Robert Shapiro QUITS Lindsay Lohan

Today is Lindsay Lohan Jail Watch 2010. As the minutes of Lindsay’s freedom tick away, her replacement lawyer Robert Shapiro quit.

Now, Shapiro was one of the defending attorney team for Guilty as Hell O.J. Simpson. So this man who stood in court and defended a man who nearly decapitated his ex-wife can’t tolerate Lindsay Lohan????

Via TMZ:

“We do not know why Shapiro has left the case. He said publicly he would represent Lindsay only if she agreed to jail and followed his instructions.

Interestingly, Shawn Chapman Holley never signed the substitution of attorney form last Friday to get out of the case. So Shawn may be on the hook.”

Poor Shawn. I bet she is cursing Shapiro and hoping a diseased yak spits in his coffee. Lohan also took to Twitter to announce:

“the only “bookings” that i’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i’d be “booking” into Jail… eeeks”

Ho was arrested in Santa Monica for drunk driving and cocaine possession in 2007 so either she is going to play the amnesia card today or the coke has finally rotted the memory lobe of her brain.

Oprah Ends ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ in 2011 – VIDEO

After 25 years on the air, Oprah will announce tomorrow that she will NOT renew her contract and her talk show will end on September 9, 2011.

She reportedly told staff Thursday afternoon that this will be the last her talk show so she can focus on her new network.

ABC reports:

Back in January of 2008, Oprah announced she was launching OWN – The Oprah Winfrey Network. It was widely expected that the TV talk queen would stop doing her syndicated program in September 2011 to focus on the cable network. Sources said that the Oprah Winfrey Show would not move to OWN.

If Oprah does indeed retire her show another matter of who or what will take her place will be buzzing around soon. Ellen DeGeneres will certainly have a corner on the market.

UPDATE:

Tim Bennett, president of HARPO, has CONFIRMED that Oprah will be making the announcement tomorrow that the show will end in 2011.

“Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history. The sun will set on the “Oprah” show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.”

Yours truly will be hiding in a bomb shelter and living on vodka and Kashi for the next few days until the shrieks of homemakers every where turn to gentle sobs.

Kanye West and Lady Gaga‘s ‘Fame Kills’ Tour Canceled – UPDATED

After his poultry centered hissy fit at Common’s charity event (click here to read about that) the plug has been pulled from Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s ‘Fame Kills’ tour.

Live Nation simply announced that the tour is done before it started. No reason was cited but they did promise everyone gets their money back and will get their misspent money back at the point of purchase.

Ok one of three things happened here.

1. Kanye West is going into rehab to take his cap lock ridden rants to people who actually care.
2. He got glimpse of Gaga’s retractable peen and was furious because she is hung better.
3. There isn’t a venue large enough to fit Kanye West, his daddy issues and his groundless ego.

I am going with a combo of all three.

UPDATE – I was sort of right. TMZ is reporting that ticket sales have been terrible and that is one of the many reasons ‘Fame Kills’ was canceled. They also state that West and Gaga’s people couldn’t make nice.

“If Kanye West doesn’t regret hijacking Taylor Swift, he will now — we’re told his concert tour with Lady Gaga was scrapped because ticket sales sucked. And “sucked” happens to be a nicer version of the word we were told.

And not only that — our insiders say another factor in the cancellation was West and Gaga’s people were at each others throats like their last names were Gosselin.”

Kelly Rutherford Granted Restraining Order Against Estranged Husband

“Gossip Girl” star Kelly Rutherford’s relationship with her estranged husband has just gotten that much uglier! Rutherford has been granted a temporary restraining order against her husband the father of her two kids, Daniel Giersch, after claiming he has been threatening and following her, among other things. The childrens nanny, Michaela Kothanova, claims she wound up quitting because she was so unnerved by Giersch’s attitude during custody exchanges and she was even threatened with legal action when she refused to answer his questions about Rutherford. Ann Edwards, Rutherford’s mom, alleges Giersch followed her and his son, 2-year-old Hermes, to restaurants and to a store without prior agreement. The declaration filed Thursday also accuses Giersch of being inflexible with his scheduled custody visits and stressing her out so much she’s having a hard time breastfeeding their 3 month old daughter Helena.

Per Zap2it:

“I am not producing enough breast milk to store up quantities that can be given to Daniel for feeding Helena,” she claims in the document. “I believe that the stress Daniel has created for me is also negatively impacting my ability to produce milk.”

Giersch said in his own court filing Thursday that Rutherford is the one who’s switching up the visits on him and he has concerns that Kelly, her caretakers, and Kelly’s mother are causing immediate harm to their children. His lawyer says that Rutherford’s claims are nothing but ‘fabricated accusations.’

Per PopEater:

“Daniel will remain focused on co-parenting both of their children and not make any personal comments in order to continue to protect the children’s need for privacy and well being,” says his lawyer, Fahi Takesh Hallin.

A judge has ordered Giersch to stay at least 100 yards away from Rutherford, Helena and their son Hermes “except for brief and peaceful contact as required.” The restraining order is in effect for 21 days pending a court date on October 15th to hear more evidence. The once happy couple have been in and out of court for months now, hiring PIs and haggling over minor things such as the kids’ potty-training, pool fences, residency, school, travel, and more. Giersch also claims that he found out online when she had their baby. Now that cold Kelly. Since when is a simple phone call asking too much?

