Sandra Bullock and Jesse James Fighting a Porn Star

Miss Congeniality herself is in a custody battle with her husband’s porn star ex. Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James are fighting his ex-girlfriend for custody of his daughter, Sunny. Jesse and the child’s mother, Janine Lindemulder, split when she was 7 months pregnant with their daughter. Bullock is trying to prove that she is a better parent for her husband’s daughter than the girl’s mother, an adult film star and director, who has just served six months in prison for tax evasion. Lindemulder was released last month and now is living in a halfway house, while James had been awarded sole custody of Sunny. She can seek custody at the end of the year.

Per E!:

“What would give her the right to take away my daughter?” Lindemulder said of Bullock, toward whom the majority of her ire seems directed. “This is my daughter. I’m the best mother I can be.”

James is determined not to let his ex gain custody of their daughter because, according to court papers he fears his little girl would be introduced to a dangerous world if she lived with her mother. The current dispute has arisen as the couple claims they have seen suspicious marks and bruises when she arrived at their home after Lindemulders’ visition.

Per The Morung Express:

“Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if (the girl) will be safe with (Lindemulder),” James said in a statement to the court. “She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments.”

James also has two older kids from his first marriage, and Sandra has said that she’s very happy being an involved stepmother, saying that she feels “very blessed.” The couple also have some concerns over Lindemulders new boyfriend Jeremy Aikman, who has several past state and federal convictions involving alcohol, guns and the manufacturing of narcotics. Lindemulder reportedly sent a text message to James when she was charged last year, telling him “U WIN. Sandra has her baby congrats,” even though she acknowledges Sandra for being an “excellent mother” who genuinely cares for her daughter.

Per E!:

“I know the term ‘stepmother’ carries many connotations, one of them being a ‘glorified babysitter,’ ” she writes. “My commitment and responsibility to Sunny, and Chandler and Jesse Jr., goes beyond that. We are FULLY prepared to accept the responsibility and make Sunny’s transition as healthy as possible if full custody should be awarded to Jesse…We are here, and know we may have a tough road ahead of us but we have built a strong and stable foundation, which makes us ready for anything.”

Jesse James and Lindemulder are equally unimpressive. Asking a judge to look at the home of the mother who has just been released from jail sounds pretty reasonable to me. I feel for Sandra in this situation. Being a step-parent in a blended family is a difficult situation. Does poor Sandra stand a chance against the devil’s crowd?

Gerard Butler Facing 6 Months in Jail for Paparazzi Beat-Down

Movie star hunk Gerard Butler has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery over an incident involving a paparazzi-photographer last year. If convicted, he could be sentenced up to 6 months in jail. The incident occurred the night of October 7th, 2008 after a premiere party for “RockNRolla.” Allegedly, the photographer was trailing Gerard’s limo for hours, verbally harassing Butler whenever he got in and out of the limo, and even was chasing people through the streets.

Gerard’s manager Alan Siegel said the actor was forced to have his driver stop the car he was riding in after the particular photographer repeatedly sped through red lights and almost struck two pedestrians. Butler was said to have then punched him several times, bloodying the photographer’s lip. Police filed a report against the “300” actor over the scuffle. The Los Angeles City Attorney has already filed legal charge against him on Wednesday, May 13th, and Gerard is due in court for an arraignment on June 10th. His attorney, Blair Berk, has said that Butler is not required to, and won’t, appear in court on the matter.

I don’t blame him for punching someone who was following him! It would have been cool if he yelled “This… is… Sparta!” right before knocking the pap in the mouth!!

Victoria Gotti In Foreclosure

Another day, another foreclosure – The Gotti’s gotta go! Mafia Princess Victoria Gotti long island estate is facing foreclosure after she has failed to pay a whopping $650,000 in mortgage payments on what may very well be the tackiest home in all of New York. The lender, JP Morgan Chase, claims the daughter of the late Gambino crime family boss John “Dapper Don” Gotti has failed to make payments for two years starting in September 2006. Gotti lives in the house with her three sons in the five-bedroom, 8,500 square foot home. The Gotti estate, which includes a swimming pool, tennis court, stables, guesthouse, waterfalls, a playground, a tacky fountain or two, a pond, and even a go-kart track, stretches over four acres in the blue-blooded enclave of Old Westbury, NY. It is the same house used in the her family’s tv reality show “Growing Up Gotti.” The show also featured Victoria’s spikey gel-headed disrespectful sons Carmine, John, and Frank, but was eventually canceled after because of poor ratings.

After divorcing her husband Carmine Agnello in 2003, Victoria became the the sole owner in 2005 with the bank transferring the deed to the house and the surrounding property over to Gotti. The bank says Gotti owes them $25,000 a month on the house, and claims she never made all the payments. Her mother, also named Victoria, says that her daughter’s “creep” ex-husband was to blame. Gotti claims she was unaware that Agnello had taken out an $850,000 loan out on the home before the transfer of the deed. Agnello, who was recently released from prison after serving eight years for racketeering, has allegedly not paid alimony or child support for her three sons and is now living in Ohio with a new wife.

Per NYDailyNews:

“He still owes the federal government nearly $10 million and yet they still allow him to live this way?” she said.

Gotti once tried to sell the home for $4.8 million but lowered the asking price this past January to $3.2 million. Gotti has been dancing around foreclosure for a couple of years now. In 2007, a lower court decision called a foreclosure on the property by JP Morgan Chase premature, but a Brooklyn appeals court reversed that ruling last week, as well as approving a plan to appoint a referee to coordinate the sale of the home.

