Gwen Stefani’s Backup Plan

Gwen Stefani says she’s looking ahead to her future after she’s done making music, revealing that fashion is her back up plan for when she’s too old to jump around on stage. Outside of her solo career or fronting “No Doubt,” Stefani launched her successful “L.A.M.B.” brand and “Harajuku Lovers” line, which she now describes as being her “backup plan”.

Per Star Pulse:

She tells InStyle magazine, “I made so many clothes growing up, and I used to do my own costumes, all I would do was just daydream about what I was going to make. I wanted so badly to have a back-up plan for when I’m not performing anymore. Let’s be realistic: It’s not going to be like this forever. So I wanted to continue having something creative to do.”

Must be nice when your back up plan is being an awesome, successful fashion designer. It seems like the natural choice for Stefani, who is probably known just as well for her signature style as she is for her hit songs.

No Doubt’s New Song Stand and Deliver – Audio

[No Doubt - ‘Stand and Deliver’ Video]

No Doubt has reunited and it feels so good. They made the 16 year old girl in me very happy. Their song “Stand and Deliver” hit the net and I have brought it forth unto you as an early holiday present.

Easter has to be one of my favorite ham feasting holidays. Anyway, enjoy.
