Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Wedding Details, Wedding Dress PHOTOS!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden married last weekend. The nuptials took place beneath a tent transformed to resemble a French garden while an elephant roamed the Lionel Richie’s property. The couple’s son and daughter (Harlow and Sparrow) were the flower girl and ring bearer. People nabbed the interview and first Richie/Madden wedding pic.

Nicole wore 3 different Marchesa dresses. One, shown above, was a ball gown skirt made from over a 100 yards of silk organza and tulle. The inspiration came from Richie’s icon, Grace Kelly.

Guests included Gwen Stefani, Rachel Zoe, Ellen Pompeo, Samantha Ronson and Khloe Kardashian Odom. Neil Lane, who also created Richie’s engagement ring, designed the wedding bands. Lionel Richie also sang “You Are” to the newlyweds.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Getting Married: Engagement Ring PHOTOS

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are finally making their courtship of three years (and subsequent children) official. Richie announced during a segment on Late Night With David Letterman, that she and the ‘Good Charlotte’ rocker are finally engaged.

Though the episode of Letterman isn’t set to air until Friday, Madden quickly took to his Twitter account to reveal the news to the waiting masses.

“Yep. I’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for awhile so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same. P.s. thats why i love my family and friends. None of them are sources. All good tight lipped people who let us enjoy it. Thanks everybody!”

As for Richie, sources are saying that she ready to get the ball rolling on her nuptials.

Nicole Richie Has a Baby Boy, Sparrow

Nicole Richie has given birth to a baby boy! The “Simple Life” cohort announced via her website that she and Joel Madden welcomed their second child.

In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009
Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing
well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.
