Nicolas Cage ARRESTED, Dog the Bounty Hunter to the Rescue

There are two things you don’t do to the cops…1:Tell them that your name is Anastasia Beaverhausen and you are Russian royalty so they need to let you stroll in peace. 2: Double Dog Dare them to arrest you. Nic never got the memo and broke one of those rules. (I will let you guess which one.)

Nicolas Cage was arrested on Saturday for 1 count of domestic abuse and 1 count of disturbing the peace. Word is that he got Snooki drunk in New Orleans and dared cops to arrest him after he and his wife had an argument. A cab driver saw Mr. and Mrs. Cage in a screaming match and said that he saw Nicolas grab her arm. Police arrived and attempted to talk him into going home. That didn’t sit well with him and he got shouty with the authorities and yelled, “Why don’t you just arrest me?”

Jake Harris Addiction, Jake Anderson Family Man – Deadliest Catch

Last night was a big episode for “Deadliest Catch.” All you fellow Discovery channel nerds you are probably all well aware of what is coming in the next episode. Just in case you are new to the crab fishing show and live under a rock of superficiality (don’t worry I have an townhouse there) , there is a huge spoiler alert. You have been warned…

“Darkened Seas” was a pivotal episode in the series. It actually made up for powering through the King Crab season justifiable. Captain Phill Harris starts to crumble before our eyes as he can’t seem to focus and states that he feels like he is going to pass out. The camera man even asks if he is alright. Nodding he mentions going to get his medicine.

Disappearing to his room, we hear yelling as he finds his son, Jake Harris, stealing some of his pills. Phil is furious and calls Jake a liar and thief. Appalled at discovery that Jake had been stealing, he tells him that as soon as he gets to shore he wants to go separate ways. His son just stands there mumbling like a zombie about how he loves his father and is beyond sorry. Phil looks on half ignoring him before lake leans over to whisper that he is an addict.

The episode ended on that note. It is no secret that Phil suffered a stroke on January 29th and died on February 9th. The next episode will show the fall of Captain Phil. The next few weeks will be tough for DC fans. We also felt the pull of our heartstrings as the lovable Jake Anderson hears more bad news. His father has been missing for awhile and he has opted to keep that to himself. However, his mother calls Sig and lets him know what is going on and delivers the news that his father’s truck was found deserted on a country road.

Anderson has managed to capture my heart and I want to give him a big hug. Last season he suffered another loss as his sister passed away. His family reigns over his heart and head, but he fails to share too much with the crew. His mother instructs Sig to keep Jake busy. Sig agrees and mentions that he is going to wait to share the ominous news.

We were also treated to the first episode of “After the Catch.” The show was hosted in New Orleans and featured the Captains sharing drinks and stories of the season. An empty stool sat at the table with a picture of Phil smiling hanging quietly on the wall behind it. Mentions of Phil peppered the show, but no hard focus was put onto the subject except for a moment in which a clip of Johnathan Hillstrand (captain of the Time Bandit) and Phil were off the boats and riding their motorcycles and hanging out. It was too much and sent John running from the table with tears pooling in his eyes.

On June 9th, the Discovery Channel hosted a Captain Phil jazz funeral parade through New Orleans. The captains of several boats including the Northwestern team and the Tim Bandit boys, marched through the streets and celebrated the life of Phil. Both Josh and Jake Harris were there along with Jake Anderson who were all smiling as they remembered the captain of the Cornelia Marie.

Disneys’ “The Princess And The Frog”

Oh this looks fantastic! Disneys “The Princess and the Frog” is an animated family feature film loosely based on E.D. Baker’s novel “The Frog Princess” and the Grimm brothers’ “The Frog Prince.” Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, a prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia is transformed into a frog by the evil scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince mistakes a girl named Tiana for a princess and has her kiss him to break the spell. While the kiss doesn’t break the spell, it instead turns Tiana into a frog, too. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way. The film will open in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25th before expanding into wide release on December 11th.

The film’s soundtrack “The Princess and the Frog: Original Songs and Score” will be released November 23rd. It contains seven instrumental pieces and ten original songs, including the pop theme song “Never Knew I Needed” contributed by Ne-Yo. The music video for the song is directed by Melina and will premiere online in the near future. Four time Grammy Award Winning composer Randy Newman also composed and directed the rest of the songs on the album.

