‘New Moon’ Stars Forced To Evacuate London Hotel

For the brave few Twi-hards that decided to camp outside of The Dorchester Hotel in London on Wednesday waiting to catch a glimpse of their favorite vampires and werewolves, Christmas most definitely came early. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and “New Moon” director Chris Weitz were forced to evacuate the hotel when a fire alarm went off around lunchtime, forcing everyone outside.

Per MTV:

“Everyone was out on the street. There Rob was with his entourage, including Kristen.”

A Dorchester Hotel spokesperson called it a “minor incident” although for those lucky few Twi-hards camped outside, it was probably better than free tequila shot night at the local bar. The actors were said to be at the hotel giving press interviews at the time the fire alarm went off. And how much you want to bet that alarm was pulled by one of the campers? Hmmmm….

Robert Pattinson: I’m Disgusting and Manic Depressive

Here is your daily dose of Sparklepants and celebrity quotes. Doing an interview with Britain’s New Magazine, Robert Pattinson called his hygiene habits disgusting.

“It gets to the point where even I can’t stand the air around me. My personal hygiene – it’s so disgusting! Really, it’s that I have very few clothes that I like and I’m traveling all the time so I can’t really get any more.”

With all the screamy Twihards out there you’d think he find a ho to run a rake through his unicorn patch and introduce his jeans to Tide. Regardless, he goes on to describe his mental state.

“You over-analyze everything – you analyze how if you say one thing, someone likes you, and if you say another, they don’t. You begin to experiment on people, which isn’t good for real life. I don’t think I’m very romantic any more – just manic depressive.”

Egads. Did he think he was on ‘The View’ when he did this interview?

New Music Friday – Muse

If you are a fan of the “Twilight” series, then you more than likely have heard of Muse, who had a hit off the movies’ soundtrack with the song titled “Supermassive Black Hole,” and the song “I Belong To You (New Moon Remix)” off the next movie in the saga “New Moon.” Considered to be an alternative rock band who formed in the early 90s from Teignmouth, England, the band consists of longtime friends Matthew Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard. They’ve changed band names a number of times (from names such as Gothic Plague, Fixed Penalty, and Rocket Baby Dolls) before finally deciding on the name Muse. Their sound is a blend of alternative rock, classical, electronica, metal, spanish guitars, and progressive rock.

The band is known for their energetic live performances and front man Bellamy’s avid interests in unconventional things such as global conspiracy, extraterrestrial life, theology and the apocalypse. Their lyrical themes involve madcap conspiracy theory, revolutionary rabble-rousing, weird stuff about aliens, religions and other such classic Muse concerns. They have won many musical awards over the years, including 5 MTV Europe Awards 5 Q Awards, 6 NME Awards, and 2 BRIT Awards. The majority of these awards have been attributed to their live performances.

Muse have been heavily involved with “Teenage Cancer Trust,” a charity that focuses on the needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer, leukemia, Hodgkin’s and related diseases. They have performed at the Royal Albert Hall where they donated all money made from the merchandise stands to the charity. In September of 2008 all three members were awarded Honorary Doctorates of the Arts by Plymouth University.

Muse has released five studio albums, with their latest released this September titled “The Resistance.” It is the first Muse album to have been produced by the band itself. On its release, it topped the album charts in 19 countries and reached number 3 on the American album charts. The first single off the album, “Uprising,” has reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Alternative Songs chart becoming their 6th Top 10 single and first #1 on that chart. With only a few weeks left until the official release of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the folks that distribute Twihard trinkets have taken their obsession to the next level with the release of Sparklepanties.

Kristen Stewart Breaks Robert Pattinson’s Heart

While you were sound a sleep last night with visions of Robert Pattinson dancing in your head, the rumor mill was working on overdrive trying to create some drama for our beloved Sparklepants. Last week, OK Magazine ran a story trying to make us buy into Pattinsons’ rumored romance with co-star Kristen Stewart, promising us a first look into their love nest in Vancouver but producing nothing more than pictures of some random hotel room. They even went as far as to bogusly quoting the two as saying, “We’re already like a married couple.” But now it looks like the rumored couple won’t be getting their happily ending afterall, as the magazine now has Kristen breaking Rob’s heart & leaving him heartbroken, along with his so-called plans to win her back.

Per OK!:

“Rob was talking marriage,” says the source, who explains that the relationship was also stealing all of Kristen’s attention and keeping her from spending time with her friends and family. “She told him they need to take a break.”

So within the matter of a week, the couple have gone from saying they were like a married couple to breaking up because Rob was thinking marriage. Kinda contradictory if you ask me! Meanwhile back in reality, the two have finished up filming on the third installment, “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and are gearing up for the whirlwind of promotional tours they are about to embark on. So what story do you think the magazine will drum up for next week? Kristen upset at Robs flirting? The “Twilight” stars engagement? Kristen pregnant with Robs baby?… Scratch those, they’ve already been done! Guess the only thing left is to have Rob turn up pregnant himself. Next time you are standing at the checkout line and you see a magazine with KStew & Sparklepants on the cover, think twice before you pick it and believe it to be true.

Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift on Overnight Hotel Date – Photo

“Twilight” resident wolfpack member Taylor Lautner and country crooner Taylor Swift have been rumored to be dating each other for quite some time now, each trying to throw out the “just friends” card… but how can you use that excuse when you bunk together overnight in a hotel? Hmmmmm….. Lautner wrapped up shooting his part for “Eclipse,” the third movie in the series, flying out of Vancouver down to LA Saturday morning. Later that night, he was seen out on what appeared to be a date with Swift, taking in a Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Los Angeles Kings hockey game with premium seats at the Staples Center before heading out to dinner together. After dinner the couple headed back to their Beverly Hills hotel – notice, no ‘s’ on the end of that word – around 10:30. And before you Twi-hards start calling foul on the situation because in your warped little minds there is no way Mr. Jacob Black could be after anyone but Bella, there is indeed photographs floating around!

Per X17:

“These two weren’t going to any great length to hide the fact that they were spending the night together! They could have been a lot sneakier if they wanted to, and we spotted them leaving early this morning.”

Their latest hookup comes just a mere few weeks after the duo saw each other in Chicago. Both Taylors are busy, she with her tour and he with promoting for “New Moon” about to start up, but it looks like the Taylors are able to find a little time in their schedules to sneak away for a night!

UK’s Robert Pattinson School

Yes, Twi-hards – the UK does have a school by the name of Robert Pattinson School, although it isn’t a school on obsessing over your favorite cold dead vampire, or how to make your hair stand up at the touch of your fingers like the “Twilight” stars. Instead, its a college specializing in Language, Science, and Mathematics. Opening in 1992, it became a self governing school with grant maintained status and became the first school in Lincolnshire to be appointed as a Specialist School for Languages in 2001. The school also received the Achievement Award for Examination Performance in 2003.

Online outlets are saying that this school used to be the #1 Google Search when you searched “Robert Pattinson” before the “Twilight” craze started. Oh what a difference a year makes! In all seriousness guys, it is a real school. That is their real name. It has nothing to do with our beloved Sparklepants and no, he does not promote it! Its just a mere coincidence of shared name! And no, Robert does not teach there! Sorry!

iTunes “New Moon” Clip – See it HERE

Now Twi-hards, lets not break iTunes after you finished reading this, ok? “Twilight” fans desperately counting down the days until “New Moon” hits theaters have been treated to yet another sneak peek at the film. On the ‘one-month-til-premiere date, iTunes released a never before scene featuring Bella as she confronts the Wolf Pack about Jacob. When the shape-shifting group appears not to take her words seriously, she for some reason thinks its a good idea to slap Paul and gets to see what happens when the temperamental member of the pack is ticked off. The clip starts off with a small introduction by Taylor Lautner. Enjoy!

‘New Moon’ Scream Awards Footage: See the Videos Here!

Spike TV held its annual Scream Awards this weekend and ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ underage hottie, Taylor Lautner showed up to accept awards and introduce some new footage of ‘New Moon.’

Naturally, Twi-Hards in the audience put their cell phones to use for something other than downloading shirtless photos of Robert Pattinson, and captured the footage bootleg-style.

“During the gala ceremony of 2009 Scream, “New Moon” predecessor, ‘Twilight’, has been unveiled to be one of the big winners as it took home four kudos, including Best Fantasy Movie. Three of its stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Lautner have collected the most votes for the titles of Best Fantasy Actor, Best Fantasy Actress and Breakout Performance Male respectively.”

The bootleg material doesn’t reveal much. It focuses primarily on Lautner’s character, Jacob Black thus meaning if you’re over the age of 18 and dig this, you can probably be arrested.

Seriously, where’s the bootleg video of Robert Pattinson’s dressing room? Let’s get to the good stuff already.Spike TV’s Scream Awards will air October 27.

Bonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower NOT Dating- (Photos of Real Girlfriend Here)

The romance rumor of the day is that New Moon’s Caius Volturi, played by Jamie Campbell Bower, and Harry Potter’s girlfriend, Ginny played by Bonnie Wright, are bumping Weasleys.

This story of Jamie Campbell Bower’s girlfriend status has been on the lips of Twilight Team Volturi fans for months. Wright and Bower have been thrust together as lovers due thanks in part to the press circus for both upcoming blockbusting films, ‘New Moon’ and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

Jamie will join the wizarding world as Gellert Grindelwald in the final two Potter films. Gellert was Dumbledore’s one and only true love. Getting chummy both on and off set, the two have spent free time in each other’s company. Most recently they hit a party hosted by the fashion bible.

Last week, the pair attended a party hosted by Vogue at the Saatchi Gallery, in Chelsea, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Bulgari. “They arrived and left together, and were clearly very comfortable in each other’s company,” says a guest.

Rumors also started that Bonnie and Robert Pattinson were secretly dating, but were swiftly shot down after she stated that while she thinks he is attractive, he is absolutely “not her type.” She also states that she and Jamie are just friends. Photos of the Volturi eye candy with his actual girlfriend were snapped at last month’s Burberry fashion show in London. Photos of the two kissing at the The Serpentine Gallery summer party also blast any further validity to the Wright/Bower romance.
