Robert Pattinson Defends Kristen Stewart’s Rape Comment In Interview

If there is one way to piss off ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ star Robert Pattinson, it’s to call out his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart for the stupid shizz that leaks out of her mouth.

In case you didn’t know, KStew came under intense scrutiny not so long ago for comparing the paparazzi’s photographing her to being ‘raped’ (read about her comments by CLICKING HERE).

Both Pattinson and Stewart sat down with Entertainment Weekly this week and discussed the backlash.

PATTINSON: None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first — who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy. And it’s quite good being part of these Twilight films because you have to give so many interviews all the time, you can defend yourself. That’s the only way. All of us stick together, as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.

STEWART: See, if I said that? Crucifixion. You can say so much more than me. It’s insane.

Kristen goes on to say that Pattinson could “Sh*t on the face of the Queen” and everyone would still love him.

Kristen, you’re not only right, but if he did that, we’d love him even more.

Robert Pattinson Wants to Date Again – VIDEO

Robert Pattinson is still playing on the notion that he and Kristen Stewart aren’t making sweet dirty hipster love. Instead he is playing with the hearts of Twihards everywhere by announcing that he wants to date again.

“I would like to go on a date. I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore. I don’t think settling down should be the same thing as getting married,” he says, adding with a laugh: “I mean, I guess settling down just means not sleeping with everybody. I don’t like the idea of having to settle, though.”

Sure. We can play along.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Engaged, Budapest Visit Photos

The rumor of the day says Robert Pattinson proposed to Kristen Stewart during her visit in Budapest. This story comes from News of the World so once again you will have to put on your imagination goggles. Their story is that Sparklepants asked her parent’s permission to marry Kristen. A second rumor surrounding the Pattinson/Stewart engagement says it was all a joke. He reportedly got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. This was reportedly followed by laughs.

“According to News of The World newspaper (Via Gather), Kristen Stewart has told them she was asked for her hand in marriage.

“As a joke, though. Well, at least I think so!” she told the newspaper.”

It’s the worst kept “secret” in Hollywood. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are making sweet hipster love on and off set. The two have tried to play dumb when it comes to their relationship off set, but they aren’t exactly stealth. They have been photographed holding hands (Click HERE for those pictures) and spotted kissing (Click HERE for that) so the sparkle-pire is out of the bag.

Robert has been filming “Bel Ami” in Budapest the last few weeks. Kristen flew out to visit him a few days ago so they could celebrate her April 9th birthday together. Stewart also visited him in London a few months ago (Click HERE for those pics) and followed him to New York while he was doing press for “Remember Me.”

Robert Pattinson’s Hot Date with Emilie de Ravin

Robert Pattinson went on a date yesterday morning in Los Angeles. Wait, let me rephrase. Robert Pattinson took his unicorn patch on a fictitious date at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with his ‘Remember Me’ co-star, Emilie de Ravin.

Snore.

Apparently, the two were shooting a photo spread for Vogue.

Via E!:

“Editors at the fashion bible are planning a multipage spread of the twosome for the mag’s annual Power Issue that rolls off the presses just in time for Remember Me’s March 12 release date.”

“The theme is a date at LACMA,” one source says.

“Photographer Norman Jean Roy is said to have shot them in several spots throughout the museum, including interior and exterior setups. ‘It’s kind of edgy in a Vogue way,’ the source says. ‘Emilie is wearing high fashion but it’s like sort of tattered-looking. Rob is mainly in suits.’”

Again, snore.

Someone wake me when Sparklepants is passed-out nude while Ravin shaves naughty words into his chest hair.

Robert Pattinson’s Ideal Girlfriend

Robert Pattinson likes his ladies strong and dark…like my coffee.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Sparklepants describes what he looks for in a full-time lover.

Via OK!:

“I like people who are strong and have a lot of darkness to them. If she’s attractive, it doesn’t really matter [laughs]! I kind of prefer that [women approach me] and if they’re a fan, it’s perfect.”

Pattinson was caught holding hands with his co-star Kristen Stewart yesterday (check out those photos by clicking here).

I guess she fits the “strong and dark” requirement he’s looking for, but so did Bea Arthur.

Robert Pattinson Likes to ‘Entertain’ Kristen Stewart While Drunk – Photos

Old Sparklepants took his unicorn patch to Vanity Fair and of course the mag addressed the rumors and stories of the elusive Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating. Both “Twilight” actors call the love stories “false” and eloquently state it’s all “retarded.”

“She’s influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.” For the record, however, Pattinson says the rumors of a love affair are false: “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’ ” Stewart is even more emphatic: “It’s so retarded,” she says. “We’re characters in this comic book.”

The director for the first film of the “Twilight” saga didn’t help by mentioning he spent his free time getting crunk and entertaining Kristen is his hotel room.

“What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other,” says Hardwicke. “It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination.”

I don’t think the world is ready for Sparklepants wearing nothing but a lampshade and singing “Show Me the Way to Go Home” while shaking his stanky leg for KStew, but it’s nice to know the possibility is there. I wonder if he did so wearing only the Edward Cullen undies?

Michael Angarano Trying to Break Up Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Before the Robsten fans out there start sending me Twi-hard hate mail (oh, and we do read it kittens, and we do love it!), we need to remember that there is no confirmation that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are even dating, or even making out, or even bumping uglies. It’s all speculation.

But it is fun to assume isn’t it?

As we reported a while back (click here to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Kissing Photos), KStew and Sparklepants were seen recently at a Kings of Leon concert getting rather close while seeming to not only ignore their co-stars who were seated with them, but also the fact that 10,000 others were in the auditorium that night as well.

