Chris Brown’s Angry Gay-Bashing Rant

Oh Chris, you are seriously sucking at rehabilitating your image. Back in March, Chris Brown scared ‘Good Morning America’ anchor Robin Roberts when he went crazy after being asked about the Rihanna assault incident of 2009. That didn’t bode well, but things continue to fizzle on the road to public image recovery. According to Star Magazine, Chris allegedly slung angry gay slurs at a pick-up basketball game in Los Angeles late last month.

Rosie O’Donnell: Chris Brown Haters are Racist

Remember when Rosie was a lovable tv show flinging toys at her audience? Remember her subsequent morph into lesbian rage filled wildebeest? Yeah, that is still going on. This time she is basically calling Chris Brown haters racist.

During her Sirius XM show, ‘Rosie Radio,’ the former funny lady tackled the topic of Chris Brown. O’Donnell felt that Good Morning America was responsible for Chris’ breakdown and abuse of chair/window/cooler (despite his camp pre-approving the questions and Robin Roberts attempt at being delicate).

Via PopEater:

“I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts. I felt like writing her and going: ‘Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find — in any way — your responsibility in this?’”

She furthers her support for Chris by justifying his violent behavior after the interview didn’t go the way he wanted it to.

“Part of me wanted to take a chair and throw it through the window at The View after all that happened. But, you know, there are no windows down there in that rat-infested cellar. Remember that cellar we were in?” O’Donnell said to her radio producer. There were no windows. It was like a prison.”

As if that weren’t enough, she prefaced all of her notions with the race card and the inevitable comparison to Charlie Sheen.

“I don’t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anybody else.” When Rosie’s executive producer implied there is a racial aspect at play, Rosie replied: “I totally think there is, and I also think it’s why he felt he was safer with Robin Roberts.”

I am all about intelligent arguments and different points of view. I get that her point is that Chris is still being dragged out for his past actions. Understood. But, once again, his violent behavior surfaces and we are expected to just ignore that? It’s obvious I am not a Chris Brown fan, but it has nothing to do with race/gender/religion or any other reason other than the fact that he is an egotistical, self centered, lady beater who will fake tears for a Michael Jackson tribute to regain popularity and only seems “sorry” that his violent behavior affected his career. The fact the he launched into a Twitter tirade/feud with Raz-B using gay references to attack him is the icing on the hate cake.

As for the comparisons to Charlie Sheen…I don’t get it. Charlie is getting boo-ed out of shows because people are finally getting that this is just a sad, troubled man high on his ego and whatever he found under the kitchen sink suffering from delusions of grandeur. People are laughing at him. Not with him. Chris beat up a green room and made himself look like a janky Hulk with a case of daddy issues and he has the #1 album. Really…who is “winning” here?

Either way, I am sure Chris is stamping a “no, thanks” on Rosie’s support while backing away slowly and forcing a smile.

Chris Brown Performs on ‘Dancing With The Stars’; Rihanna Reunion Next?

After the whole ‘Good Morning America’ freak out, Chris Brown still performed live on last night’s ‘Dancing With the Stars‘. It had been rumored after what went down last week that his performance on DWTS would be cancelled. Truthfully I was all for him being cut from last night’s show, but executives decided to still allow Chris to perform. Hmmmm.. I bet that decision had something to do with boosting ratings!

There’s no debating it! Brown is super talented. The boy can sing and he has moves. He just really needs to get his anger under control before he does something stupid again. After the whole Rihanna incident in 2009 Chris’ career hit the crapper. Radio stations, MTV, etc all stopped playing his music. Finally it seemed that people were warming back up to Brown and beginning to forgive him for his past. Some people are upset about his behavior on GMA others believe he was provoked. Will he be making a return to GMA to sit back down with Robin Roberts, as offered?

Meanwhile, Brown‘s backstage temper tantrum might end up leading to his reunion with Rihanna. Insiders at ABC claim that Roberts is scheming to reconnect the two in a television event that’s sure to be ratings gold! ABC insiders are calling it a plan to simply “milk this event for everything it’s worth,” a televised meeting between the pop stars which would be moderated by Roberts. But what’s the likelihood of this actually happening?

Per National Post:

If any of this actually goes forward, it’s unclear as to who exactly will be sending ABC Brown’s so-called “talking points.” According to the New York Post‘s Page Six, Brown’s publicist, Tammy Brook, stopped representing the pop star following his GMA tantrum.

It would be interesting to see the two talk for the first time in two years. But considering the restraining order against Brown was lifted just last month and he is still exhibiting violent behavior – this is all too soon for Rihanna! Hopefully he can keep his nose clean and can attempt to redeem himself. It’s like 3 strikes you’re out and he already has two!

Chris Brown: ‘GMA Wanted to Exploit Me’

Chris Brown got a case of the angries and went all HULK SMASH, HULK ANGRY on a cooler and a window at the Good Morning America studios after Robin Roberts asked him questions that Brown and his team approved. ABC confirmed that not only did they get the questions approved, but Brown’s team did not offer talking point sheet. Chris told BET “106 and Park” that they did submit a talking points that focused only on the album. (Click HERE for the original reported including a photo of the damage and a video of interview…)

He started with a respectable apology that sounded like he was going to man-up and take responsibility.

“First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions because I was disappointed in the way I acted.”

Then he began to try and justify his actions…

“A lot of people don’t know what went down,” he continued. “When I do shows or when I do interviews, we send out like a talking point sheet. And if the network or whoever isn’t compliant with what we want to do so that we can equally accomplish a goal, we usually kind of back out. Everything that was sent to me was about the album. That’s what we were talking about,” he said of the interview. “So when the interview proceeded, I was thrown off. I felt like, ‘OK, they told us this to get us on the show and exploit me.’ I took it very, very hard. I kept my composure throughout the whole interview … And when I got back I just let off steam in the back. I didn’t physically hurt anyone. I just wanted to release the anger inside me. I got very emotional.”

