Randy Quaid and Wife Evi Arrested for Burlglary

It seems they’re trouble with the law earlier this year didn’t set in for Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi. The two have once again been arrested, this time on charges of felony burglary!

According to TMZ, the Quaids decided to move back into a home they once owned…despite it being owned by someone else.

“A source close to the situation tells TMZ the owner of the home sent a realtor to the house after an alarm went off Saturday morning. We’re told the realtor found the gate codes had been changed, security cameras had all been moved to face up, and Randy had carved his initials in the mailbox.

When the realtor went inside, we’re told he found the place trashed — dirty dishes in the sink, footprints everywhere and clothes that didn’t belong to the owner were hanging in the closet.

The kicker — the Quaids allegedly broke a $7,000 mirror that had been over the fireplace and, according to our source, replaced it with a photo of themselves.”

No word yet as to whether or not the picture of choice was the couple’s mug shot.

The Quaids were charged with felony burglary and Evi was also charged with resisting arrest.

Times are tough, kittens. So tough that ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ star Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi have decided to start running out of posh hotels before paying for their stay.

That’s right. According to reports, the couple stiffed the San Ysidro Ranch near Santa Barbara out of thousands of dollars. Shortly after, a warrant was issued for their arrest on burglary and conspiracy charges. Law enforcement officials stated that they believed the two had every intention of skipping out with paying the bill.

The two were arrested this evening in Texas, and didn’t go down without a fight!

Via TMZ:

“Presidio County Sheriff’s deputies tell us Randy assaulted them both physically and verbally and resisted arrest, but they will not file charges. We’re also told the Sheriff’s office is in touch with officials in Santa Barbara County, who want Randy and Evi extradited.”

Is it weird that I was completely uninterested in the Quaid family until just now?
