Apparently, the “in” thing in Hollywood these days is to extort money from famous people. Rounding out the list today is former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber.

It seems the couple’s former nanny had some shady friends and played some shady games with the couple’s children. This included tying-up Cindy and Rande’s daughter during a game of ‘cops and robbers’ and then snapping a pic of the 7 year-old.

Via TMZ:

“Documents were filed in federal court saying that Edis Kayalar, a friend of a former nanny of Crawford and husband Rande Gerber was threatening to sell the photo of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter.”

The drama doesn’t end there.

According to documents filed, Gerber paid this scumbag $1,000 to obtain what he thought was the original photo. Shortly after, Kayalar was deported back to his native Germany. Crawford received a phone call from Kayalar shortly thereafter stating that he needed $100,000 for the rest of the photos since he had been deported as a result of Crawford and her husband.
