Of course since Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were fired from the show earlier this week, rumors have been swirling about who will be replacing the two judges. Mariah Carey seems to be a front-runner for one slot, but according to reports both Minaj and Katy Perry have also been approached about getting a seat on the judges panel.
Yesterday the nominees for this year’s American Music Awardswere announced. The big show is coming up November 20th on ABC. So who was on top with the most nods?
Well, whaddya know? The white boy’s still got it. Eminem has beaten Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg to be crowned the world’s most successful rapper, being named as the king of hip-hop by Rolling Stone magazine, with editors tallying up album sales, social media hits and critical acclaim since 2009. It seems like everyone in the celebrity world has been having some pretty crazy wardrobe malfunctions recently. Nicki Minaj had a nip slip while performing on ‘Good Morning America‘ and Kelly Rowland had both of her girls slip out and make an unexpected appearance. Well Taylor Swift is the latest celeb to add to the list. Over the weekend she had a pretty embarrassing wardrobe malfunction happen while performing in St. Louis. Poor Taylor!
Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj are already one heck of a powerful tour duo. Jessie & The Toy Boys and Nervo just finished up their stint as Britney’s opening acts this past week in Uniondale, New York. Personally, with Britney and Nicki on the bill, I don’t really need another opening act. Obviously, Britney thinks differently because she’s all like “Let’s add Joe Jonas!” Joe announced via Twitter that he would be her opening act for tonight’s “Femme Fatale” tour stop in East Rutherford, New Jersey!
Nicki Minaj says that a man who she was reportedly staying at the Palomar Hotel with hit her in the lip.
The rapper reportedly told police that she and a male companion got into a fight near the pool and moved their argument to their room. He then allegedly smacked her. According to TMZ she had a hotel employee call police, but then refused to press charges. Her attacker had left by the time authorities arrived. The cops took a report and left.

Britney Spears recently announced that her upcoming ‘Femme Fatale‘ tour was traveling to Europe – But unfortunately, her opener Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will not be joining her across the pond!
Since Enrique Iglesias hit ESC key on Britney Spears because he was rumored to have a gigantic ego/wanted more cash, Brit’s camp has been in negotiations to replace her opening act. Technically they will be “co-headlining,” but Nicki Minaj is officially touring with Spears on her Femme Fatale tour.
Most TMZ suggests that fans seem to think Minaj is a far better choice than Enrique and are happy to hear of the replacement. They could have replaced him with a can of soup and this will still be a sold out tour. Brit stans will pay top dollar to watch her sit on a box and flap her jaws to a pre-recorded song about a bass swelling. Alas, I could be wrong. While the reviews are decent, projections for the album are low. Pair that with body doubles doing most of the dancing for Britney’s videos and you get my what’s the point? shrug.