Per Fox News:

“I was awarded full ownership of marital property . . . and all I inherited was a house with millions of dollars’ worth of debt,” Gotti told The Post yesterday. “This should finally put to rest all the government lies and rumors that I have $200 million buried in my back yard.”

Well, when things are garnered by ill gotten gain, you can’t expect to keep them. Seems blood money, lies and deceit purchased this home. I’ve always hoped this family would get a fraction of what was coming to them, and now they have. Thats Karma for ya!

Jessica Simpson Picks Up BFF Lane Garrison from Prision

Ex “Prison Break” star Lane Garrison is making a break from it – No, he’s not breaking out of the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California where he has been living out his sentence since December 2007. The former actor will be a free man, scheduled to be released tomorrow from prison. But just who will be there to pick up the convict when he’s released? Rumor has it that its none other than childhood friend Jessica Simpson.

Per National Ledger:

“Jessica wanted to pick Lane up herself, but she can’t,” her pal explains. “So she hired a limo for a few friends to be there once Lane walks out.”

Wow, a limo to pick you up from prison? Something about that just screams trashy! I guess he is a high class felon. However, I find it hard to view this idiot as anything but “Tweener” from the local Ace Hardware store. But then again this IS Jessica Simpson we’re talking about…. Anything for publicity!

Garrison is being released from prison after serving roughly half of his sentence for a 2006 DUI crash that left one of his teenage passengers dead and injured two others. He was sentenced on Oct. 31, 2007, to 40 months in state prison, deducting the 91 days for time spent in custody before sentencing, after pleading guilty to felony vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. Lawyers for Garrison had pushed for probation, but Garrison got off lucky with the sentence he did receive, because he could have been locked up for nearly seven years. He’s received time off his sentence for good behavior and for participating in a substance-abuse treatment program, serving as a peer mentor to other inmates.

Lets hope he can turn his life around after this lucky break he’s receiving.

Phil Spector Guilty of Second Degree Murder Plus Mug Shot

In case you haven’t already heard, legendary record producer, Phil Spector, has been convicted of second degree murder in the 2003 slaying of actress Lana Clarkson.

Via CNN.com:

“Wearing a black suit with a red tie and pocket square, Spector showed no reaction as the verdict was announced. Now 69, he faces a sentence of 18 years to life in prison when he is sentenced May 29. Asked if he agreed to the sentencing date, Spector quietly answered, ‘Yes.’”

Spector’s current wife, Rachelle was in attendance to hear the verdict but did not comment.
Spector and his attorneys plan to appeal the decision.

What confuses me the most is Phil Spectors mug shot. He looks like a fish on acid who happened to steal Stan Zbornak’s toupee (ten bonus points to the first person who can identify Stan Zbornak).

Spector was first tried for this crime in 2007. That let to a mistrial in which the deadlocked jury favored conviction 10-2.

Rapper T.I. Prison Sentence

Rapper Clifford Harris, aka T.I., aka T.I.P. (i.e. I am getting too old to follow all of these aliases), was sentenced today to one year and one day in prison.

T.I. pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge stemming from an arrest in October of 2007. He agreed to complete 1,000 hours of community service prior to his sentencing, pay $100,000 in fines, and complete an additional 500 hours of community service once his prison term is over.
T.I. has received praise from many, including the Northern Georgia district judge who sentenced him, for going above and beyond what expected of him as part of his plea deal.

T.I. worked off some of those community service hours working on the MTV documentary “Road To Redemption” in which the rapper intervened in the lives of various troubled youths to help get them back on the right track.

Today, he released the following statement:

Via E! Online:

“Today I would like to say thank-you to some, and apologize to all. Everything I learned was through trial and error. I’ve learned lessons in my life to put in my music so people won’t make the same mistakes as I.”

It was also acknowledged by court officials that Harris would receive credit for the 305 days he spent under house arrest. He will also be eligible for early release pending good behavior. Judging by his recent Vegas crotch exposure in which he rubbed a shirt over his sweaty man-hood and threw it to his fans….he’ll love jail. Don’t worry T.I., if Paris Hilton can make it a month in the pokey, you will be fine.

Britney Spears’ Ex, Adnan Ghalib, Charged With Three Felonies

Will the Britney Spears drama ever end? I hope not! Now, Britney’s former boytoy and paparazzo Adnan Ghalib has been charged with felony hit-and-run, battery, and assult with a deadly weapon for hitting a process server with his car. OUCH!

The process server was at Ghalib’s residence in Encino, CA to present Ghalib with a restraining order issued by Spears’ family. Brit’s father, Jamie Spears, is likely behind the restraining order as he has been trying to clean-up the mess Britney created after her infamous meltdown months last year.

Per E! Online:

“Ghalib started to drive toward the [process server], who, in order to avoid being pinned against a garbage truck, jumped onto the hood of Ghalib’s Mercedes. Ghalib swerved and the alleged victim fell off, breaking his wrist and sustaining other injuries. The defendant then drove away without stopping.”

Thank goodness! I thought jumping on the hood of someone’s car might be against the law, but now that I know better, some of those hunky Hollwood types better look out. I will be sprawled on the hood of your car faster than you can say ‘restaining order’.

Prosecuters have asked that Ghalib’s bail be set at $110,000. I guess asking Britney for a loan is out of the question. Ghalib also faces up to seven years in the slammer if convicted. Don’t worry Adnan, a well-gelled man like yourself will make plenty of friends in prison.

Despite his efforts, Ghalib has been ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from Spears. The restraining order is in full effect through tomorrow, when both parties are due in court.
