Dakota Fanning’s ‘New Moon’ Poster a Fake – Photos

Tweens and Twimoms were excited to have this fresh “New Moon” poster of Dakota Fanning portraying the torture loving Jane. However, it is a fake.

Obviously it has been shopped. The scarlet eyed Dakota was made from an old Gap ad. Sorry to disappoint, but personally some of the best posters I have seen have been fan made.

Jessica Alba Defaces Oklahoma City, Apologizes

jessica-alba-vandalizing-oklahoma-1

I thought Jessica Alba’s performance in “The Love Guru” was bad enough, but it appears the actress has outdone herself in the lack of intelligence category.

It seems the actress who is currently in Oklahoma City, OK filming a movie, decided to take a Hayden Panettiere-like stand on behalf of aquatic life. In this case, she wants to save the lovable and cuddly great white sharks.

Alba photographed herself all around the city defacing multiple pieces of property by gluing huge photos of Jaws to them. Naturally, she is now being brought-up on charges.

Via TMZ:

“Oklahoma City cops tell us the city’s Director of Parks and Recreation — Wendell Whisenhunt — filed a police report after photos surfaced of Alba allegedly defacing electrical boxes, a bridge and a United Way billboard. Alba was on a mission, gluing posters that are part of a campaign to save the great whites.”

Perhaps she sniffed a little too much of the glue as she was plastering the posters around town.

Alba released the following apology this morning. Or rather, her “people”did:

“I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident.”

That’s right. She defaced a United Way billboard with a poster of a man-eating shark.

Please use the comment section to complete this sentence: “Jessica Alba is as dumb as _____________.”

New Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – Fenrir Greyback Surfaces

Ok y’all. I am a straight up Harry Potter fan and yes, I have actually read the books. Several times. So this is simply some eye candy for those who don’t dig vampires and couldn’t give a shiz about Lohan’s new weave. So enjoy some new “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” posters.

I pictured Fenrir Greyback a little more scary. But this is aimed at kids so I am glad they kept a restraint on the terrifying level.

Banned Coco avant Chanel Ad

Audrey Tautou s undertaking the role of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in the film “Coco avant Chanel.” The actress is portraying one of the most legendary designers hailing from Paris. However, posters with the starlet sitting on sitting on a couch in pajamas and smoking a cigarette are being banned from Paris. Currently any images of smoking, even those of one the most influential Parisians, are being torn down.

The country’s city of romance has banned all public smoking. This took place at the start of 2009. In light of the no smoking, no exceptions law, a new poster was put in place of the “offensive” advert.

Via Telegraph:

“The film’s producers were obliged to provide an alternative poster showing Tautou with the male lead. But a representative of Warner France said that “for us, the real poster is where Coco Chanel is smoking in a natural pose that translates her strong personality and her modernity.”

Agreed. You will rarely find a picture of the real Coco with a cigarette in her hand or mouth. It’s a part of her personality.

6 Watchmen EW covers!

Now I am not the biggest ‘graphic novel’ fan, but “The Watchmen” just looks so slick. I mean, have you seen the trailer, where ‘the Comdian’ is thrown out the window in slow motion? That’s hawt. And mean in a stylistic way. And now, to continue its amazing advertising campaign, there are going to be for Entertainment Weekly. Different copies of the magazine feature Rorschach, the Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, Silk Spectre, Nite Owl, and Ozymandias. If you follow this link, you can order the different covers over the internet. I personally like the Comedian one the best, he’s just so bada$$!!

The Watchmen” is due out in mere weeks–March 6th to be exact. It is about an alternate 1985, where Nixon is still president and tension between the United States and the Soviet Union are still going strong. Vigilante Rorschach investigates the murder of a former hero and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. It stars a gammut of people: Billy Crudup as Dr. Jon Osterman / Doctor Manhattan; Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Edward Blake / The Comedian; Malin Akerman as Laurie Juspeczyk / Silk Spectre II; Patrick Wilson as Daniel Dreiberg / Nite Owl II and Jackie Earle Haley as Walter Kovacs / Rorschach. It is directed by Zack Snyder, who directed “300“.

All I have to say is that “The Watchmen” looks as visually stunning as “300″ and it has a really cool plot. But will all the die-hard fans be able to handle this adaptation? Do I really care?? I just like shiny, pretty films!
