Thousands took to the streets of New York to celebrate a little bit of justice at Ground Zero as President Barak Obama confirmed that Osama Bin Laden is dead.

A little bit of justice for the 9/11 attacks has finally been achieved as the man who orchestrated the terrorist attack that took nearly 3,000 victims lives. After months of intelligence work and help from Pakinstan, Osama Bin Laden was shot in the head after a successful raid by American military. A 40 minute “kill mission” took place at a “mansion” that is said to have been built with the goal of hiding the al Qaeda leader. His location was in Abbottabad, Pakistan, about two hours outside of Islamabad.

Diddy’s Dirty Money Demands

I suppose that when you are a rap veteran you can demand trays of gold to eat and flying ponies to ride. (I kid. That is Mariah Carey’s demands list.) Either way, it’s hardly surprising that Sean Combs’ Diddy Dirty Money tour demands are bottoming out in New York.

Diddy’s tour is passing through New York and has a $45,000 price tag for the right to host the official after party. Most venues are taking one look at his fees and passing.

“Sources say the rapper — who’s touring smaller venues in support of his “Last Train to Paris” release and will play the Hammerstein Ballroom on April 22 — has been asking for as much $45,000 from Manhattan clubs to host an after-party, with $25,000 payable to the artist when the venue signs on the dotted line and the rest three days before the party jumps off.”

A top nightlife promoter told Page Six that he might get that kind of payoff in Vegas, but New York hot spots will only laugh and stamp a big NO THANKS on his demands. Pacha, Covet, Shadow and Hudson Terrace have already passed according to reports. On top of the cash, he also has a shopping list of alcohol that must be present along with his own VIP area and personal waitress…

10 bottles of Moët rose Champagne
2 bottles of Patron Platinum
5 bottles of Hypnotiq
Ice that “must be clean”

One New Jersey club was willing to meet his demands, but he snubbed the venue and wanted to party in New York only. Looks like his handlers will have to talk him into a more agreeable fee or slum it with ice that hasn’t been blessed by the Pope.

Blake Lively Trying to Seduce Ryan Gosling

Never underestimate the ho tricks of a ‘Gossip Girl.’ Blake Livley has moved on from Penn Badgley and trying to seek solace in the arms of Ryan Gosling. .

Via NY Daily News:

The premiere of “Blue Valentine” had Blake hurrying out of a Parisian Chanel shoot (for more on Livley’s Chanel campaign click HERE) to make a flight to New York. She left France in a hurry to be with Gosling. Upon her arrival to the after party, Blake made a beeline straight to him.

“The sparks began flying soon afterward. At one point, Gosling affectionately placed his hand on Blake’s knee while the actress gave him a smoldering look that’s usually reserved for Dan — or Nate, depending on the “Gossip Girl” episode we’re watching. Later in the evening, when Gosling rose from his seat, Lively jumped up after him and grabbed the actor’s hand. Whatever she whispered to him next prompted the actor to sit back down.”

The witnesses also mentioned that Harvey Weinstein, whose company is behind the film, had to ask Ryan to mingle with other guests and circulate. This is key as Gosling’s performance is already being attached to the words: Oscar Nomination. Other hopefuls have already been campaigning for awhile.

After making a few rounds the attempted to make stealthy separate exits. It failed as Ryan first left and Blake trotted behind just a few minutes later. They were then spotted eating at the Standard Grill with two other friends.

Jessica Simpson Refuses to Use Professional Models

I adore how blissfully ignorant Jessica Simpson is. She is easily impressed with big words like delicatessen and bourgeoisie. So when I heard she was refusing to use uber-thin models I was a bit proud of her for snubbing the sickly thin look and using “normal” women to show her line at Fashion Week in New York.

Then I heard she was just using her friends to do the job and the brief air of appreciation fizzled.

“Jessica plans to host a private presentation to preview her spring 2011 apparel and accessories collection, and showcase her new denim line using 8 of her best friends as models. Enlisting the likes of sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and close friend Cacee Cobb.”

So basically she is giving her besties some work. Meh, I still share her love of corndogs and I believe that makes us kindred spirits.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Spotted Kissing – Plus Photos

As Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart return from their BAFTA adventure, in which Robert supposedly confirmed they are dating (click HERE for that story), they were photographed in New York. Before they left London, they were spotted kissing by Nicolas Clark. The British politician saw Stewart and Pattinson kissing and even aired out his discovery on Twitter. Too bad he didn’t snap pics of them swapping sparkle-spit.