Ok, Imma gonna go all Oprah… Again, I get that the topic is old news and I am sure he is tired of being persecuted for his past actions. However, there is a difference between “blowing off steam” and acting like a child throwing a tantrum. He has no one to blame for his choices and actions. Even if ABC failed to mention their line of questioning (which I doubt) or treated you unjustly…there is a way to handle things with class and maturity.

Chris Brown Invited Back to ‘Good Morning America’

Chris Brown is all over the news lately. Not for releasing his new CD ‘FAME,’ but for flipping out and breaking a window after his appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ yesterday. Chris sat down for an interview with Robin Roberts and that was the start of it all. Robin asked him about his new CD and then began asking about the Rihanna situation from 2009. Chris got nervous and you can tell he was getting upset as the interview went on. Afterwards, network reps said that the show’s hair and makeup staff called security after hearing “loud noises coming from Brown’s dressing room,” and that the producer who was threatened discovered that a thick glass from Brown’s dressing room window had been smashed. But despite his frightening behavior, GMA and Robin are interested in having him back.

Per E!:

“We extended the invitation to him and we sure hope he takes us up on it, because we’d love to have another chat with him,” she said.

Roberts was surprised by how Chris reacted because all of her questions were approved prior to the interview. Robin was on GMA earlier this morning to talk about what went down and said she wished Chris ‘all the best’ when she invited him to come back for another interview. ABC and GMA will not press charges for the broken window they said earlier today. That’s good news for Brown because he’s already on probation and must obey all laws.

Hmmm… No word yet if Chris will take her up on her offer.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” said that Brown is still scheduled to appear on the show next week as planned despite the barrage of phone calls, emails, and message-board forums begging the show to reconsider. Several DWTS cast members have allegedly told them they don’t want anything to do with Chris if he does indeed appear. He has shown he is violent and unpredictable as a guest on a TV show. ABC should definitely cancel.

Chris Brown Breaks Window During Violent Outburst on ‘Good Morning America’ – PHOTOS, VIDEO

Making his ridiculous bleached blonde hair debut, Chris Brown made a further fool of himself on ‘Good Morning America.’

Robin Roberts interviewed Brown and asked about Rihanna and the restraining order being lifted. Brown seemed to have his anger under control for a moment and tried to aim the focus back to pimping his new album.

“It’s not really a big deal to me now. I am past that in my life. Today is the album’s day so that’s what I’m going to focus on so everyone go get that album.”

Robin then went back into talking about his album for a moment. Of course the topic circled back to the Rihanna incident after Chris talked about his album title F.A.M.E. being aimed at “forgiving all my enemies” which include the “haters and the naysayers.” (I.E. people who aren’t fans of lady beaters.) Roberts then asked how he felt he was dealing with the repercussions and he was obviously beyond irritated and once again asserted that he just wanted to focus on his album.

After the cameras cut, Brown turned violent. He stormed off set and into his dressing room where he started yelling and screaming. This is when concerned staff called the security. He became violent and started throwing furniture which broke a window. (The picture in the thumbnails shows the broken glass from the studios at GMA.)

“We’re told Brown was out of control, and one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway. ABC security tells TMZ … the window was shattered with a chair.”

Chris then ripped off his shirt and stormed out of the building, but on his way out he got in the face of one of the show’s producers and started yelling while staring him down. Security and fellow employees separated Brown. Following the show he took to Twitter to further vent his uncontrolled rage…

“I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.”

He deleted that Tweet and replaced it with more album shilling.

“All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”

The site also points out that Brown is still on probation. While I get that constantly rehashing the Rihanna incident is aggravating and even old news…beating up a window was NOT the way to prove you are a stable person in control of your anger.

Janet Jackson Blames Dr. Conrad Murray For Michaels’ Death

janet jackson 2 141109

Janet Jackson has kept quiet about the death of her brother Michael for close to five months, but now she breaks her silence and places the blame squarely on Dr. Conrad Murray. In an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, it comes as no surprise that Janet says she believes Dr. Murray was responsible for her brother’s death, working as Michael’s personal physician and admitting to giving propofol to the late pop icon. Jackson died from acute propofol intoxication, according to the L. A. Coroner’s Office, but Dr. Murray denies responsibility for his death claiming that he neither prescribed or administered anything to Jackson that should have killed him.

Per TMZ:

Janet stated, “He was the one that was administering … I think he is responsible.”

Murray was hired to treat Michael in the months before he died in June of a drug overdose, and is currently the main focus in a manslaughter investigation of the King of Pops death. Police have referred the case to prosecutors to determine if criminal charges should be filed. But Janet feels that in the very least Murray should no longer be allowed to practice medicine. Recounting the morning her brother died, Jackson says she was completely shocked when she learned of her brother’s death.

“I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call … [my assistant] said, ‘Your brother’s been taken to the hospital. It’s on CNN right now. I called everyone’s. There’s a line busy or — someone wasn’t picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya. I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that’s how I found out that he was no longer … I couldn’t believe it. It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

You can’t administer the drug that killed him and not take some sort of responsibility when he dies from the injection of that drug. His defense is ridiculous. Hippocratic oath states first to ‘do no harm.’ Murray obviously did a lot of harm and should be locked up, not just have his license revoked. Janet Jackson’s full interview will air on ABC Wednesday night.