Reports that Stewart dumped her long-time boyfriend, Michael Angarano in order to hook-up with Pattinson have been circulating for months…they started right around the time of the MTV Movie Awards when Stewart arrived solo, left with Pattinson, and then was spotted telling him goodbye the following morning while looking a little shameful (my mother calls this the rode hard and put away wet look).

But the reports have switched. Now it’s being reported that Angarano is patiently waiting for his lady love to bring her affection back to reality from the land of the Sparkle. Note to Angarano: you don’t stand a chance.

Via Celebitchy Per National Enquirer:

“Michael’s convinced Kristen’s going to tire of Rob, he’s still crazy about her, so he’s positioning himself to be there when the Rob romance crumbles. But Michael’s patient,” said the insider. “They hardly ever argued, and they both had similar tastes in music, books and travel.”

Despite their breakup, the two “have remained great friends,” disclosed the insider. “They talk regularly.”

Am I still the ONLY person who doesn’t get the appeal of this chick? She has a gait like a man, always looks bored, and comes off as completely annoyed by the existence of everything and everyone.

Michael needs to move on to what he can: Avril Levine or one of the understudies for the Pussycat Dolls.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are Engaged – Photo

If you believe OK! Magazine then yes, the “Twilight” stars are indeed going to wed. However, I find that OK! (their exclamation point, not mine) is a brick short of a load so take it as you will.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are engaged according the mag’s emblazoned cover. However, in the article itself, they are basing this claim on assumption of “life might imitate art” and absolutely NO concrete evidence.

“If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?’’’an insider tells OK!. “And Rob loves to say, ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”

Amid intense are-they-or-aren’t-they speculation, Robsten had kept their relationship under the radar in recent weeks — but then burst out of the closet with an unabashed make-out session among legions of fans at the Aug. 15 Kings of Leon concert held in Vancouver’s GM Place arena.

But since that public PDA, they’ve been sneaking around after dark like — well, like a couple of vampires. “There are those subtle pats and glances on set, but they save the real kisses for after the sun goes down, late at night, when you see them disappear into their hotel,” another source tells OK!.

Why so shy all of a sudden? To paraphrase another sprawling screen saga (The Godfather): It’s business. Twilight’s producers have told Robsten to keep their love on the down low — at least until after the November release of New Moon, the second film of Stephenie Meyer’s series, in which Bella gets involved with hunky werewolf Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner.

It’s all about suspension of disbelief. The studio bosses “fear that if a romance between Rob and Kristen is confirmed,” the insider says, “Twilight fans won’t buy into the screen chemistry between Taylor and Kris.”

So basically their story is that they are joking around on set as they film “Eclipse.” Way to go OK! Mag. You just made thousands of Twihards spontaneously combust.

Emma Watson Confirms Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are Dating – UPDATED

Emma Watson is hot on the press today. She is starring in the latest Burberry campaign (see below or click here to view the photos) and now she is outing rumored couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

They have been dancing around dating issue since the “Twilight” mania began. Robert was not shy about revealing his desire for his co-star stating that he had a crush on her and often dreamt of Stewart. However, Kristen was adamant that she was faithful to long time boyfriend Michael Angarano and remained at his side.

Via OK:

Emma, who starred with Pattinson in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” still remains friends with him and often talk. That is when he not on the phone with Kristen according to Watson.

“Oh god! He’s absolutely hot! He’s driving me crazy…But we’re just good friends and can be on the phone for hours, because I know that there’s something going on between him and Kristen Stewart.”

The admission comes after ‘Pattinson Dating Stewart’ rumors reheated after the two were seen spending the evening together and leaving from a hotel in the next more at each other’s side. (Click here to read that story.)

I guess Emma failed to read the “keep it on the down low” memo.

UPDATE: It appears someone was a liar, liar crotch on fire. A rep for Watson has just blasted this interview calling it all crap.

This interview never took place with this magazine nor any other magazine and these quotes have been entirely made up. Robert Pattinson’s New Girlfriend – Photo UPDATE!

Tweens everywhere are screaming “no!!!!!!!” Robert Pattinson, the beloved “New Moon” star, is hooking up with a new blonde.

Pattinson must be taking a break from the pursuit of his “Twilight” saga costar, Kristen Stewart, to hook up with a new woman. While in Cannes Sparklepants was caught wooing another girl by the name of Erika Dutra. They were spotted at the post-party for amfAR Cinema Against AIDS getting cozy.

They were introduced by a mutual friend and fell for the blonde immediately. They spent the rest of the night together. Robby took photos of his new girl and were seen kissing several times through the night. As the party began to warp up, Erika and Pattinson were seen leaving together.

Could be worse….he could be giving a stripper named Delicious a piggy back ride back to his hotel while promising to rub glitter all over his body.

UPDATE – It appears that someone sold Pattinson out. Several other media spies were also at the party and tell a different story.

“Everyone else – and trust me, EVERYONE was watching him that night, including several with a vested interest and much to gain from a Robert Pattinson romance story – observed that he was actually really low key that night, spoke with Emile Hirsch and a few other celebrities, was not drinking heavily, and certainly did not spend most of the night, if any part of the night, in the exclusive company of “Erika”.

Speaking of Emile Hirsch though – you can blame him for Pattinson getting sold out. Because it’s his friend who did it.”

It appears that the friend of Hirsch sold the story to get some cash. It just goes to show you that no one is above lying in exchange for scratch.