Anika Noni Rose (the voice of Princess Tiana) and Walt Disney Pictures is giving fans an early treat with a sneak peak of the soundtrack to “The Princess and the Frog.” Watch the exclusive featurette above to hear some of the movies’ music and to learn why Princess Tiana’s song will set her apart from past princesses. There’s no way this won’t be an awesome movie and a beautiful soundtrack. The feeling I get anticipating this film and seeing the warmth put into it is indescribable. This is what Disney is all about.

Josh Brolin’s Cheating Ways

When you’re married to one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women, whats a guy to do? Well, cheat of course! On May 21st, Josh Brolin and a local girl named Melissa Green were seen partying together at New Orlean’s Royal Street Inn.

Per In Touch:

“Melissa sat in his lap, and they were kissing each other on the mouth,” the witness reveals. “He nibbled her ears and was caressing her. He was tickling her as she wrapped her legs around him. They looked a little too close for comfort.”

Josh is currently on location in New Orleans filming the movie “Jonah Hex.” After their apparent partying was finished, Josh took Melissa to the movie’s set around 11:35 pm that night. They stuck around there for quite a while and left together at 7:23 am.

“They left together,” a witness tells In Touch. “Josh looked like he hadn’t slept at all. She was wearing the same outfit as the night before and looked embarrassed.”

Could this be another one of their rough patches they are going through? Josh and wife Diane Lane went through one of those rough patches a few months after being married when Brolin was arrested for domestic battery in December 2004. Both Josh and Diane claimed that the incident was blown out way out of proportion and the charges were later dropped.

So far the only proof offered up is the so-called witness’ account, along with a blurry far away picture of Josh laughing while a woman rests her head on his shoulder that InTouch Weekly is offering up. It could have very well been a friend he worked with or a picture caught at just the right moment to make something out of nothing. It’s all circumstantial, but are the circumstances compelling enough to suggest he cheated? It is Hollywood after all, where cheating is as common as a zit on prom night.

Angelina Jolie Pregnant …Again

Wow that was quick! If you believe the rumors going around lately, Angelina Jolie and her boy-toy Brad Pitt are going to be parents – Again!! It’s been claimed by “Star” Magazine that Angelina is just over 2-months pregnant with baby #7 for the fast growing family. This is like deja-vu for the millionth time on this reoccurring story!

Via Star Mag:

“Yes, Angie is pregnant,” a family insider tells Star. “They’d been trying for another baby for months, but it was still a total shock when she found out. Brad and Angie have been fighting so much lately, it just didn’t seem possible.”

A source close to the actress confirms that Angie is about two and a half months along. “She’s thrilled. She said she knew she was pregnant before the test confirmed it!”

According to the gossip magazine, after finding out she was indeed pregnant she decided to keep the news to herself for a bit, telling Brad only at the end of March after he returned from a trip to New Orleans. But it was only a little over a month ago that the magazine also reported that the pair were headed towards breaking up, after Jolie apparently caught Pitt having an affair with the childrens’ nanny behind her back. “Star” goes on to say that the pregnancy came at just the right time for the couple, to end their ongoing fight about Nanny-Gate.

Gee…. How convenient! Isn’t Jolie supposedly doing her own stunts for the movie “Salt” she is currently filming? If so, I doubt she’d be climbing walls and dangling off of buildings if she was actually pregnant. I guess time and waistlines will eventually tell!

Brad Pitt’s Angelina Jolie Marriage Ultimatum

The worlds most glamorous couple has everything going for them – except for one thing…. Marriage! A friend of the couples has revealed that Brad Pitt has issued Angelina Jolie an ultimatum – “Marry me, or its over!” Another source reveals that although Brad hopes to have more children with Angelina, he definitely wants to be married beforehand.

Per OK! Magazine:

“Their relationship is so out of kilter, he believes marriage is the only thing that will bring it back around, He needs to know Angie is really committed to him,” the friend says. “Becoming Mrs. Pitt would give him that answer.”

Why the sudden foot-down from Brad? Essentially its because he’s stressed out, pretty much acting like a single father while his Oscar winning flame is frantically pursuing film and humanitarian work. Brad is said to be feeling increasingly frustrated with the lack of time he is spending with Angelina. He is currently staying in New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel with the children to be closer to Angelina, who is filming new spy movie “Salt” in the city. It was recently reported Brad had pleaded with Angelina to attend couples’ counseling in a desperate bid to save their relationship. Angelina is said to have agreed, but only after seeking the advice of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton.

If you believe the source claiming these statements, then expect a Brangelina wedding sometime soon in the future, with the couple having an intimate family wedding in New Orleans. In homage to her late mom, Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina will wear a romantic simple dress modeled after the one her mother wore when she married her father, John Voight.