“In The Marquis of Granby with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart.” A few hours later he added: “From what I saw just a couple of kisses on lips,” then added, “R+K were acting like a couple.”

Sparklepants is returning to NY to do press coverage for his upcoming film, “Remember Me.” Kristen tagged along and they both arrived in JFK with Rob’s best friend, Tom Sturridge (aka TomStu), trailing behind. Robert even carried Stewart’s yellow bag for her.

Disneys’ “The Princess And The Frog”

Oh this looks fantastic! Disneys “The Princess and the Frog” is an animated family feature film loosely based on E.D. Baker’s novel “The Frog Princess” and the Grimm brothers’ “The Frog Prince.” Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, a prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia is transformed into a frog by the evil scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince mistakes a girl named Tiana for a princess and has her kiss him to break the spell. While the kiss doesn’t break the spell, it instead turns Tiana into a frog, too. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way. The film will open in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25th before expanding into wide release on December 11th.

The film’s soundtrack “The Princess and the Frog: Original Songs and Score” will be released November 23rd. It contains seven instrumental pieces and ten original songs, including the pop theme song “Never Knew I Needed” contributed by Ne-Yo. The music video for the song is directed by Melina and will premiere online in the near future. Four time Grammy Award Winning composer Randy Newman also composed and directed the rest of the songs on the album.

Anika Noni Rose (the voice of Princess Tiana) and Walt Disney Pictures is giving fans an early treat with a sneak peak of the soundtrack to “The Princess and the Frog.” Watch the exclusive featurette above to hear some of the movies’ music and to learn why Princess Tiana’s song will set her apart from past princesses. There’s no way this won’t be an awesome movie and a beautiful soundtrack. The feeling I get anticipating this film and seeing the warmth put into it is indescribable. This is what Disney is all about.

Mariah Carey and Rihanna Diva Fued

New York is a big city, but apparently its not big enough for Mariah Carey and Rihanna. Costuming up as a match made in heaven, Carey and husband Nick Cannon were in the holiday spirit at their annual Halloween bash on Saturday night, while Rihanna dressed as a tiger with a tail so long a security guard had to hold it up. Although both of them were enjoying the holiday at New York’s M2 Ultralounge, neither appeared to acknowledge the other’s presence.

Per NYPost:

A spy said, “It was Mariah’s party, but Rihanna didn’t want to be seen with her. And Mariah was not going over to greet Rihanna. Mariah needed six guards to clear a path to the bathroom so her wings wouldn’t be dislodged.”

Rihanna instead chose to hang out in a booth with Ne-Yo and three female friends, but didn’t cross the dance floor to greet Mariah at any point. Meanwhile, Mariah and her boy-toy remained in their own VIP area on the opposite side the club. But there doesn’t seem that there is any real rivalry, at least according to her rep.

Per NYPost:

“There were 1,000 people there and, of course, she needed security. She heard a rumor that Rihanna was there but she never saw her. She loves Rihanna and of course would have said hello.”

Sure Mariah, you can make your way to the bathroom but not to go and greet someone you say you love? Treat others like dirt but then appear like an angel in the public eye. Thats always worked for you in the past, why not now?

Jude Law and Sienna Miller Reunite

It’s a dry morning kittens. Jude Law and Sienna Miller reuniting uglies is one of the more interesting stories on the proverbial gossip mill if that tells you anything.

Jude, who has fathered a baby with the lady version of Creepy Papa Joe Simpson, and his ex-fiancé have been having “secret meetings” in New York. According to OK! they have had several hook ups and sources are telling the mag that Law and Miller are getting along very well.

“Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well.” A spokesperson has confirmed that the pair have met up although did not comment on whether they are dating again.

The source added: “Sienna had her heart broken by Jude, but she was young and it was the first time she’d fallen in love. What people don’t realize is that they always remained close, so who knows where this will lead to next.”

Currently both are doing shows on Broadway and meet up constantly. They were engaged, but broke up after Jude’s 2006 affair with his children’s nanny. Since then their relationship has been like a bad soap. They reunite only to realize that Sienna can’t forget about his cheating and then break up only to reunite again to start the process all over.