Big Brother Weekly Recap – Fights, Houseguest Removal, and Another New HOH to Boot!

Oh what a week it has been in the Big Brother house! I’ve never seen such chaos in such a short period in Big Brother 11 much less the entire show’s history. If you don’t have the live Big Brother feeds then you may have missed some extremely shocking and drastically game changing events. I’ll catch you up with everything you need to know right here.

Over the last week we’ve seen fights, major backdooring, a contestant flipping their lid, and stealing of a mans rosary among other things. And actually, this is all since just Thursday! Lets begin a few days earlier, shall we? Chima, the self-proclaimed diva, won Head of Household and was determined to get out her arch nemesis Russell because she feels as though he hates women and has called her out on her lies throughout the game. Most likely, she just wants him gone because she can’t understand how his 20-something hot tail could reject her collagen injected lips. Russell is dealing with the fact that his supposed friends in the House just got him nominated, so he is sure his alliance with Chima, Natalie and Jesse is done. This proves to be an accurate assessment by Russell, being put up on the block against Lydia for eviction.

Brooks and Dunn Break Up

Brooks and Dunn are done. That is according to their recently released statement. The country duo announced through their website that they are calling it quits. They have broken up. Dunzo. No mas.

I hath returned dahhhhhlings! And like that good drunken aunt who spoils you by sneaking booze to you at holidays…I bear gifts for all you Twilight lovahs.

Fresh “New Moon” posters and promos have hit the net. I added some older wolf pack photos for funsies. No real news value here, but it is a Sunday night and I should be nursing my hangover with my head in toilet. So…the only fun fact I have involves Jackson Rathbone. Apparently he has had a crush on Bryce Dallas Howard. (Bryce is the new Victoria for “Eclipse” click here to read about Rachelle LeFevre being replaced. )

Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel Break Up…Again

These two are probably perfect for each other, but probably fight over who’s funnier and the dinner table center pieces. They recently broke up, reconciled and have now called it off again.

Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel split again after briefly reuniting last fall after their July split. This time Sarah was the one who pulled the plug on the relationship. She has made it know that she isn’t looking for marriage. The comedian refuses to wed until gay marriage is legalized.

“Sarah initiated the split this time. He’s bummed. He’s really blue — very down,” another source tells Us. “Seems like it’s over for good this time. He’s sad because he just bought a new place and now has nobody to share it with.”

Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight Drama, James Pickens Jr. Back Tracks

I am getting beyond tired of these two. They should kill the bitches off on the show and be done with it. We all know something is up. You can’t really hide the fact that they are going to go at some point. According to my sources these two ARE leaving. It’s just a matter of time. Right now the status is in limbo. The stars’ agents and network attorneys are currently still battling it out. The point is that negotiations are still happening.

Katherine Heigl has been trying to find a way out for 2 years now. Notice how T.R. Knight’s character is noticeably absent or has a total of 3 lines in every episode? Right now the fate of their characters is up in the air. Rumors that George was going to take a sudden interest in the military have been brewing but according to leaks, that story line has been scrapped.

James Pickens Jr. was the original cast member confirming that they were leaving. Have let the cat out of the bag and got in trouble, he is now back tracking on his previous statement.

“We’ve been living with these rumors for a long time,” he said before the NAACP’s awards show. “When the question was posed to me, I was more trying to congratulate Katie and T.R. on whatever they were going to do. But yeah, I don’t have any special info about it either way.”

How is “yes they are leaving” a congratulatory statement? Just flush them down the toilet like dead goldfish and get it over with.

Nicollette Sheridan Leaving “Desperate Housewives”

Its the end for Edie Britt. Reliable sources on the set of Wisteria Lane say that a script has just been circulated for rehearsal that includes the demise of Nicollette Sheridans’ character from “Desperate Housewives.” Is she leaving the show by her own will, or did all those special requests finally cost Nicollette her job? ABC has confirmed to E! News that Sheridan will indeed be leaving the show.

Per E! Online:

“Nicollette had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project.” says her rep. “Her final episode doesn’t air until April.”

Not until April? Aw crap – I hoped we’d be rid of her sooner! Fans might remember that the blond bombshell, Edie, has been nearly axed from the show not once but twice before. Two seasons ago, Edie tried to hang herself when Carlos left her for Gabrielle, and at the end of last season she left town after her plan to blackmail Bree backfired and she was blackballed by the women on Wisteria Lane. But Edie came back both times. This time will be different. So just what are they planning for her exit? Edie finds out her husband has plans to kill her, and almost does. She runs out of the house but ends up getting in an accident, something involving her car and an electrical wire. No word yet on who will sleep with every husband on Wisteria Lane now.

Hmmm…. sounds interesting, if done right. But is that really enough for the housewife who doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut – on or off camera. How much do you think this will affect the show’s popularity? Nicollette Sheridan has never been my favorite on any level. Maybe David Spade can offer you a boney shoulder to cry on. I sure won’ t miss her.
