied until November 20th. (You can see all the photographs released here.)
Some spoilers are making the rounds too, and they are sure to make Twi-hards even more excited about the upcoming movie. While none of them are considered ‘major’ spoilers, I do suggest you stop reading now and just gaze at the photographs for hours on end if you don’t want to be spoiled at all. If you’re curious like me and you cannot wait until November, then continue reading below!
Spoiler #1: When screenplay writer Melissa Rosenberg was writing the scripts, she tried to keep the fan base out of her head, but she couldn’t avoid it by the time of New Moon. She gave the men in Port Angeles motorcycles to make it a more “significant moment” and because motorcycles will become “an important part of her relationship with Jacob”.
Spoiler #2: While filming the breakup scene in the forest Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were being swarmed by mosquitos. In all the “vision” sequences Edward is wearing the same outfit he does when he said goodbye to Bella because that is the last memory she holds of him. As a sign that Bella is committed to Edward, her clothes are linked to his color wise. After he leaves she doesn’t pay much attention to her appearance.
Spoiler #3: The Cullen house used for “Twilight” was “a very specific house, and the only way out of that puzzle for us was to put portions of the story of New Moon in other parts of the house”. They scouted many locations for the Cullen house, but found one that was comparable enough with the house in Portland.
Spoiler #4: Robert quote: “The birthday scene at the Cullen house is like the ideal birthday party. The house is beautifully decorated and everyone is happy. Edward is looking at Bella and thinking that she can become part of his family and his life–that maybe this can work out the way he wants it to.” The sequence for the birthday party – Edward relates the history of the Volturi to Bella, she becomes wounded in the hand, and Edward faces off against Jasper.
Spoiler #5: They used the Blue Ray DVD of Twilight to help them with the age, color, texture and features of Bella’s house and room. They used the “Twilight Illustrated Companion” for help finding Bella’s truck.
Spoiler #6: Even the cameras used and their movements are done to show the relationship between the characters. One special challenge for the production team was how to convey Bella’s depression once Edward departs. In the books, the month pages do it (October, November, December, January.) In the film the passage of time is represented with visual effects. Bella sits in her chair in the bedroom and a camera circles around here while the seasons change outside her window.
Spoiler #7: Another shot manipulation, instead of Bella running to her truck and driving home after seeing the wolves in the meadow, she runs out of the woods and tells Charlie immediately that she saw them. The changes were made to make the scene more efficient.
Spoiler #8: When they are rebuilding the bikes there is a montage of scenes.
Spoiler #9: They wanted Jacob’s house to be “like a stepping stone into the forest world”. So it’s further from the heart of the reservation. Emily and Sam’s house is deeper in the forest, more separate from regular life.
Spoiler #10: Added to the movie, Jacob gives Bella a dreamcatcher. It stirs up emotions in all the major characters: Jacob says it will catch bad dreams. Edward is irritated that his rival gave Bella an intimate gift, and Charlie regrets that it stops working.
Ok, so there you have it Twi-hards! 10 Spoilers to keep you in limbo until the movie comes out. The passage of time in the book was very simple yet powerful. I like their approach to it for the movie. I got chills!

Robert Pattinson is on the short list to play Prince Harry in a film about his life, called “The Spare,” about the royal’s experiences, including losing his mom Princess Diana and his time on the front line in the army in Afghanistan.

“I feel a sense of compassion for the guy. His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over, ” says director Peter Kosminsky.
The film’s script is currently in the works, and once film bosses find someone to play the lead they’ll be shooting in the UK and the Middle East. Competing with Sparklepants is also Rupert Friend and fellow “Harry Potter” actor Rupert Grint, although Kosminsky said he would consider casting an American actor for the role, too. This could be just the type of quality role Pattinson has been looking for, clearly unhappy with the scripts that have been coming his way recently.

“Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do. Acting is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker,” says Pattinson.
While he’s already taken on the role of a doomed wizard, a spanish painter, and a sparkly vampire, adding the part of British Royalty to his acting resume might just be the next best step for Pattinson. He already has a lot in common with Prince Harry – the ladies love them, they struggle for privacy, and every move they make is scrutinized by the media. Yeah, I think he could relate quite well!

Sorry ladies… Taylor Lautner has already lined up his Valentine for 2010, and Taylor Swift is the lucky one. The duo recently wrapped up shooting the movie “Valentines Day” due in theaters, you guessed it, February 14th. The buffed up wolf and the country crooner play a onscreen couple who fall in love. Pictures of the two kissing in the movie have hit the internet and I don’t doubt there are a few “Team Jacob” fans who are throwing daggers at the computer screen this very moment. Swift calls getting the chance to kiss Lautner “life-changing” – Yeah, no kidding! I am dying to know how many girls are so jealous of Taylor Swift right now? Come on, girls you can admit it!
And, as an extra little treat for our readers, we also have something hot to warm you up for the cooler weekend ahead! “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” Wolfpack members Alex Meraz, Bronson Pelletier, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman were seen shirtless on set while filming the new movie trying to keep warm wearing bathrobes and Uggs.
